@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the great tit, Parus major. One of the most easily seen tits, with bright colours. Males can be distinguished from females by the lenght of the black stripe in front of the body: in males, it´s larger and goes all the way to the abdomen. This cute female was photographed in Budapest, Hungary. #Photography

@Pardinus

Who plays Risingstar? A great game to gather starbits, and help growing your Hive stake while you're having fun! What if you had the chance to mint, for a limited time only, a legendary card with your face on it, with 15k fans and 15k skill??? How awesome would that be??? Well... you just have to click the ingame link, and magic will happen! Either that, or you remember what day is it today, and when something is too good to be true, is because it probably isn't... :)))…

@Pardinus

Daili wildlife photography: the toque macaque, Macaca sinica. A few more shots of this cute monkey, endemic to Sri Lanka. These ones were photographed near Sigiriya, the ancient capital. Of all the primate species I've seen, this species wins the best hairstlyle prize by large! :) #Photography

@Pardinus

Spending some time immersed in nature has the power to charge up your batteries! It would be great to start the day visiting this small waterfall near my grandparents home village, and the nearby forest; but time to snap back to reality... and off to work! :) Good morning everyone! #Travel

@Pardinus

Peek-a-boooo! Another day at the office: how cool it is to be able to work with these creatures? African spurred tortoises, Centrochelis sulcata, are the third largest land turtles in the world. This one is only 12 kg, but an adult male can reach over 40kg!

@Pardinus

That time, when you're playing a few cents for fun online... and the game decides to troll you a little bit! :) For the ones that don't play poker, the highest combination possible is called royal flush: ace, king, queen, jack and ten, all from the same suit. And in the first draw, I had 4 out of a 5, for a great chance to get that 250x prize!! And of course, didn't happen. But at least I got a flush, could be a lot worse! :))

@Pardinus

Logged in today, and in my first attempt at content rewarding, I see the new feature has already been implemented! I think this could be a great way to steer users in right directions. One step closer in cleaning up the spam fest? Hope so!

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the black vulture, Coragyps atratus. These vultures are one of the seven vulture species we can find in the American continent. Despite their bad reputation, vultures are incredibly helpful to the environment, being a scavenger species; they work as nature cleaners! Photos taken in Costa Rica, where they seemed to like the beach as much as tourists. #Photography

@Pardinus

I'm starting to miss beaches more and more; and now that the lockdown is finally ending, I have to start planning when will I get to visit some of the wonderful beaches in SW, the best ones in the country for me! Have a great week everyone! #Photography

@Pardinus

Do you remember that movie "Inception", from 2010 and starring Di Caprio, where there were dreams inside dreams? Well, now presenting... Spamception: spam inside spam! :)) Ps. more creativity now, posting pictures with thumbs up, maybe to try and avoid filters. Oh, if only that creativity was put to good use..

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the little cormorant, Microcarbo niger. This small cormorant can be found in Asia. Like all cormorants, their feathers aren't waterproof in order to facilitate swimming, so they adopt this funny posture in order to help with the feather drying. Photos taken in Tangalle, Sri Lanka. #Photography

@Pardinus

For the ones playing Splinterlands... guild brawls are up! Yet another cool feature of an already great game! It still baffles me how come Alien Worlds has a bigger player base when the gameplay basically resumes to clicking a mine button so far. Oh well, meanwhile, I'll keep on battling! I was unable to join this brawl, but my guild is doing a fantastic job so far! Go go Roaringtwenties!! #Hive

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the slender-billed crow, Corvus enca. It looks very similar to their european "cousins", but this crow had probably the smoothest plummage I've seen! Either that, or was just the light playing tricks on me. Photos taken in an urban park in Penang, Malaysia. #Photography

@Pardinus

Do you know socios.com App? It's an app built on chiliz blockchain, made for all the sports fans out there! You can gather fan tokens of your favourite team, and gain access to a ton of experiences. And you can even get tokens for free: you can join a augmented reality token hunt every 48h, and catch a few tokens: chz, fan tokens, and ssu tokens! What kind of tokens you get, it's a matter of luck. There are already a ton of partnerships, so it's definitely worth checking if…

@Pardinus

The bad part about riding your bicycle to work? Coming back home... and having a malfunction you can't fix and makes you unable to ride back! Well, at least the view is great, while I'm waiting for a pick up! 😁😁

@Pardinus

Finally!! With lockdowns and prohibitions, it had been months since I was able to hit the beach. Today was the day my surfboard got some salty water again. I was missing this! Surf's up duuuuuuudes! 😉

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the yellow-legged seagull, Larus michahellis. This is one of the most common seagulls in Portugal. A big seagull, normally seen in large groups, with a yellow beak with a red spot on the tip; and as the name implies... with yellow legs! :) Photos taken in Berlengas, Portugal. #Photography

@Pardinus

A good thing waking up: checking my phone notifications, and seeing I'm only 0.01 BCH from my first goal! Amazing what having fun and being consistent does. Thank you all!

