Time Tested Bitcoin Cash: A Powerful Brand
Why Rebranding (to bcash...) Is Unecessary And Pointless.
While this topic was brought up a few months ago, I still read discussions regarding a rebranding of Bitcoin Cash into "bcash" mentioning several reasons to support this.
These are all honest suggestions with a perspective to improve marketing aiming to displace the use of the slur "bcash", but I will explain here my disagreement and all the reasons why rebranding is unnecessary.
Bitcoin Cash is a HUGE brand name already. Nobody uses the term "bcash" besides a bunch of maximalist trolls and their brainwashed followers.
I've been in crypto since early 2017, and I can definitely tell that Bitcoin Cash is always considered a top cryptocurrency. The slur made no difference.
Bitcoin Cash is a time-tested brand name. It doesn't go away as the maximalist camp wants to.
It has always been between the three or four of the top cryptocurrencies.
These are always BTC, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash.
It was never Solana, Avalance, Cardano, Polkadot, Tron, XVG, Fantom, Omni, IOTA, Polygon, WAX and any other temporary VC pump and dump scheme that will not be around in the next two to three years.
It is not the Ethereum clones that will survive, not the exchange tokens, and not the meme coins.
How many times have we been through this? All these will come and go.
Here's how strong the Bitcoin Cash brand name is:
BITCOIN CASH, A Powerful Brand
Here's a small list of multinational businesses and institutions that started accepting or offering investment programs in a small number of cryptocurrencies, mostly within 2020-2021.
Usually, it is just three or four cryptocurrencies they will select.
Bitcoin Cash is ALWAYS between the top-4 when institutions and corporations adopt cryptocurrency:

· Interactive Brokers (USA): (BCH-BTC-ETH-LTC) (read more)
· AMC Theaters - Via Bitpay (USA) (BCH-BTC-ETH-Shiba) (read more)
· PayPal (USA & UK currently): (BCH-BTC-ETH-LTC) (source)
· Bancolombia (Colombia): (BCH-BTC-ETH-LTC) (read more)
· Grayscale (USA): (BCHG GBTC and more) (read more)
· Newegg - via Bitpay (BCH — BTC and more) (source)
· TAG Heuer (BCH and 11 more cryptocurrencies) (read more)
· Gucci (BCH and 10 more cryptocurrencies) (read more)
· Every Major Cryptocurrency Exchange Lists Bitcoin Cash
· Almost all retail brokers include Bitcoin Cash (Robinhood, Revolut, e-Toro)
All these institutions and their executives are aware of the Bitcoin Cash brand and don't need a re-introduction under a different name.
There's no Cardano, Solana, Avalanche, Terra Luna, or Polkadot in there.
The Bitcoin Cash brand is more powerful even than what Bitcoin Cash fans think.
Tens Of Thousands Of Merchants Accept BITCOIN CASH Globally
There are probably 100 million people out there that know the name Bitcoin Cash and have not even heard of the bcash slur.
Everyone is doing their part.
Noise.cash and read.cash brought tens of thousands of newcomers to the Cryptoverse, with Bitcoin Cash onboarding all of them.
It wasn't XRP, XLM, Dogecoin, Shiba, Solana, Ethereum, or BTC but Bitcoin Cash.
Just these two platforms brought about 100 thousand new entries with Bitcoin Cash engraved as a brand in their cryptocurrency mindset.
Most of these people have not even heard the bcash slur.
I can count on my fingers and even name all those that joined these two platforms and hated Bitcoin Cash. That's just a few Publish0x failure writers and a bunch of ignorant trolls. That's no more than ten of them. They stopped using the platforms once the BCH tips stopped. The rest don't care about what they have to say.
Again, this is just the Blockstream shills, and the brainwashed newcomers but nobody else.
The bcash slur is becoming insignificant and loses steam every year. It's just there for Samson to think he damages Bitcoin Cash.
There's nothing else behind the bcash slur but a boy that turned rich by playing CEO with his toys.
For the paid spammers and bots on Twitter / Reddit, the name won't matter.
It is obvious Blockstream operates troll farms with several thousands of burner accounts and directs them against the Bitcoin version that works.
Bitcoin Cash has successfully challenged all the failed narratives of Blockstream and proven how the blockchain scales and how the blockchain "trilemma" was just a pointless argument Vitalik created to downplay Ethereum's inability to scale.
Changing the name and using bcash won't bring positive effects.
Bitcoin Cash is a powerhouse brand name beyond the limits of the crypto market.
The lies and anti-BCH propaganda won't stop anyway:
Adam Back, the patriarch of maximalism and a prominent propagandist, pushes the narrative that “BCH has an actual negative reputation”.
Another lie by the master manipulator of public opinion, Adam Back, who thinks we do not notice the delicate use of terms to attack Bitcoin Cash.
Bitcoin Cash has a negative reputation only deep inside the maximalist cult and the bunch of degenerates it brainwashed.
And that’s less than 0.01% of the crypto population.
Closing Thoughts
Two politicians, one of them the Prime Minister of a nation (St. Kitts and Nevis), are pushing the legal tender adoption of Bitcoin Cash.
Mainstream news will soon feature the name Bitcoin Cash on the front page.
A PM is interested in Bitcoin Cash. It does not matter to these politicians what the Samson trolls will say. The trolls will try to boycott Bitcoin Cash, whatever name it has. What matters is the adoption rate in these countries and how Bitcoin Cash was noticed as a positive financial force for these economies.
In November 2017, I remember watching on YouTube Roger Ver announcing his support of Bitcoin Cash, and a weekend that followed with the price of BTC collapsing 50% and Bitcoin Cash rising significantly.
Every trader dumped BTC and moved into Bitcoin Cash, maximalists included.
The bcash slur has zero effect. It is just there to back a hollow argument. The brand name, though, is Bitcoin Cash and has already reached a broad audience. There’s no real value in changing it now or ever.
These, however, are just my 2 sats on the matter. I'll follow consensus and any future community decisions whatsoever.

In 2020, I opened my coinsph app for the first time after the BTC crash in 2018, I was surprised to see that the app now allows three other cryptocurrencies, ETH, XRP, and Bitcoin Cash! I thought these must be the most reliable alt coins at the time. Although XRP has been drifting in troubled waters now.
Anyways, I agree with you, Bitcoin Cash is now a popular brand name. With so many new altcoins popping out every now and then, changing the brand name will only lead to confusion.
