Daily wildlife photography: the eurasian magpie, Pica pica. These magpies can easily be seen near urban areas, and are considered highly inteligent, as most members of the Corvidae family. It's hard not to recognize them, with their vivid colours and big tails. The name in portuguese is pega rabuda, which if translated literally means... magpie with a big butt! :) Photos taken in Algarve, Portugal.

Good morning! We have these birds in the area I live and every morning I watch them trying to find food etc. :) Some years ago, I left some apples and tomatoes in the balcony and everyday I'd see some parts of them missing lol :) they were coming and eat my fruits!! :) Of course I didn't get upset, the opposite I would say... :)
