The Blessing.
A lot of people have reduced the blessing of God to just monetary value. It is a wrong way to reduce the blessing of God to just money. It includes money, yes, but it's not all about money. As humans, we have allowed our human needs to reduce our spiritual aspect to material things.
The blessing contains healing and health too. When you say you are blessed, you are not only to talk about the money in your account but other aspects of your life too. The blessings of God are multi-dimensional. It doesn't mean when you don't have the money you are not blessed. God is El-Shaddai... It means whoever you want Him to be with you, He can be. It depends on what you need. The problem is, that we focus too much on the money rather than focus on what God has given us that can generate the money that we need.
The blessing of God also comes with deliverance and victories. When you operate in the blessing of God your victory is guaranteed. The Bible says that in this world we would have tribulations but we should be of good cheer because we have overcome the world. It means there would be trouble. It's not a matter of IF but a function of WHEN. It will come because that's how we build strength. We need to know that even if we are staring at defeat in the face, we are still blessed. Our current reality cannot change what God has called us. He called us blessed and that's who we are.
In the midst of darkness, He called forth light and darkness fled. God cannot lie so whatever He declared, as long as He declared it, it must manifest. They felt Jesus came late for Lazarus, little did they know He was right on time. God called you blessed because He sees beyond your present predicament, you just have to believe it too because all things work together for our good as believers.
The blessing also contains material increase. Your prosperity is not tied to the economy of the country you are residing. God can break the order of things to show you that He is limitless. Isaac sowed in the time of famine and he reaped a thousand folds. We sometimes set our minds on the NEWS as against what God has said (The Bible and His revealed Word). The currency might become useless but we are not useless because we operate with heaven's currency. The economy keeps getting worse but God keeps blessing His own by meeting their material needs. How do you explain the Israelites in the wilderness for 40 years yet their clothes and sandals didn't wear out? How?!?! God is intentional about us...we just have to trust His process.
Blessed people don't rely on the situation but they look up to Jesus. The man at the pool of Bethsaida kept waiting for the right time but there is no right time...Jesus makes every situation perfect for you. He makes things right for His own.
The blessing of God also contains mercy. It means God is telling us that where men failed, as believers we will succeed because He said He will have mercy on whom He chooses to have mercy on, and compassion on whom He chooses to have compassion on. The mercy of God makes you get what you don't deserve but it doesn't mean you don't have a part to play. It only means you will get even more than your effort. The element of mercy brings you into the place of favour with God and with men.
The blessing of God is encompassing. It also contains newness, answered prayers, fruitfulness and whatever you desire from God. It has to be to God's Glory.
We cannot connect to all these things without believing in the finished work of Jesus. We must have faith in God and not in our ability. We have to pay attention to the Word of God, study to show ourselves approved as a workman that is not ashamed and rightly diving the Word of truth. We need to consistently pursue after God...pant after Him as the deer pants after the water brook...not just for the Blessings we can get but for who He is.
We have to grow spiritually. We cannot stay stagnant in faith. As a child is not expected to keep feeding on milk for life, a believer is expected to grow in faith where we take the focus off ourselves and focus on God and increase our faith in the things we are trusting Him for.

Most rich and corrupt people spend a large time of the day worshipping their Gods, Goddesses, and divine Gurus/mentors inside their costly homes. Money motivates them to religious activities. They get court rules in their favor by utilizing huge money earned through corruption and crimes. Most of them get away without facing any punishment throughout their earthly life! It remains unknown what the Almighty make about them.
