Some men made history, simply by daring to walk uncertain paths. Their stories seem so unbelievable that we often wonder if they were truly wise or, they just got lucky. Marc de Mesel: The man we have come to know as a crypto legend, a fervent advocate for the new currency is one of such men who we believe have a prophetic and true foresight, something that helped catapult him upwards.
The man called Marc De Mesel
@MarcDeMesel lost his parents at a young age and was raised in Belgium, Europe. A small country whose image comes to mind as somewhere off some princess fairytale, ancient and exotic looking buildings, our popular stop for the world's famous chocolates, fries, beer, and waffles. Talk about teeth problems. Grrrr.
From his accent and grammar, it seems though, that Mesel is not the brightest in the English language. He isn't a native speaker, anyway, but grew up in Flanders where Dutch is the main language.
Marc is popular for his love for exotic things including Women and cars. His ideas about relationships and marriage too are unique and have been faced with several controversial debates for and against him. He loves his women and he has girlfriends from Africa whom he is seen to pamper. Hence, he might just be one of our rich modern polygamists. He loves children.
He is a social media bee as he often posts pictures and videos of his "pretty girls" and exotic cars on his Instagram page and talks a lot about cryptocurrency on his YouTube and Twitter handles. His video; "How to get a pretty girl" has opened a lot about his love life, including jealous feelings towards his girlfriends' "hot" male hairdresser and a small interaction with one of his girlfriends. Mr. Marc also seems to have a deep love for Lamborghinis.
The Crypto Priest
2012, Cryptocurrency was just a painting still in the making. Hyped, but many still believed that it was a dream. Truth be told, 90% of the world didn't even know what cryptocurrency was. Yeah, that really was how unpopular it was. Well, its status had become better than in 2008 when its eyes first really opened to the world but, still, it wasn't exactly something most investors will play their cards on.
Especially since there was the likelihood that it might crash just anytime. Well, that wasn't the case for some 'hard-headed' investors like Marc de Mesel. Marc happened to be one of the very few that seem to have had a strong belief in cryptocurrency and its potentials from the very start. More like he was called for it. The crypto priest.
Normally, he had been an investor since 2009. See, he was born for greatness. Though it has not all been rosy and successful, he has had his share of losses from the early days, but he never gave up. He has made investment mistakes in the start, had losses, and recovered after he invested in self-development and it paid off. And today, he is smart and rich.
I could imagine a soothsayer over baby Marc. He is born under the lucky star and his path speaks cryptocurrency. Maybe this really happened or not but what is definitely true is that by his wit and sometimes, pure good luck, he had always taken the right steps at the perfectly right time through his cryptocurrency trade. Really, the economy has favoured him because from 2009 till the present, Mr. Marc de Mesel has a CAGR of 40%. That's quite some!
Did Marc de Mesel gamble and won or was it just sheer faith in a cause he so believed in? We'll get to know.
Marc de Mesel started out in the cryptocurrency world with the Almighty Bitcoin in 2012. However, in 2017, he sold all his Bitcoin and bought other coins. It is later now, after an interview with him that he explained the reason he left Bitcoin to invest in other cryptocurrencies. His reasons seem now, to be why he has gained so much respect and is considered a legend in the making of cryptocurrency.
According to Marc, he sold his Bitcoin to invest in other coins because the currency had diverted from the original purpose of cryptocurrency. Obviously, he wasn't a very big fan of Bitcoin's "Maximalism", their attitude to smaller coins, and, the fact that Bitcoin blockchains were becoming a scarce resource and he envisaged that transactions were "most likely to get more expensive in the future." To him, Bitcoin became less of a currency and more of an asset that could be owned by the rich only. Wait... Marc is part of the rich. Aw, the guy was actually fighting for a cause. So, that really was a diversion.
Marc's passion was to advocate for a currency that's with fast and cheap transaction, controlled by everyone, able to be owned by anyone, and, be used anywhere. This, to him, was the vision of cryptocurrency. But, since he couldn't see this in Bitcoin, he left it for Bitcoin cash which he described as "Bitcoin done well." So, in the true sense, Mr. Marc is more after "the Vision". How heroic!
