It could be the same with the articles written on publishOx. There the time shows how long it could possibly take to read the article depending on the length. Although sometimes the timing aren't accurate

This is good Read.cash is now improving and that function also be useful to know the average time we need to read it. But I wish other people don't ignore if they see the 6min average time .
I notice recently but don't know to whom did the read.cash system computed it? To the writers spending time writing? Or to the power users spending time reading? It will be a surprise party. Hehehe

I think it could be founded maybe on words in the article I noticed it is missing on short posts and in one article where is small amount of words just my artwork, there is <1min. I think people are looking at artworks for longer time in general....
The reading time feature was added few hours ago. And you can only see it before you opened the article. Just below the article metrics and next to the author's username

I noticed on some posts 1 minutes, 2 minutes, 6 minutes.
Yes. That's what I refer to
The time set is just for a certain amount of words. 1minute read can have 3 words but 30 as well. Same if it comes to the difference between a 2 and 3 minute read. If you ask me a 3 minute read starts with 600 words (or more and there's a big range in words if it comes to the 2 minute read. Btw some people read fast, others slow and it depends on the vocabulary too how fast one can read.