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the coconut lorikeet, Thricoglossus haematodus. These very colourful birds are native to Australia, and I seem to have caought them in the middle of a wild party!! What's that saying.. two's company, three's a croud? :)) Photography taken in Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, Malaysia #Photography

@Pardinus

BTC pumping, sun is shining, and it's weekend! Only thing not that great is I still have to work; but only for a couple of hours, but afterwards is time to relax! Taking a good look at the markets and trying to come up a trading plan for the next week are part of my weekend plans. Are you trading this bull market? Enjoy your weekend! #Leofinance

@Pardinus

I think this is my record in TLM mining! With all the crazyness surrounding Alien Worlds and BSC, I am imagining everyone mining like crazy; was this a very lucky strike, since my setup hasn't changed in these last few days? Or with the TLM farm open on BSC, is focus shifting from gaming to the farms? #AlienWorlds

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the indian Roller, Coracias benghalensis. Funny how it's pretty similar to the european rollers; if you know the european ones, you would look at it and say "hey, this looks like a roller!", even before identifying the species! At least, that's what happened to me. Photos taken in Sri Lanka. #Photography

@Pardinus

Another good way to start the day: checking Hive-Engine, and realizing you ridiculously low buy orders were filled. To whoever keeps dumping INDEX tokens... thank you so much! Buying a token that was hovering a little past 1 Hive a few weeks ago, below 0,2, seems a great investment! Enjoy your weekend everyone! #Leofinance

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the indian peacock, Pavo cristatus. Here is a male in full display. Peacocks are one of the species where striking plummage is essential to mating: it's how males attract females! Photo taken in Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, Malaysia. #Photography

@Pardinus

How all weeks should start: with a healthy start! A great cup of fair trade coffee, preferably in a tropical paradise. 😁 Time to review my week goals, and take a good look at the markets, since being in a tropical beach is still impossible for now! Have a great week everyone!

@Pardinus

Finally a decent daily quest reward! Over 700 DEC and a booster pack! Considering that it's about 1% chance of receiving a pack, even if the rest of the rewards was crap this would always be a lucky drop. And with card prices soaring, it comes in a great timing! Are you in on the Splinterlands train too? #Hive

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the common green forest lizard, Calotes calotes. This cute lizard has beautiful green tones, and although it doesn't have the mimetic ability of the chameleons, can easily blend with the vegetation, making him hard to spot! I found him by accident when looking into a bush. Photos taken near Ella, Sri Lanka. #Photography

@Pardinus

Who would have thought a few weeks ago, that for a time TLM would be trading at 20 wax per TLM??? How insane is that? After this pump it's still trading over 2 wax/TLM, which is still astonishing to me. Alien Worlds still has a lot to evolve game wise, but profit concerning, it seems a golden opportunity! Are you raking profits now?

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the greylag goose, Anser anser. Well... now that I think of it, I don't know if I can call it "wildlife", since he was right in the middle of a city, overseeing a lake! But he's distinct from our domestic goose, so will still feature it! Photos taken in Reikjavik, Iceland.

@Pardinus

Wow: turning on the computer, checking noise... and realise over 300 people like to check what's going on in this mini blog! Thank you all for the support, we are indeed living exciting crypto times! Enjoy your day!

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the eyelash viper, Bothriechis schlegelii. The name comes from the scales above the eyes, that look similar to eyelashes. It is a rather venomous species, and a friend almost stepped on it, when we were coming back to the hotel from dinner! A beautiful creature, shame I couldn't get better photos. Photos taken in Costa Rica. #Photography

@Pardinus

The bull market is hitting Splinterlands too, and packs have been flying. And as some milestones are being hit, a goodie comes along! If you have bought any Splinterlands pack in the last months, you might get a surprise if you're lucky: 11th untamed airdrop is out! Go to the Shop section and claim your airdrop! Good luck! #Hive

