About Eating Meat
Some readers noticed that I wrote somewhere about vegetarianism, and wondered if there is any health benefit in eating meat, and whether I think it is natural or not.
This is an important and interesting subject, somewhat controversial too. It definitely deserves more than a casual attention.
This is my opinion, not everyone will share it.
Let us first discuss mammal meat.
Mammal Meat
From a medical point of view, it would be hard to find eating it being of any benefit whatsoever. It is a strain to the body and provides nothing valuable that cannot be better obtained from other sorts of food.
Our teeth and our gastric juices are not made to chew or digest meat, and our digestive channel is too long for it. So long that the meat rots in the intestines, thus producing toxins that strongly contribute to the gradual development of degenerative disease.
The fat from mammals is of the most harmful sort, which contributes maximally to the building up of cardiovascular disease; the proteins acidify the body and accelerate ageing. (Acidity & Acidification Part 1; Degenerative Disease)
According to recent research, "read meat" (unlike "white meat") contains substances that imitate female sexual hormones. I previously described how hormone imitating substances are harmful to health. (The Feminisation of Nature)
Some people would object and say that meat is natural to us, because we have always been eating it. I do not agree. I doubt that humans did eat meat before they used tools (to hunt and to kill the prey), and before they were able to "control" and use fire. And that would mean that we evolved without eating meat, and that doing so would rather be an abuse of our body for the purpose of survival when other food was insufficient.
This is not entirely negative. To survive as a species, in times or environments where we would otherwise have died by starvation, we lived contrary to our nature. The cost we had to pay was that we began to develop certain diseases, but that was the payment for surviving. As so often in history, we had to sacrifice quality of food for quantity of food in order to survive, which I previously described. (Why Dietary Supplements are Needed) But it's foolish to keep bad habits when they no longer serve any constructive purpose at all. As of today, when other, better food is almost always available and meat is no means to keep starvation at bay, it is hard to find any reason to eat it.
If eating meat were natural for us, we would be able to hunt, catch, kill and eat our prey without tools or fire - with only feet, hands and teeth.
If you still want to eat meat, game is normally better than "cultivated" livestock or any form of domestically raised animal. The reason for this has been discussed earlier. (Why Dietary Supplements are Needed)
As for the meat industry today, it is a disgusting activity that has nothing to do with life. It is an artificial production of bio-material - food of a very low quality. And the moral problems that are associated with it are insurmountable.
Fish
Fish differs from mammal meat. It is easier to digest, and its fat contains beneficial fatty acids, which protect against cardiovascular disease and a number of other ailments.
Unfortunately, fish is much exposed to environmental pollution, so in order to eat it, it is important to know from where it comes; if it is a sea that is sufficiently clean.
Most toxic substances are deposited in the fat, so fat fish (herring, salmon, mackerel) contains more of the good fatty acids, but it is more prone to contain more toxic waste as well.
Eggs
Eggs are germinal food (Germinal Food = Superfood) and would be almost perfect, if they did not tend to rot in the intestines. They are very likely to have been a part of human natural diet very early. Then consumed raw, of course.
Industrially produced eggs can contain considerable amounts of toxic waste; and eating them raw is not recommendable, due to the risk of infection. So from a health point of view, they are best eaten boiled.
Poultry
Poultry occupies a position in between mammal meat and fish. While it is relatively low in fat if you remove the skin, and the level of dangerous saturated fat is comparatively low, it is easy to destroy it in the preparation. Add to that terrible industrial breeding, a stressed environment and a lot of chemical toxins.
Chicken and turkey are generally better than goose or duck, but I would advise you to keep consumption low, unless you breed them yourself and control the whole chain of feeding and growing them.
It is also essential to prepare them in a way that does not make them even more unhealthy. Be careful which sort of fat you add!
Poultry requires heat for its preparation and is not a part of a natural human diet. But if properly prepared, it is easier to digest than mammal meat, although not as easy as fish. The composition of fatty acids is also better than in mammal meat, but not as good as in fish.
Rotting
The repeatedly mentioned intestinal rotting, a risk we face with all animal protein, can be reduced or eliminated if we combine certain foodstuffs. Generally, raw starch prevents it, as does lactic acid, garlic and many strong spices.

Excellent article. I remember years ago I visited an herbalist after an intestinal paralysis. He pointed out to me that meat was killing me. So, I reduced my meat intake and consumed more grains. Since then my health has improved dramatically.
Yes, our design definitely differs from that of carnivores.
