Wake Up: Mother Earth Needs Our Help

FridayScientists are crying and begging, and so with the earth. Haven't you noticed yet the things that are happening? Climate change, global warming, and others. Open up your eyes for you to see the bigger picture. It isn't a joke. Immediate action is needed for this isn't just for our own good sake, but for the earth and for the young and future generations to see and enjoy the world we live in. We are warned and so we should not just take it for granted.

For the past few days, I have been reading a lot of posts all over the social media about scientists begging already to open up the eyes of the public because it is our planet, the place we live in, which is under catastrophe, has been saturated with emissions that are caused by humans. I am not a scientist, but I am a human being, and I am very concerned about the future of our planet. The planet has become our patient, and we have become doctors. Thus, we should do everything to save it.
We should not just focus on the economy, because what will be its use when the world is already falling apart? So to stop it from happening, it's time to think about it and prioritize it. Because if not, our climate will continue to break down. It would be then unfair to future generations if we let it happen. Only God knows what's going to happen in the future, but know that we can at least do actions that could help the earth breathe. It is not a drill. It's happening and we should not let our eyes be blind to disregard these things as if we are not experiencing and feeling its effects.
I remember an activity given to us. We are tasked with writing a poem, and I have chosen climate change as my topic. Actions could speak louder than words, that's true. But we should not also underestimate the power of words. Let it be known by others and raise awareness, and accompany it by doing actions. Be it small or large, it would still create an impact.

Climate change isn’t a small problem
Listen up and try to be solemn
The signs to take action have been given
So, don’t let the world collapse and befallen.
Together, let’s save the world we live in
Be good to nature and stop being mean.
Climate action is what we need to do to win
Plant more trees to make the world go green.

Make things go right before the 2030 deadline
This is for the next generation so make it fine.

Climate change is indeed very alarming.
Hello, let’s continue caring
The beautiful world that we live in.
Stop burning plastics and cutting trees
Instead, start planting new seedlings.
It’s not a joke, you know these things
Conserve energy instead of wasting.
Together, let’s save the world we live in
Be good to nature and stop being mean.
It’s our responsibility to win this thing
Reduce, reuse and practice recycling.
So wake up now, everyone
Now’s the time to be as one
Make things go right before the 2030 deadline
This is for the next generation so make it fine.
By being together as one and by doing things necessary to help, we could make ripples turn into waves. Because our micro efforts, no matter how little they are, could make a big difference when aggregated.
Stop burning fossil fuels, plastics, and the like. Start planting more trees and make the world greener. Focus on natural solutions and together, let's be as one. We can help our ecosystem bounce back. We can still fix this. Everyone can still do the right things and make things right.
You may say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us. And the world will live as one.