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the european robin, Erithacus rubecula. This little bird can be easily recognized by its big orange chest, and it's actually a very friendly species! It's not uncommon to see them in urban parks, and closer than we would think possible. Photos taken in parque natural de Picos de Europa, Spain. #Photography

@Pardinus

Investing in yourself is the best investment you'll make. Coursera is an online learning platform, and today I received an email from them: 9 years celebration, and free courses for the taking! The offer stands until the end of April, so if you want to learn something new... why not check if there is anything to your liking? #Leofinance

@Pardinus

Guess that AlienWorlds is being a victim of its recent success? Mining in the last couple of days is near impossible, with error messages after error messages.; and now even claiming TLM seems to stay in an eternal freeze. Is there any communication from the oficcial team I am unaware of? #AlienWorlds

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the european toad, Bufo bufo. This is the biggest toad species in Portugal, and there's a marked difference in size between males and females: females are huge, and can reach over 20 cm! My photographic model was a female. Photos taken in Mourão, Portugal #Photography

@Pardinus

When you try to get work done but someone demands petting before you're allowed to use the analyser... cats will be cats! 😁😁

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the white faced capuchin, Cebus capucinus. These monkeys can be found in central america, and live in groups. They are one of the four species of primates you can find in Costa Rica, where these photos were taken. #Photography

@Pardinus

Seems we're having a red sunday... and yet I'm celebrating! In the long run, these days are opportunities. And this day marks my first big noise.cash celebration... just joined a pretty cool club! The question now is: what's next? 😉

@Pardinus

Daily widlife photography: the changeable hawk-eagle, Nisaetus cirrhatus. These are probably my favourite photos of a bird of prey. It's hard to take pictures this close, let alone seeing such a beautiful animal with its wings wide open while perching. Photos taken in Udawalawa, Sri Lanka.

@Pardinus

PLaying Splinterlands with the coolest ruleset for an exploding dwarf: enraged + equalizer. Now the squishy dwarf is not squishy anymore... and he's pissed!! Guess what happened to the opposite team? ;) #Hive

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the common ostrich, Struthio camelus. Probably the most well known (and the biggest!) flightless bird in the world. But do you know how to tell males from females? Simple: males have black plummage, females have grayish-brown tones! Photos taken in a wildlife park in Portugal. #Photography

@Pardinus

Rising wedges are normal bearish formations... but it wouldn't be the first time BTC "breaks" the rules and shoots straight up! I believe we're going to have a sales season. Keeping a cool head and a game plan is essential in these corrections! Any thoughts on the current market? #Leofinance

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the little egret, Egretta garzetta. A very common egret in Portugal, and easily recognized because of her yellow feet. Actually, there are not that many white egrets with yellow feet, and certainly none other in the country. Caught this one taking a stroll on the beach. Photos taken in Milfontes, Portugal.

@Pardinus

Busy day today! I can't tell how time flew by, but it did, and unlike last days this is the first time I check noise.cash! Not even time to admire the sunset; glad I have cool sunset photos as a reminder. Here is the view from one secluded beach somewhere in SW Portugal.

@Pardinus

When you start dreaming that you're in front of rhe computer, a massive crash is occurring, and you're trying to buy the dip and you can't... you probably need to wake up, go out, and get some fresh air! Lucky for me, it's ride to work day! A bicycle ride does wonders for clearing the mind. Good morning everyone!

@Pardinus

So this is my reality for the past 3-4 days. Game basically unplayable; either this, or failed to fetch error. Clearing cookies and cache hasn't worked, and I have a feeling I'll be hardly the only one experiencing this... or am I wrong? #AlienWorlds

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: what am I seeing? I normally choose a particular species to feature, but while browsing my photos, found a couple of species that I haven't identified yet. So I'm flipping the coin this time, and I'm hoping you can help me identify them! :) Photos taken in Tangalle, Sri Lanka.

@Pardinus

This is the time where you have to keep a cool head and not panic sell! Corrections are healthy: think in terms of buying opportunities for the longer term! We are near a resistance area, will the price reverse, or test lower levels? Take your pick! #Leofinance

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the roadside hawk, Rupornis magnirostris. This species has a lot of subspecies, and a great diversity of plummages. This is the Costa Rica one, photographed... you've guessed: on the roadside! :) Somewhere between Arenal and Monteverde, there it was, busy feeding and not noticing me while I took some photos. #Photography

@Pardinus

This is where I would picture myself now: on board of a plane to... anywhere!! Time to plan next destination, and enjoy the crypto markets rollercoaster to finance the next trip! ;) But for now, there's work to be done. Have a great weekend! PS: What happened to the cool button that let you choose in which chamber to post??

