Simplicity is beauty.

Do you recognize the saying above? I know all of us have heard it before or even up until now. Is there really beauty in being simple? Continue reading to find out.

What is Minimalism?

According to Cambridge Dictionary, Minimalism is a style in art, design and theater that uses the smallest range of materials and colors possible, and only very simple shapes or forms. From this meaning, we can say that minimalism is just being simple with purpose.

A Minimalist is someone who lives in the simplest way possible. Living life with just having the things she needs.

Just like having less furniture so she can have more space in her house. Purchased only those things that really matters to her. Less material things, fewer bills, fewer expenses, less stress.

So, where does beauty lies?

Some people may start thinking that a minimalist is weird. Imagine, living your life with fewer things. Some people might ask you why you choose this and why you don't have things like that. Then you started telling them about minimalism. And they will just ignore you, or sometimes contradict and shut you. But it doesn't matter because, in the end, people will always have to say anything about how you wanted your life to be lived. What matters is your commitment to what lifestyle you wanted to happen in your life.

Having less of anything is actually having more of something. Just think of how you handle your money. If you are going to buy only the things that are essentials, then you will realize that you have spare money that you can keep or invest. Less expense, more savings.

Another example you can consider is having less trustworthy and true friends equates to a better and peaceful life. Stay close with the people you trust, love and appreciate. Those people will help you live a more meaningful life. Less stressor, more peace of mind for you.

It is like living a life like a billionaire who can buy everything, anything you want. Like mansions, sports cars, high ends gadgets and appliances. You can buy everything from the most expensive breakfast meal up to the most luscious midnight snacks to satisfy your cravings. But you are alone and lonely. No one to be with, to eat with. Living in a house that can never be called home. From what I always hear, money can't buy genuine happiness. It can't buy real love and care.

Having too much of everything is never good for anyone. Remember that before things become as complicated and advanced as they are now, they all started by being just simple.

Now tell me, does having less mean more to you now?

My Thoughts

I strongly believe that less is more. This year try to check the things you have, or persons you are associated with. Stop spending your time, your energy on undesirable things, people. You owe yourself a peaceful, happy and stress-free life.

It's our life if we are belong in the minimalism it's our own choice. The others don't have a right to enter that one. For me minimalism give us a lot of advantages. As long as we are happy for it just continue it's our own life.

Yes, that's why I prefer to have some circle of friends because I'm sure they are trustworthy. They are real and always with me to support in my life. Always give a colorful life for me.
