Daily wildlife photography: the eyelash viper, Bothriechis schlegelii. The name comes from the scales above the eyes, that look similar to eyelashes. It is a rather venomous species, and a friend almost stepped on it, when we were coming back to the hotel from dinner! A beautiful creature, shame I couldn't get better photos.