@Pardinus

Combining Splinterlands with even more nfts? I have a feeling this has been flying under the radar, at least it was for me. Spring Training is a project where you can win nft packs on wax for participating on some Splinterlands tournaments. A few of them have already happened, and only now have I joined in. I opened one of the packs I've won and the art is pretty cool. Who knows, wih all the nfts hype this could be a promising project! #Hive

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the osprey, Pandion haliaetus. This is a fishing species, always nesting near water. In Portugal is sometimes seen, although it's believed there are no resident animals. This was the first time I saw an osprey perching, and near its nest! Not in my country, but in Cuba, during vacations; she's present in almost all continents, and a few subspecies exist, although very similar to each other. #Photography

@Pardinus

Remembering awesome nature trails: Ruta de Cares is a popular trail in Picos de Europa, a Nacioanl park in Spain. The path follows a beautiful canyon, and it's around 12km; well, 24km, since it's not circular and you have to walk back! The views are amazing and the path is wide enough not to freak out, although you can't be that much distracted, because it's a veeeeeery steep fall! #Travel

@Pardinus

Amazing how one week without exercising amd gaining one kg decreases my running performance: today my usual Sunday run felt like I had someone on my shoulders! 😁 Good thing is some more dedication and I'll get back to my usual running pace and improve from there. Next stop: sub 6:30/km!

@Pardinus

Missed my daily wildlife photography yesterday, so starting my day with it: the bottlenose dolphin, Tursiops truncatus. This one of the most common dolphin species worldwide. These were photographed in São Miguel, Açores, and although my goal was to see whales, dolphin watching is sure to bring moments of joy: they are friendly and curious, approaching boats frequently. #Photography

@Pardinus

Someone sent me this cartoon today, and if we apply the shouting and rumours to social media and online forums, it's probably not that far from truth. It's extremely important to think for yourself and always, always... DYOR! If you don't know what these letters mean... then this is exactly for you! 😉

@Pardinus

Yes, I get it: captchas are a necessary evil. They suck, but probably prevent a lot of system exploitations. But come on.. now I feel I'm just being trolled! Take a look at the last captchas I had to solve: so, to decide if the top is at waist level, etc... I have to evaluate glasses? Or a hat??? :)))))

@Pardinus

One of those crazy days, where time just flies by! Only now am I able to sit and take a look at all the posting done today; might as well share some colours when I was in a far more relaxed mood, vacationing in Hungary. These photos were taken near Tihany, a small village near lake Balaton. #Photography

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the northern wheatear, Oenanthe oenanthe. Found this little guy roaming in the rock roses fields, during a visit to friends in Alentejo. This area is great for birdwatching, and it was only the second time in my life that I saw this particular species! #Photography

@Pardinus

Another day at the job! Care to guess how much will this canine family increase? This is an easy one! 😉

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the eurasian magpie, Pica pica. These magpies can easily be seen near urban areas, and are considered highly inteligent, as most members of the Corvidae family. It's hard not to recognize them, with their vivid colours and big tails. The name in portuguese is pega rabuda, which if translated literally means... magpie with a big butt! :) Photos taken in Algarve, Portugal.

@Pardinus

Even better than having a sunny day and being able to ride to work... is unexpected birdwatching on the way! A great cormorant, Phalacrocorax carbo, decided to check the local beach. Luckily I decided to stop and take a photo, if I had continued my way I would probably pass beneath his perch at the same time he dropped a "bomb"! 😁

@Pardinus

Small green candle, a doji meaning indecision, and a big red candle on the daily chart, failing to cross the 50 EMA. I have a feeling that BTC will be on sales again soon... any thoughts? #Leofinance

@Pardinus

Daily wildlife photography: the madeiran chaffinch, Fringilla coelebs maderensis. These colourful finches are a subspecies of the common chaffinch, that can only be found in Madeira island. If you visit the island and do some of the nature trails, it won't be uncommon to find them, since they grew accostumated to human presence in some spots, and will almost come and eat at your hand! #Photography

@Pardinus

Another Splinterlands season ended! Made it to Diamond I again, and this time the rewards in DEC compensated the cards that DIDN't dropped! :) Oh well, but since we get these cool rewards just by having fun playing, I really can't complain, can I? If you haven't opened those chests already... good luck! And if you did... were you lucky?? Good morning everyone! #Hive
