Several weeks ago, I wrote an article about my cousin who suffered from painful childhood, coming from the abuse and maltreatment of her father. As our extended family often talk several days weekly or during Sundays, we share news and developments between us. This aims to be the continuation of her experience. If you want to know about the entire story, you may want to start out here: A Cousin Ruined by Family Problems

I thank you all for your generosity. More BCH to come!

Bored and Unfulfilled 30s

She endured decades of boredom when she stopped studying for college, as her father told her to not study education as a profession. This resulted into a massive consequence because not only she got bored and unproductive, but also losing the opportunity to work considering that being a teacher requires extensive knowledge, discipline, and ethics.

Staying at home, she only does household chores, watching tv, and listening to music, which is a typical rest day activities to people who work or study during the weekdays that can make someone receiver from busy activities. However, this is not the case for her as this daily activities do not contribute to her own personal growth, and not being able to communicate with other people compromises her social skills.

Signs of Aggression and Depression

Within the span of the past 5 years, it became apparent that ate Jobelle was fed up with the boredom, lack of growth, and the wounds of her past still haunting her.

There are several instances that she showed aggression, depression, and being close-minded to her own family as well as to her relatives and other people. She smashed the expensive computer monitor of her brother due to misunderstanding. Of course the older brother got mad and knocked her out of home for several hours.

Her parents, who are old enough did not escape the wrath of their daughter. An incident happened where she strangled her mom because of a small argument about the food that she didn't liked. This caused an intervention from the neighbors and barangay officials, and she even said to the officials that they have no manners and uneducated after they scolded her.

As for her deep grudge and hate towards the father, there are times she was bullying him that he's weak and mentioned he will die soon quickly. Since her father suffered stroke, hypertension, and kidney problems, he had difficulties walking and communicating. According to her mother, she said that their house will burn into ashes if her own family will not obey or cooperate. Unfortunately, in the August of 2019 her father passed away and she even "celebrated" it.

Addressing her mental health problems

We had a nighttime conversation as a whole family last 2 years ago here in our home, during Christmas reunion. We were talking about the sadness and depression and opened up our feelings to relieve ourselves. As we mentioned that we would like to go into a mental health institution to heal, she didn't like this and declared that there's no way she'll end up there.

Around March 2021, the rollout of some vaccines came into their place. My aunt and some cousins had a brilliant plan to finally end her suffering: Trick her into going for vaccination, but only to end up in a mental health facility. To make this work, they will all go as a family with the use of my other cousin's vehicle. This will make it believable and raise her confidence that she's safe.

As they landed into the facility, she realized that it was all set-up. Escape is now impossible as her family and hospital staff got hold of her and immediately injected a sedative. For several hours she fell asleep and unconscious. After waking up, her mother comforted her and she asked, "what happened? Why am I here?" Her mom embraced in response and ate Jobelle finally replied with a warm hug. The doctors said that she will need to go back in sessions to cure her mental health problems.

Crypto Got Her Back

Two weeks ago, we received a news from her mom that she's doing great. And now, being jobless is not a problem anymore as her brother helped her earn money through playing a blockchain game, where she earns commission. The daily earnings reach $3-$5 daily. The curious catto in me asked what game it is and he mentioned it was CryptoBlades. Well, it would take more investment for me to start and I would focus on Splinterlands instead lols.

We are glad that she's back on track again after decades of suffering. Slowly but surely her wounds from the past will heal with time, and more opportunities await her in the crypto world. Who knows, she might become a 1BCH holder next time.

Thank you very much for hearing my cousin's painful story, coming to an end.

Until next time!

Buti nga at di niya din naisip na kunin ang sarili niyang buhay noon. May times kase na mag-isa lang siya sa bahay.

Her frustrations and helplessness drove her to the edge. I cannot blame her. As I said before I feel sorry for her that this happened but let's just focus on her getting better. I hope she continues to be on the mend.

She had a strong soul and mind that it only led her to those frustrations. Others might have taken their life instead.

Hiii, sobrang sorry nararamdaman ko sakaniya. I'm also abused when I was still a kid by my own nephew na mas matanda sakin and sa asawa ng ninang ko. i was totally tormented dahil rin sa biktima akk ng sexual harassment, pero walang nakinig sakin because of that. Inabot ng years bago ako mag totally healed.
