A Tale of Drunken Pachuchay

Hey there, lovelies! It was a hot afternoon here on our end. To give you an idea of how humid it was, after a long hour of bathing, I was perspiring like a waterfall when I got out of the bathroom. lol! Just the other day, I was complaining about constant rain here in our place, and now here I am again, complaining about the opposite. 

This kind of weather makes me want to grab an ice-cold beer and chug it all down in one go. *bottoms up*

Those were the good old days, hehe.

Anyway, @meitanteikudo 's article take me down to memory lane when I was such a badass drunkard, lol! So this is going to be my entry on his writing prompt. If you wish to hop in, you just have to follow his simple mechanics and you're good to go.

• When and what was your first alcoholic drink?

I first tasted the bitterness of alcoholic drinks when I was 18 years old and it was San Miguel beer. I was living solo, with no restrictions so the new set of friends that I met introduced me to SanMig. I was feeling maarte pa that time, like "no, I don't drink" but later on, I became the tanggera na, hahaha! Then from SanMig to Gin Bilog or Ginebra San Miguel. And we drank it without chaser ha, like tubig lang sapat na, haha! Gumuguhit sa lalamunan ang init eh, as in! Then we tried mixing it with pineapple and pomelo juice, but mostly, water lang talaga. Then one time, one of their friends brought lambanog, I don't know what's its English term, so ayun nga, pinatikim nila sa akin and it felt like poison na gumuguhit sa lalamunan ko. They told me kasi na it's like tuba lang daw, and I know tuba kasi my Lola used to sell tuba when I was a kid. But after drinking lambanog, I swear that I would never drink again kasi feeling ko they all tasted like lambanog na eh. So I told myself na di na ako iinom, pero siempre, echos echos lang yun kasi after a week eh inom ulit, hahaha!

• What's the most stupid or craziest thing you did under the influence?

This incident happened when I met my husband na pero we're not in relationship pa. Eto young mga panahon na hindi na sya sumipot or nagpakita after ko magconfess ng feeling ko sa kanya. So ako na feeling heartbroken, eh nakipag inuman doon sa isang friend nya. Dalawa lang kami and 2 gin bilog ang naubos namin. After the inuman, umakyat ako doon sa rooftop ng apartment na tinitirhan namin and cry cry while star gazing, hahaha! I was with my sister that time and kasama nya din noon ang boyfriend nya.

Ako naman eh tamag emote emote sa tabi then bigla ko na lang tinapon young tsinepen ko sa dumaang mama na nagmamaneho ng tribike. It was not intentional naman talaga, it just so happen na napadaan sya when I threw my tsinepen. So ako, I was under influence nga, I told the guy, "Psst, tsinepen ko yan ha, bakit nyo sinagasaan?"

Siempre si guy eh triggered na and I did not know na meron pala yun sya diprensya sa utak, like di naman totally kasi mukha syang normal. So ayun nga, nagkapatulan na. I was shouting at 11 p.m. kasi talagang pinaglalaban ko young tsinepen ko na sinagasaan nya, hahaha! Then etong boyfriend ng sister ko eh nakialam na. So sila na young nag away na dalawa. So todo awat kami ng kapatid ko, nawala bigla kalasingan ko eh, hahaha!

After ng ilang minutong awatan eh natigil naman. I told my sister na pauwiin na nya boyfriend nya bago pa lumala. So akala namin talaga eh tapos na, pero ilang minute lang eh nagtawag pala ng resbak yung boyfriend ng sister ko at ayun, jusko, riot talaga kasi andaming dalang resbak then yung guy eh may mga barkada din. Ako eh nakatulala na lang habang nanonood sa rambulan nila, hahaha!

At dahil dyan, sinumpa ko ulit na di na ako iinom! Pero siempre, echos lang ulit yun kasi after ng ilang araw, tagay ulit!

• Have you ever cried drunk?

Yessss! Especially when I am heartbroken kahit di naman broken, hahaha!
