Blessed February 10th! π
Hello beautiful people!
I hope you all are doing fine amidst of the shortcomings and uncertainties we may feel day by day. Always remember that a positive life is a happy life. β¨
Every 10th of the month is only a normal day for me. Eventhough it is our payday, there's nothing special about it aside from sending money to our loved ones for their needs. Well as for me, payday is just a transfer day. You know, paying bills. One time, money is on my hand. And the second thing I know, it already disappeared. That fast! But its okay. That's how it is.
Well yesterday's our payday. We decided to apply for a Postal ID for at least we'll have a valid one as the National ID is not yet delivered. We got the requirements ready so that when we get there, we're just going to pass it right away. However, since we are just renting they require us to get a Barangay Certificate. So we ended up not able to apply. Maybe next time? But you know, I encountered one thing. Why getting a valid ID, requires a valid ID? And how true is it that the National ID is not a primary/valid ID? I have a friend here that when they were given relief goods because of the Typhoon Odette, they were asked for a valid ID and when they gave the National ID it was not accepted as it is not a valid one because it does not have a signature. How true is that? Did you experienced the same? I mean, how could be a said National ID not a valid one?
Well since we weren't able to apply successfully, we just decided to take our lunch. We went to Tokyo Tokyo - a Japanese Restaurant.
We just took our late lunch there for about 45 minutes, when we saw an old man walking past us looking so hungry. I asked mamii Jheah to approach him because he really seemed not to have lunch yet. Mamii asked him if he has eaten yet, and we are right that he is not. He has 20 pesos and he is trying to look for food that only worth that amount. Like if you're inside the mall, for sure you're really not be able to look for one. We felt bad for Tatay, so we decided to order food for him and give him fare back home. We weren't able to ask more questions about him as we as well running out of time as we still need to buy some groceries. Before we left, we asked one of the crew that if Tatay can't eat everything they will just pack the remaining foods for Tatay's take out. Hopefully it made him full and that he can go home safely.
Then we head straight to the supermarket to buy everything we need at home. We paid about 5000 pesos, but it is okay as we are five sharing the amount. We actually just paid around 700 each as some of the goods are for personal use of each one of us.
Then it seems that we did not spent a lot of time doing groceries, we decided to do some window shopping. Literal window shopping. Lol!
That's us trying out glasses in Penshoppe. And yes, since we're just having window shopping we did not buy it. And of course the main reason we do not have spare money anymore. No to budol. Lol!
And there we head home.
And when I get home, I received a very nice message from the company.
This is an approval of the application I applied for for a cash assistance due to Typhoon Odette. The application actually took more than a month and I am really thankful that it was approved. The money was not sent yet, but at least I am expecting something that can really help me in building our new home. Thank you Lord! The amount is $195. It is already big for me as it really can help in buying some materials. The progress is slow, but I know slow progress is still a progress. Soonest, I'll be having a house I can call mine. Thank you Lord!
And that's how my payday went. I just realized that I have a very blessed February 10th! π
That's all for today beautiful people. If you have any thoughts about this, feel free to leave it in the comment section below. Let's interact. Stay safe always! Xoxo β¨βΊοΈ

Daming blessings! It's not surprising since you have a generous heart. Kudos sa pagtulong nyo kay Tatay.
Same same sa sahod. Ni di na nga nahahawakan kasi pay lahat online lol!
Kung sino mang may idea ng national ID na yan, dapat gawan nila yan ng paraan na maging acceptable sa lahat ng transactions. I pa tulfo na yan!
