Good morning everyone and how was your night? The month has ended already and it is our prayer to see the new month coming. I believe we all have reached our target for the month and if not, the only thing I would keep saying is "NEVER GIVE UP". It was an hectic day for me yesterday which made me feel so weak to even visit articles but I managed to see 27 articles 🙈😋😋
Let me start with today's story
Ever since I have understood the word of God that man and woman would be joined together as husband and wife and the two shall become one flesh and I have known that God ordained marriage and He is the only one we can seek for a life partner, I have always depend on Him instead of going to meet a spiritual to help me choose the right man for me. Though, there are some people who have been directed by great men of God through God that some set of people are going to be life partner. Also, some can meet their life partner in the house of God where you hear them saying "God said". I don't dispute the fact about that but in a situation where you then go to take different names to someone to help you predict or foresee your future partner among them, many have been misled in such scenario and before you know it, issues in the home begins to sprout out.
My Dad told me how he met his wife (my Mom) and how she was the 11th girlfriend then. He said he went to meet a Pastor to show him his real wife among the 11 ladies he had. According to him, the pastor chose my mom but gave my Dad a condition that after 20 years, things will start happening. I think if he had married another lady, I wouldn't have been born by her. Truth be told, challenges and problems started happening after 20 years. My mom died though but it was hell then as couples for them.
There was a friend during my NCE program in school then who told me to follow her to choose my own partner. She told me how the Alfa (cleric man) chose her man for her. This same friend will always be beaten by this so called boyfriend even before they get married. They were still dating then and my friend would come crying at my feet to help her beg him because he broke up with her. I will also carry myself as the friend of the so called wife to be and beg him, they would come back together. Before you know it, the following week, the guy would beat her up again and she will still come to me.
In fact I became settler in their relationship and it got to an extent, I had to tell her the truth that this guy isn't meant for her. Forget about the fact that someone chose for you. This is a wrong and bad sign for you because if you end up with this guy, he will always beat the hell out of you.
Thank God she heeded to me and now, they aren't together. Then, she and someone kept telling me to go take the name of the guy I love so much and meet this cleric man but I refused because I don't want someone to add more problems to my life. The said guy I was dating then broke up with me just because I refused to attend his church (white garment church) and that was all.
The best thing you can do and will never regret in life is to seek God's hand in your relationship, ask Him if he or she is the right one for you. Then if you are convinced, you can then go ahead and probably tell your Pastor to help you pray about it.
Even in Counselling session, a Counselor will never tell you which one you should go for. He will only give some options which you will only take your decision yourself because in a situation where the counselor choose for you and in the end, things started happening and you don't enjoy your marriage, you will then start blaming the one who chose for you. That is also risky for such counselor or pastor because their integrity would be at stake.
