Late late happy new year, but still! A very happy and prosperous new year to everyone! I spent my whole holiday basically sleeping and cleaning since we needed to look after the house better I also made a dog bed for my doggies today and they really seem to love it

My dogs have been gifted with clotheeessss 🤣 I actually asked my cousin if he could get me our nephew's old baby clothes because the nephew is a little old now so he doesn't use these clothes anymore. Luckily they fit my dog so we'll be using these baby clothes for a long time

Since my training advancement... Idk I've been having a hard time being active and social again because this role level up in the lab uses more brain power than physical power since I'm constantly computing dilutions, calibration linearity and more technical stuff. I wonder if they're putting me in line for early regularisation or if they just think I'm really bored right now. Because until next week, I'm going to be stuck with the mercury samples

The ink painting dried faster 🤣🤣🤣 My drawing tablet is taking a while to charge still. I finished a painting before it even reached full charge. Anyways, I've been meaning to draw a plague doctor for a while now. So this was a good chance to get some traditional drawing time in. I'll just save my digital art for tonight

Paper is dried (I ironed it) and tablet is at 50% so I guess my digi time will be at night again. I'm enjoying the inking style I'm doing with this one. It's been a while since I used solid ink for anything. It kind of tempts me to buy a better quality dip pen tbh

My tablet is charging right now, because I forgot to charge it last night 😅 I was supposed to be drawing on digi again, but I guess the world is telling me to do a little traditional art so I don't forget. Currently drying my ink layer. I'll get back to this after an afternoon snack (lunch)

And so, I finally finished this thing yesterday. And I'm working on the other piece. Hopefully by tonight, I can also put it up then make a blog for it too before I go back to my lab life 🥲 I'm not excited to see the number of samples I have to work with tomorrow. I already left 56 samples in the balance room last Friday then there was 100+ samples that will be brought into the lab by Monday. Busy busy already, damn. I hope they at least get the fume hoods going
