Tips If You Want To Be A Call Center Agent.

Some people may ask you the same question, "How to be a call center? Can you give us tips?.", To be honest, the ONLY tip that I can give you is BE CONFIDENT. Why? Because being a call center agent needs a huge confident to continue to the journey that you will choose.

Once you're there, stop thinking that you can't do it. Because you really can do it.

Like me, during the first day of my training, I was asking myself if I applied to a correct call center because I find it hard and not so easy for me to understand. But I was wrong, there's always a room for improvement, and yes.

I remember when someone said, call center is the most easiest job, wait what? Who told you that being a call center was so easy? Being a agent was not easy, why? Because you need a huge patience when you will going to talk with your customers. Like, if you have an irate customer, press mute and breathe in, breathe out while cursing them on mute. Just kidding, even if it's mute the client can still hear what you're saying.

For those who wants to be a call center, just cursed them inside of your head hehe.

But don't listen to me, I'm just a lil psychopath where sometimes I'm murdering them inside my head especially when some one are so demanding. But yeah, when you want to back out, think about the things that you've gone through before handling a resignation letter or whatsoever because this days are so hard to look for a job that will going to accept you. And a job who's willing to pay huge enough for you to continue your training, because some of a call center will hire you but the expenses are all yours.

There's always a room for improvement, if you feel yourself that you're lacking something and need some improvements don't hesitate to ask someone to teach you how to do it. Because you wont improve without a guide or just practicing on your own you need someones opinion to know what is lacking and why isn't working.

In work you always need someone to guide you to familiarize everything dont hesitate to ask or dont be shy at all because that wont do anything at all.

Like me, when I'm confused about something, I'm always raising my hand and asking my trainer about this and that. Luckily, she's not getting angry or mad but instead she'll smile and start saying, "Go ahead I love questions."

What funny is, whenever that I am holding my notebook, she will looked at me like she already knew that I have a questions and yes, she got it correctly. I love asking questions especially when I'm confused, so I hope she did not get tired answering my question repeatedly.


I still have another tip that I can give you guys, it's about, COMMITMENT.

Before applying on a call center, think about, "Why I want to be a agent?.", You just can't say that it's because BPO was the first one who hired you and BPO was the first one who accepted you, that will not do. Find a reason why you want to be a call center agent so that the dedication inside you will fire up, it's not about the money, or the payslip that you can get from them. It's because you want to be part of it, because you really want to be part of it.

To be honest, when I first became an agent, I just told myself that I will be a agent only anf not dream about promotion. But now, I'm more than that.

I want to be a trainer, I also want to help everyone who wants to be part of a BPO.

It's not like that you will just be sitting there and answering call and solve what they want, no.. it's all about on how you can handle the stress and the anxiety if you knew that you can't go on or if you start thinking that, "No, this job ain't for me."

Always remember, that our dedication and hardwork will be the one who will help us to reach our goal.

But wait, there's more! Always remember the last part that I said, if this job is not meant for you, then think like, what if this job was really for you? Its just that it's so early for you to find out?