At first, his actions might have seemed totally mental. Hey, Bitcoin is the new rising wealth with a promising and robust future. Perhaps, Marc saw it coming, or he just took the risk, but the story is; he sold his Bitcoin and bought other coins at the exactly perfect time. Therefore, few months into his action, which was when Bitcoin Cash forked from Bitcoin, Bitcoin's value dropped by 50%. While other coins rose. Boom! That was the big breakthrough.
Looking at Mr. Marc de Mesel's stories now, we see that he is more passionate and loyal to his idea of true cryptocurrency than putting his favour and loyalty to a particular coin. He's one cryptocurrency smart guy I would vote for any day. His foresight is most probably the reason he's one of the "biggest boys" in the crypto world today. Hurrah, Marc.
Marc in Bitcoin Cash
Marc invested big in Bitcoin BCH from the start. As a man who had enough of Bitcoin BTC deviation from the original vision of a peer to peer digital currency, when in middle 2017 Bitcoin BCH forked off Bitcoin, he was very happy we finally had a Bitcoin again that was lead well, where on-chain transaction remained cheap and fast, and where the vision to continue to innovate and attract all kind of use cases and application to Bitcoin, was strong. Today he holds more BCH than any other cryptocurrency and he has been supporting the community and promoting projects that contribute to the growth and success of Bitcoin BCH.
The Bitcoin Cash Santa
He's one of the biggest donators to the cryptocurrency (Bitcoin cash) cause. His zeal for cryptocurrency is so enviable!
He makes money from it as much as he spends money to support Bitcoin BCH and everything related to it. He reportedly said that he puts a lot into BCH because it only makes sense for him to do that. Afterall, if the values increase, his value increases too. He has also supported read.cash and Flipstarter with huge donations. Hence, there are thousands of people all over the world, who have somehow, benefitted directly or indirectly from his generosity.
He has quite a number of fans and followers who try to sneak a few bits of information and success tips that he doses out generously to make something too out of their cryptocurrency investments.
Family and Personality
Marc de Mesel has African girlfriends from Kenya with beautiful children. His fatherly acts especially to his children have received great admiration. He spends his time and money on them as much as he does, cryptocurrency. He has big goals for his children too and aims to give them the best life can offer so that they can pursue their dreams and be better than he is. It can be concluded that he is very proud of his children and girlfriends as he constantly shows them off while referring to his girlfriends as very beautiful.
Marc de Mesel seems the luxury kind. Oh! He loves the life! Often, he is seen having fun, riding exotic cars, beaching, and relaxing in luxurious holiday spots. He also seems to love to travel.
Marc de Mesel has a light and easy personality. Most times, he is free and open, usually discussing random things and just having his fun on social media. He is also pretty smart since he gives useful and candid advice and opinions on cryptocurrency and other investments. Hence, he's the investment wizard.
He seems to be quite friendly since he openly shared his Telegram contact and he also replies to his messages, comments, and fan questions. He is more popular for his powerful support of Bitcoin BCH. In fact, if he had been born much later than his time, he would have been termed "freaked" on crypto.
Marc the Munificent
Marc is smart and rich and has placed himself in a position to give. He is generous - you have to be generous to be able to give as much. Truly generous people are successful, not just in their business or community but in their life as well. Sometimes the most important step you can take to become more generous is to spend more time thinking about what you already possess and less time thinking about what you don't have or you are losing. In giving you are losing a bit of yourself.
A common trait of generous people is that they are willing and happy to work hard for what they have. They realize there is no easy path to take and are willing to do what it takes to achieve their goals even if it means donating one million dollars to a Bitcoin cash project.
To me, Marc is others-focused - he sees his success as a benefit for all, and not just himself. If Bitcoin BCH succeeds tomorrow it's a benefit for all in the Bitcoin cash community, not just Marc.
Marc has the right attitude to money and wealth, he is treating his wealth appropriately: as a means to acquire the things he needs, and he therefore able and willing to spend money well on others, and not just himself.
