A Lot of Eating Invitations for Sunday!
It was Friday when I posted this article: I am Glad I Said Yes to Going Out with Hubby and Matti!. On that day, we went out and decided to get Matti out of the house more often. So on Saturday, we did get out of the house again, let me tell you of the things that happened on the weekend!
Thanks lovies!The weekend had been dedicated to the Lord, and my husband and I committed ourselves to serve our local church as a service to the Lord as well. On Saturday, two of our young people came early since we will start with our discipleship sessions but first, we had agreed we will clean the church first.
My husband, Matti, and I together with the two young people went to church at 8:30 AM. We cleaned up the sanctuary, mopped the floor, as well as did some revisions on the chair arrangements at the back area for the kids. We finished cleaning at ten in the morning. We ate some snacks and started with our introduction to this discipleship session. It was the first one so we only discussed a few things including their expectations.
Then there was another youth member who arrived afterward and they practiced some instruments. These young people wanted to learn how to play the guitar, drums, and the keyboard. Shortly before lunch, our church pastor arrived together with his wife and they replaced our old keyboard with a new Yamaha brand, it looks really nice.
Lunch came, we had a simple fellowship and ate our lunch, I asked them to just bring their rice and we will buy the viand. We all enjoyed our time together. Then the other young people started to arrive for their Saturday Bible Study with our pastor.
Then the praise and worship practice happened after. Matti was sleeping so the husband decided that we bring him home. The husband went back to church for the practice as he plays the guitar and then by around four in the afternoon, he picked us up so we can go around the neighborhood again.
We tried to go to the lot that we bought but the road was under construction so we decided to go to Cabantian Hills instead we had a stopover at the shore area and watched the sea. We didn't go to the hills anymore but just pulled over to an area that has wide grassy land so Matti could walk and run around.
I consider that as a simple picnic, I was on sitting on the grass with some chips and milk tea while the husband was shooting again some videos, Matti kept on running as well while following his father. I was watching them from afar. We stayed there for quite a while and then decided to go home after.
By Sunday, we were 30 minutes earlier than the schedule. It's an achievement because we had been struggling with coming to church past nine in the morning. I woke up earlier than usual and went to cook breakfast too!
The service went on and the message was about Revelation chapter 19. It talks about the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. It is a very nice message and it gives hope to those who trust the Lord.
After the service, we went home and had lunch. We were back to church by 1 PM because of the Ladies Servants in Christ Ministry meeting. My husband also has a homiletics session too.
We also celebrated the May and June birthday celebrants in church!
We finished at three in the afternoon, then there was an invitation for the first death anniversary commemoration of one of our church members. Then after the quick service, we also have another invitation for the 71st birthday celebration of one of our church members as well. Aside from that, my cousin also invited us for their church anniversary.
However, we have to decline because we were already on the way to the birthday event instead. It was a long day, Matti was a little exhausted but quite enjoyed his time with the rest of the kids who were at the events too.

Ang daming ganap ate pero okay yan nagbibbigay time makapag samba. Kami eh hindi na gaano lalo na ako dahil agnostic atheist na me but still, i do respect naman some religion. Hubby ko ay nakikinig din ng simba sa radyo.
