Update on The Patronage

The Patronage started as a weekly project where nominations are announced on Wednesdays and users are encouraged to nominate at most 2 users with the most nominated users announced on Sundays as the beneficiaries for the week. We have had 5 round and 10 beneficiaries since the so far. The Patronage project temporarily came to a halt about two weeks ago due to my ill health. Though I have not fully r covered from the illness, I feel well enough to pick up from where I stopped.

I have been able to send compensatory tips to the last two beneficiaries @Heruvim78 and @Steve_BA of the week 5 of the Patronage. This signals to resumption of the Patronage project

The announcement for the sixth round of the Patronage project will be posted tomorrow, Friday November 20. I look forward to nominations from users.

What is the Patronage?

The Patronage is an initiative geared towards encouraging and supporting writers who are trying to get on their feet. I do think my support might do its little share to encourage and motivate one or the other writer and help them to get started and continue publishing good content

How to Nominate?

The nomination round is usually announced on Wednesdays. Nomination is only valid when made in the comment section of the weekly call nomination post.

To nominate:

1. Like the call for nomination post (optional)

2. Mention the correct username of not more than two users you wish to nominate in the comment section, giving reasons for the nomination.

3. Mention some users inviting them to nominate. You can as well promote your nominees by telling your friends to nominate them.

The nomination round is open up till Sunday, when the two nominees with the highest nominations will be announced as the week's beneficiaries.

The benefits for beneficiaries

• The two beneficiaries will automatically gain a new subscriber as I will subscribe each of them.

• They will get sponsorship offer from me.

• Then the grand prize which is tips on 7 articles published within week of been The Patronage's beneficiary

Benefits for Participating in the Nomination Round

All eligible nominations by users will be tipped by me. The amount will vary based on the nature of your nomination comment. The users who first nominated the winners will get double tips.

As stated earlier the Patronage project will be continued and the nomination round of the week 6 will be announced tomorrow and I hope for more participation from users.

There are many ways you can support us:

• Participating in the nomination round. You can participate by nominating users - who you think needs or deserve the support - in the comment section of the weekly nomination post

• Tipping or donating to the initiative. You can also send tips to help support the beneficiaries, it will also help to increase the amount. You can also follow the beneficiaries or visit their posts to show some love.

• Promoting The Patronage initiative. You can do this by making a short post about it or linking the nomination posts in tour articles.

Note that this is not the nomination post, so there will be no need to nominate users on this post.
