Killing One Bird In One Stone

Lovely day? Was it sunny or rainy? I have heard the news yesterday and is a Low Pressure Area and there might be 2 typhoons coming up. Hmmm, typhoon on a summer season? Let's see after a few days. Anyway, Holy week is coming up, what are your plans?

We don't have a plans for this coming Holy Week or summer but my parents will go to Bicol for the Holy Week procession for our family tradition. Bicol is my father's hometown by the way and we go there every Holy Week (at least we used to and I hope that we can still go back there soon, family problems you know).

Anyway, some of you might have passed by my previous article Too Many Things at a Time. We can't deny that some of us, specially users who's on @Read.Cash for years, have been experiencing anxiety in writing articles. Hey, don't get me wrong this also happens to vloggers, content creators or influencers. Imagine running out of ideas or you have so much ideas but you can't find how it can all fit in or how are you going to make it work.

I've also mentioned that it was a bad, oh rather sad, week last week. I have thoughts on my mind that I can't seem to organize and too much tasks to do that my body can't seem to work on it. I'd rather stare in a blank space or sometimes I notice myself spacing out while carrying Lil B. Sorry. But with the help of my friends, I have to act now so the feeling of helplessness, neediness, tiredness, won't last long.

Good thing I was able to manage and finally decide on what things I need to do. Again, I always feel like 24hrs is not enough for a day. Oh mothers, how can we fit all those things in 24hrs. I salute to all mothers out there too!

Going back, I decided to take a deep breath and kill one bird with one stone. Multi-tasking doesn't always work for a person who multi-tasks. I say, it depends on their physical and mental state.

Since it's the last day of the week, I somehow find myself a little bit productive. Let me just do a recap so I can also have a reference for myself.

• Booked a church for Lil B's baptism

I visited 2 churches to check the available dates for Lil B's baptism. Sadly the nearest church that was just 5 minutes away or walking distance from our home was already fully booked for the weekend slots. I have to go to the other nearest church the next day to check and good thing I decided to bring the requirements that I didn't expect that they will need. Luckily, the date that we want wasn't taken yet and right there, I immediately booked it for reservation.

• Finished my Theoretical Driving Course

I think I will post about this soon once I already have my certification :)

• Assist my mother for the Holy week event

We were kind of having problems since our Lola died a month ago, we all thought that the family will not be able to go back to Bicol due to certain circumstances. I think our Mother Dolorosa, did work her wonders so that the family can still go back to Bicol. I assisted my mother to collect donations from our relatives as most us (aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings) used to go there all together, it was a family tradition.

• Go back to my read.cash writing routine.

I am slowly going back to my routine. I think felt a bit demotivated last week to write here because I don't know where I can slide the time to write, which I still managed to do somehow. Come to think of it, now that I have finished some of the tasks that I needed to do I can now go back to my routine. YEY!

• Celebrated my birthday too

Oh yea, I celebrated my 'Last date of the calendar' birthday HAHAHAH! I remembered my niece's reaction when she was about to blow the candle and noticed that it was me who blew it, she said 'yaw, yaya blow cake 😶😐😑😔'

One thing that I find it hard to do is to leave Lil B to my parents or sister when I needed to run an errand. It's not sepanx (separation anxiety) but I feel like I am asking so much favor to them. Which I don't usually do, on the other hand I can get to do a little bit of me time but I always have that fear of they might bring it up to me (sumbat) if we fight.

Today, we'll go ahead to my bestfriend's how so we can take a little swim. Well, that's going to be our little getaway for this summer/rainy summer season.
