wow I haven't been around for 19 hours now already OnO i was out with my cousins and we went to the mall. I'm pretty happy they still support artists around the local artists of the city. i should have joined the artist group before but then i remembered that i rarely paint. there was still more that i liked but I'll post those later

Just remembered what an artist friend said before: "just because it's shapes and random lines, doesn't mean they're abstract" because it's true. sometimes their Impressionism or even symbolism, you just need a different perspective to actually see what people want to show. anyways, here's the continuation of the paintings in the mall gallery we saw

Me as an artist: Uses 2-3 reference photos at a time because I like having my drawings look a certain way, the only struggle I have after is figuring out where to focus the lighting on and usually when I do that, I go eenie minie mo on a clock because each angle on a clock can lead to very different shading and highlighting directions for me XD that is all. I was curious about how you can eat amaranth because I've read that it's used as an antihistamine and it's also an edible plant. So apparently this purple flower we bought is a globe amaranth. When I was looking it up, I saw that it can be made into the prettiest tea OwO And I might actually try this when there are enough blooms to harvest

This apparatus is called a sohxlet. it's actually a makeshift one but this kind of instrument doesn't use fire. it only uses light to produce a steady stream of steam and we use it to get waxes off of leaves before we run it through either distillation or extraction motivation to study: So you can work in the laboratory again

This is one of the equipments we use in the laboratory too. This is called a rotary vaporator but it's good for controlled temperatures where your samples easily decompose. that's why we use it for extracting materials from plants

Back to my virtual laboratory tour and my introduction to laboratory instruments. This one is what we call a hydrolysis hood. It's mainly used as an air filter, actually. since we mostly use sulfuric acid for protein digestion and hydrolysis of fats, this machine is used to make sure that no fume is leaked. all the fume gets diffused into that blue scrubber solution and once the scrubber solution turns green, it means it should be replaced with new scrubber solution

Just farming corn while waiting for my review class to start. Well, this is basically all I ever do here but hey UwU at least 4 of my pets are at level 13 already because of these corn. And who knows how long it will take before I max out their levels. Hopefully I can max them out before the battle option becomes available for the game

I'm pretty excited for dinner since we'll be cooking food we don't usually cook while mother and the other sister aren't home OwO. We'll be making omelet rice (omurice) which is basically an omelet with rice filling; then tomorrow we can make veggie burgers! since it's been a while since we last had those

Class is done UwU so I'm back with my ink layering technique to make edward elric from full metal alchemist. but of course, this will take some time to do since i need to let the ink dry up with each layer. hopefully by tonight, I'll be on the detail layer so I won't be late for presentation day again

I was supposed to be working on this but then my youngest sister came up to me and asked me to teach her chemistry since she wanted to be a chemist too. And so 2 hours passed by and my drawing time is gone. So is the proportion on his face. aight, time to start from scratch tomorrow morning
