Good evening my read.cash family. How are you guys doing? Had a good day, I suppose?, I certainly hope so. My day was pretty routine; wake up, get ready for school, supposed to receive a class that never held, work the farm and headed home at about noon time. I have been on battery saver mode since, both my phone and I; my phone as a result of @Mhizutty taking my charger home and myself as a result of lack of resources to cook😂😂.
Well, she has generously brought my charger and someone is generously cooking something that I can eat from, God be praised😂
Blind man nor dey lead blind man - Unknown
Ever so often we see people in leadership position crucified by those they lead for their style of leadership, "lack of achievement" etc. This is something that we see in all form of leadership setting, be it a democracy, autocracy, monarchy or what have you.
Those in power have to face these kind of criticism on a daily basis everywhere they go, in their presence and absence, despite how they might feel about it and most at times, they learn to live with it ( learning to live with it is quite different for different leaders. A democratically elected official will either try to see the problem or ignore it, a monarch will ignore it or have the person from whom the criticism is coming punished, while an autocrat will most likely have the person executed by firing squad or have them whooped in public😂).
Most at times, especially in the developing and underdeveloped world, these criticism comes in the form of unintelligently harsh words that causes one to wonder if the intent is to educate the person it is direct at to do better, or to insult and humiliate the person.
Howbeit, most times these people are not really deserving of those harsh words, as the thing(s) in question might be beyond them or the resource available, and sometimes could be the fault of those whom they have delegated duties to, but I guess at the end of the day, the buck falls on their table.
For example, Nigeria as a country is technically at war with bandits and terrorists, and today people blame the inadequacy of the federal government to deal with it. But some will argue that the President has made available to the military and their Chiefs all the necessary war platforms, equipment, and weapons; nonetheless the terrorists and bandits continue to have a field day every single day.
These people will argue that it is the military Chiefs who are at fault, and not the President, an argument that their opponents will quickly counter by saying it's his responsibility to appoint and remove them when the need arises as is the case right now.
This attitude of wanting to criticise leaders whether necessary or not, is quite partly responsible for the recurrent incident of electing defective leaders into offices just because they just want the current one gone. It's a stupid case of "the angel you don't know is better than the devil you do know" and quite sadly a flawed mentality. This has constantly being the bane of development in a lot of organisations and nations as people who know what to do are removed because of the price at which the needed improvement are going to be attained, and replaced by those who know nothing about what they are going to be handling.
The result of such an arrangement is that of a clueless person leading the bunch to failure and makimg an already bad situation far worse. The reason I started thinking about this whole thing is because I see it happen everyday at my school's experimental farm and it was 100% responsible for the colossal failure of my group's fisheries project yesterday. Now we are going to have to spend money ( that I don't have ) to do it all over again and it hurts to know this could easily have been avoided if the right people were allowed to handle the whole thing.
Closing Thoughts
This is also applicable to a lot of leadership position, where the appointment of clueless people cause things to get worse and at the end of the day, everybody suffers!! It is a sad reality of our time.

At some point, we also have mistake, as we mistakenly voted a wrong leader. It is also our responsibility to choose a right leader, so now the election is upcoming be wise in voting.
