Wait, what?

We have moments when we felt we are just a balloon swaying as the wind blows in any direction. Full of air and nothing inside but vacuum. Those are the moments when we also feel we forget to bring our brains with us, and in connection, we will somehow lose our senses.

"Yun bang lutang ka at di mo alam kung dala mo ba talaga utak mo o sadyang careless ka lang". Lol.

I have experienced moments that are funny but quite annoying. I felt like I was an air-headed potato because everything that was said to me seemed like easily to be forgotten. Like when grandpa told me to buy salt, I would buy sugar instead. Like when I am about to get something from my bag but then I forgot what to get. I also wore slippers that aren't in pair.

I don't know but I am certain we all went through that moment. Maybe in different ways but still it's counted as one of our 'lutang moments' (floated moments) as what was indicated in the challenge.

My lutang moments (floated moments)

I called my teacher "nanay" (mother, mom, mommy)

I was in elementary when I accidentally called my teacher, nanay. Haha! My classmates really laughed hard because they heard clearly what I said. It was my Math Teacher and we are having Math class. My teacher called me to answer the word problem on the board but then I knew myself that I am not good in Math for heaven's sake. I was really nervou because why not? Lol Unconsciously, I told this to my teacher:

I can't answer that Nay. I need time to solve it first in my chair.

Though that's not really awkward but I consider it as one of my lutang moments. Haha! Have you also experienced this one?

I put sugar instead of iodized salt

I was cooking fried rice when I unknowingly sprinkled the sugar instead of iodized salt. It was for breakfast and I need to hurry my cooking since grandpa needs to be at work early so he needs to eat early too. It was still so early so I was really sleepy. I prepared the spices the rice and all. When it was the time to enhance the flavor, I put sugar instead of salt. I was so wrong because I did not tasted it before giving to grandpa. To my surprise, grandpa puked all the fried rice in his mouth. Only then I realized that I put sugar when he told me it's sweet. I feel so bad because grandpa just went to work without eating. After that, my grandma never let me cook again.

Forgot to wear undies

I was in college already when this happened. Oh dear batch mates who are in here, please don't laugh at me hard. Hahaha!

Every Monday, we need to attend the Flag ceremony which I think starts at 7:15 in the morning. Failure to attend shall have a fine of 50 pesos if I remember it right. Well, this doesn't apply to all students in the university. This is a consensus in one our subjects. If we will come to school early, then we will not pay, right?

Afraid of getting a fine, I hurriedly prepare for school which made me forgot to wear underwear. Lol. I did not even notice it not until I went to the comfort room. 😂 Sorry!

I called my grandma "love"

It was when I was so busy texting with my ex. He was so funny that even when the call was ended, I still about him. Our term of endearment for each other was "love". Just right after our call, my grandma called me and told me to cook rice. I didn't want to but she will get mad and we won't have something to eat too. So I hastened and asked her --

How many cups of rice shall I cook, love? (pila man ka takos dung agon love?)

That was so awkward hearing myself called my grandma that way. Haha! And I know she knows that's our endearment between me and my ex.

I told my crush I like him

I had a lot of crushes when I was in elementary but there's this one boy who kept on making fun of me like he wanted to get my attention. He was handsome, with big eyes but not so, he has also fair skin. What I like most about him was the way he looks. He wore complete uniform which is so neat to look at. One time me and my friends are having snacks under the pine tree. I was not aware he joined us too. My friends knew I had a crush on that man so they asked me who my crush was, so I answered them with that boy's name and everyone was teasing me because that boy heard it too. Omg!

I almost kissed my god-brother

I won't tell what happened but I was just like a grass that time who just went along as the wind blows. Haha!

I had a lot in mind but I am so sleepy. We went through a lot of trips today which made me tired. So I guess this should be the end for now.

Those moments even some of them are embarrassing are so wonderful to look back. Some of them turned into lessons and some just turned into jokes. Without those moments, we will not be who we are today for they are part of us. What's even nice is that we have something to tell to our kids and grandkids someday.
