Purity Does Not Refer To Virginity.

This time, I wanted to go further into the truth and uncover how God healed me from my prior terrible experiences.

I'm more passionate about sharing on my site certain uncomfortable things that people are scared to talk, because I feel that if we expose what the adversary is trying to use against us and share it with the world, we can help someone who is fighting the war alone.

As a result, this is a candid discussion with those ladies who are silently afraid of being judged by their family and friends since they are no longer virgins. I believe that because of the purity culture and the fact that we live in a "conservative environment," particularly in some Christian churches, people are reluctant to address purity and sex in our generation—despite the fact that it is a current issue. I hope we don't expose our children to the beauty of sex through pornographic websites, perverse novels, and movies. In marriage, God created sex in a good, honorable, and loving way. But for those women like me, who failed to protect their virginity along the way, as I've said, Jesus will not condemn you because of what you've done, rather He will help you come out from the pit of that darkness. He will meet you as you are but He will change and transform you to be the woman who will touch lives and generations to come. But, as I've stated, Jesus will not blame you for what you've done; rather, He will assist you come out of the abyss of that darkness. He will meet you just as you are, but He will change and transform you into the woman who will have a lasting impact on the lives of future generations.

So, if you'll excuse me, I implore you to join us in this battle.

  • Purity is a heart issue.

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8)

God prefers to know your heart, whether you're a virgin or no longer are.

When you've sinned and continue to live in sin, it's a different story.

  • Daily repentance is needed.

"Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19)

Replace the excuse "I'm just a human" with "I'm saved by Jesus, so I'll do what honors Him."

My heart bleeds for individuals who let their history to dictate their behavior. No, the Gospel makes it clear that we are saved not by our good actions, but by believing that Jesus has saved us and that we can live a new, refreshing, and distinct life as a result of that belief.

It's never too late for men and women who have experienced premarital sex or sexual abuse to turn to Jesus, as I have. Confess your sins to God and a Christian mentor who can help you heal. The crime of hatred. Hate sin the way God hates it.

  • If a guy or woman cannot understand that you are no longer a virgin from the past, I believe he or she is unworthy of your present and future.

Someone recently questioned, "How did you accept and trust that a man will love you now that you're no longer a virgin?"

Dear women, I believe that true love does not exist if a man merely loves or likes you for the things he wants from you. I can attest to this since I've counseled and discipled a number of young women who are frightened that if a man learns about their past, he will forsake them. Many testimonies on the internet and in our church reveal that a godly man is brave enough to accept you for who you are and what you've been through, who will respect your boundaries today and honor you in the future. I've heard numerous testimonies online and in our church that a godly guy is courageous enough to embrace who you are and what you've been through, who will respect your boundaries now, and who will honor you as Jesus did.

I believe I've already located that individual, and I'm currently praying for him.

When Jesus met the Samaritan woman at the well, He knew she was yearning for fulfillment, contentment, and acceptance that no one else can provide save for Him. He is the living water who has the power to resurrect us and make us as white as snow. Stop yearning for a man's affection because it won't complete you, don't go from one relationship to the next because it won't help you heal, and don't date while you're still recovering from your trauma.

Women, our culture, or others may have criticized you because of your past, but their opinions are irrelevant because there is only ONE TRUTH you should trust, and that is the truth that comes from Jesus.

Good one. Our culture emphasizes virginity too much. Women aren't dumb cattle to be prodded or property to be appraised. We can lose our virginity through mishaps like sports and such. I do agree promiscuity is frowned upon in Christianity but God doesn't condemn those who repented and cleaned up their act.

It's all about your true intentions. To love someone is to accept him/her as a whole including the imperfections.

I totally agree with this. Purity isn't about virginity. It's about the condition of pur hearts. We can be virgin but not pure.

I agree not because I no longer a virgin. I agree kasi totoo naman. Tayo lang mga tao dito ang gumawa ng pananaw tungkol sa pagiging virgin ng mga kababaihan through their genitals.

Before I really thought that when you are a virgin then you are pure but I got it all wrong, what matters is what comes from the heart.

Purity is something that comes from your heart. If people are kind, we can resolve almost all of the world's problem like trafficking, hunger, war, etc.

Hmmm. Thank you for this. I learnt that it is good to be more accepting and not look down on people because of their past mistakes.
