What's The Colour Of The Problem?
I grew up supporting **Manchester United** and everyone who knew how this team was back then would tell you that they would do anything to grind our results. They were used to scoring late goals and they have given so much fear into the hearts of their oppositions back then. You would want to underestimate them at your peril. You can't ever underestimate them because they knew how to keep you on your toes. They had flair, they had talents combined with physicality. They can pull transfers out of the hatch and every player wants to play for them. They knew how to blend their youth with their starting 11 and also knew how to make use of their aged players which explains the longevity of **Ryan Giggs** and **Paul Scholes**, even with the likes of **Nemanja Vidic**, **Patrice Evra**, **Rio Ferdinand** and **Wes Brown**. They had emerging players too and even an average player would look like a world-class player when they are with Manchester United especially the likes of **Anderson**, **Rafael**, **Fabio**, **Obertan** and others. You would gladly wear your jersey to let everyone know that you supported **Manchester United**. Oh! What glory days they were back then. How quickly the fortune of this team has changed and it aches my heart to see the current crop of players not putting in their shift. It's about money now for modern-day players and football isn't what it used to be. It's quite sad, I must say. I don't even understand the colour of the problem **Manchester United** is facing at the moment. They have been terrible ever since **Sir Alex Ferguson** left the reigns. He patched up the team in the last season of his retirement and I think the fear factor was still there even at that because of his influence and the moment that figure left, everything came crumbling and we could see United for who they are. A club that is now more focused on the marketing aspect of things other than the sporting aspect. They seem to have fallen off the wagon and living on past glory. They seem to think they can pull the weight as of old forgetting that they have to work twice as hard right now. I can't say the major thing that is wrong with this club because several managers have come and gone and many players have been added and ejected at the same time, yet, nothing is changing as it is obvious for all to see. **David** **Moyes**, **Jose Mourinho**, **Louis Van Gaal**, **Ole Gunnar Solskjaer** have all come and gone, still, nothing has changed. **Manchester United** boasts of the best talents in the world with the likes of **De Gea** in goal, **Varane** in defence, **Pogba** in midfield with **Bruno Fernandes** in attacking position. The likes of **Rashford** and **Sancho** on the wings and **Cavani** with **Cristiano Ronaldo** upfront but this team is still struggling and it's not even about them not gelling because I have seen enough of their brilliant link-up play when they really want to play yet, it looks like they have been cursed, really. They looked like an average team and you can see how opposition teams take them on without fear. The series of results they have been getting lately speaks a lot and not just this season, but for a while now. They were lucky to even win the **Europa League final** against **Ajax** under **Jose Mourinho** but we all need that moment in football sometimes - where you don't play at your best and still managed to win. You can see how the fortunes have changed because if it was the **Manchester United** team of old, they would not field too many regulars in **FA Cup** and **EFL Cup** matches because those are the moments where the fringe players get tested and the academy players come into the fray of things so they can feel what it means to play for **Manchester United**. You only see the regulars towards the Semi-Final or the Final when they managed to qualify to that point. A lot of youthful talents has been discovered from these competitions. Oh! How the mighty has fallen and that's the case with **Manchester United**. With over 127 attempts from set-pieces, **Manchester United** has not managed a single goal from a set-piece this season. This is why they aren't scoring as many goals as possible because you can't always rely on open play to get your goals, you need other sources. I wonder how the set piece coach sleeps at night knowing he has contributed nothing to **Manchester United** this season and yet he gets paid. **Manchester United** has conceded quite a lot of goals from set-pieces too. At least, if they can't score from a set-piece, they should at least learn to defend one but sadly, they have been poor on both fronts. Everyone seems to be tired of this team and yes, I am tired too. Who wouldn't be, when we have been subjected to painful experiences every time we play. What's there to be optimistic about? The moment we scored against **Southampton** today, I knew it was a flash because we would crumble again which was why I wasn't even excited about the goal. I only knew we were good enough to get a draw the moment we scored and I was proved right. It's time for the coach to take drastic actions and change his tactics while dropping players but the thing is if he drops players, who is available to be used from the bench? πππ€£ππ€£ This is why I asked what colour is the problem **Manchester United** is facing because I don't understand either. I just had to get this out of my mind and that's why it's not my regular life or relationship posts. I hope you all bear with me this time around. I deeply appreciate you all and my amazing sponsors too. Every one of you here encourages me to keep pushing and I am happy. *Thank you for your time.* Kindly follow me on **Noise.Cash**... United performance is disheartening lately, even my brother doesn't like to be called a United fan anymore and I think the glory days ended with Ferguson because the team hasn't gotten it right since then. I enjoyed watching Giggs play, the way the commentator shouts Paul Scholes's name when are scores a screamer is unique. Berbatov, Evra, and others did make United matches enjoyable but things are not the same anymore. The team needs hungry players in attack, Ronaldo and Cavani wouldn't make a difference with a team like this. The coach should be replaced, even the underrated Newcastle are now winning matches.
Newcastle picked up 3 wins already, even today. Cavani and Ronaldo cannot do much with this team, it's disappointing. Oh, I miss Berba. I've given up on this team.
As a United fan too, it is with a heavy heart I leave viewing centres everytime I go to watch them play. And even when we win, it is usually not convincing. To be honest, it is so hard to pinpoint the problem as it is, and I am tired of thinking too much about it. This season is gone. And unless a miracle happens and we go on to win the UCL it's another trophyless season. And day by day, they hope for top 4 in the league fades into oblivion
I doubt they can secure a top 4 finish. I don't even check Twitter when we draw or lose and most people are used to seeing us play terribly so they don't bother about us anymore. Thank God I don't watch at viewing centers, I would have hated many people π€£π€£π
I didn't read this finish ππ I'm not a fan of football ππππ€¦
Sorry dear π ππ
I actually don't know what's wrong with the team either, they flattered to deceive at the start of the season, performed woefully mid way and got Ole the sack, a new manager has taken the reins although on an interim basis, but it's still the same old team. I hate seeing Chelsea players happy but sadly I have been receiving a lot of crazy Whatsapp messages asking me to celebrate their CWC success. It is just painful. Maybe we need to start from the scratch and go back to the basis. Maguire should be stripped of his captaincy, he hardly features in games without committing errors or being dribbled. It's crazy and it's pissing me off, the color of the problem is simply out of this WORLD.
Maguire is a terrible player. They hyped him too much because he is English. This team has been terrible and for Chelsea, it's a matter of time. They struggled against Palmeira... And even in the Semi. They would still struggle in the league.
I wish I can drop a Chelsea poster here. Currently, if Man u win a match and CR7 is on the pitch, they would say its because of him and if they loss, they would say the same thing, changing of team to support is not a bad idea, you can always join Chelsea βΊβΊ.. I come humbly
Even if they offer me Chelsea with a million Naira, I can never join.
Man u every match time.. Draw.. Chelsea won't cut your ticket.. Trust me
I have no hope in both π€£π€£π
I actually don't know any football team
Hahaha so sorry my friend. What sport do you like?
Manchester United was a good compititive side when David Beckham was leading it . I love that era of this club. Even now has good names in side but unfortunately misfiring .
They are terribly misfiring.
I was expecting the colors of problems to check what color is mine, lol..
Janey π€£ππππ€£π€£ don't kill me.
Am also a full fan of man united, I don't know why but they have been down lately and it wasn't supposed to be that way, we all have the one and only CR7... Well come to think of it we are not the only ones that has problem at the moment, Barcelona has been a mess ever since messi left lol.. The color of the problem might be red and brown ππ
π€£π€£π€£ππ€£π he said red and brown. That's true, Barcelona seem to be struggling too, even Juventus. I am just pained to see United struggle this bad.
Those ones problem na color riot ππ
He said colour riot πππ€£πππ€£
And I was wrong hahaa I thought itvwas about color meanings haha I get curious.
Hahahaha sorry that the title deceived you, my friend.
I used to love Manchester united a lot back then under Alex Ferguson, when we still have the likes of Rooney, Van Persie, lingard and Giggs, Man utd played spectacular football back then. But these days I just don't know what is going on with them. I left Manchester united when most of those old players left, I have been with Chelsea ever since and right now they are giving me joy. I love seeing Man utd fans in severe pains π
Then it's obvious you've never been a Man Utd fan... It's never easy to change your favourite club. You only liked them because they were winning back then. Let's see who you will join when Chelsea falters hahahaha. That team is in disarray and I've lost hope on them. Useless team π
I am never leaving Chelsea, I have been with them when they were at their worst (even worse than the current Man utd π)
Exactly why I said you've never been a Manchester United fan. It's never easy to change one's favourite club...
