How do you fix something you can't see?

When we get a physical injury or pain, we can easily apply medicine to fix it and with time it will heal. But how do we heal from emotional pain? How do you fix something you can't even see? Well, firstly, you have to change the way you think about it.

Even if you don't think about it, your body still knows what to do for itself. It's just that our minds are too busy with other things. We spend our days thinking about work, making money, looking good and sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves. We forget to eat regularly, give ourselves enough time for rest and relaxation, and sometimes we even forget that there are other people who love us.

All of this is because of one thing: stress! And stress is caused by our thoughts about reality, our thoughts about the future or past, and they affect our bodies in many ways: physically (by making us sick), mentally (by making us depressed), or emotionally (by making us feel angry).

The best way to relieve stress is by finding a balance between work/money/beauty/love/family. But let's put the focus back on emotional pain, how do you heal from something like that? You're right, it's not easy to fix something you can't see, but there are ways to heal from it.

Let's say you have someone who hurt your feelings. You can try talking to them about it, or you could go visit them and talk face-to-face instead. If that doesn't work, maybe you could try ignoring their behavior for a while. If all else fails, there are some things you can do on your own:

  1. Write down all the feelings and emotions that you're feeling and let them out. write the event that hurt your feelings, think about what happened and why it made you feel this way, and then choose a time in the future when you will be able to talk about it.

  2. Talk about it with someone who cares.

  3. Find another way to express yourself through art, music or other hobbies that you love doing!

  4. Try writing your feelings down in a journal or on paper, so that when the time comes for you to look at these things again they won't seem so overwhelming. If you are comfortable with sharing it on a blogging platform like readcash, feel free!

  5. Look at photos of happy memories with friends and family members who meant a lot to you during times when life wasn't easy for you. It helps to remind yourself how lucky we are to have people around us who love us

Conclusion

When life gets you down, it can be hard to find the strength to keep going. Sometimes all you want to do is curl up on your bed and cry, but there are ways of coping with pain that doesn't involve tears or shutting yourself off from others.

The point is, that we can't solve every problem by fixing it externally. Ultimately, the only way to truly solve something is to address the root of the problem. And if you're going to address the root of the problem, you have to give it time, trust yourself and believe in yourself that you will overcome it.

Only you know what's best for you and only you know how to solve your problems. Even if others do everything they can to help you out, even if they are willing to do whatever it takes for you ultimately, it's up to you to make yourself happy and move on from your past events or emotionally damaging situation.

Side note: This article was inspired by an old song titled Pretty hurts by the lovely Beyonce. I was listening to it earlier today and when I got to the part that says; "you can't fix something you can't see, it's the soul that needs the surgery" I just went: "boom! I have something to say about that" 😆 it's a very good song and its lyrics have a healing effect, feel free to check it out. And remember; be happy

Emotional pain is not curable with any tangible remedies, this is the most difficult one and it takes time to overcome it, there's no easy solution in this matter.

Yeah that's true, there will always be traces of that pain left in our heart even when we thought we have healed from it

There are moments when we feel demotivated and anxiety never leave us in the darkness. It is a matter of how we choose to keep going, and how we cope up with the stress. As for me, I do one of the things you mentioned above, I am expressing myself and my thought through my hobbies & writing.

Emotional pain is a kind of emotional illness and it can be cured with patience, love, openness and respect. Emotional pain has no physical symptoms that you could spot on the body, so it's more difficult to treat rather than physical symptoms.

Sometimes emotional wounds are just too hard to heal. Sometimes, it pushes someone to do really weird things.

Hi! I'm new here.

Emotional wounds are also sometimes difficult to detect. Sometimes we might be feeling down without actually knowing what caused it or there could be several factors that caused.

I am telling you bro, many people will just ignore it and try to suppress the pain, but that is a bad idea in the long run

Almost everyone hides under the shadow of the need to survive, we push ourselves to limits that hurt not just our physical life but our mental health as well.

Creating a balance is really what matters mustn't sacrifice one for another because it comes firing back at us at the least expected time.

Sacrificing one part of our life for the other ends up being a bad decision in the long run because we need all these aspect for us to have a meaningful life. The key is certainly to strike a balance between them

That's why it's important to try and take a break from whatever is giving us stress, it will be disastrous if we keep accumulating it

I have a friend who says that problems are usually smaller than they appear to be, it's all a matter of perspective and the way you see things.

Yeah, sometimes we panic when we are faced with a problem but when we sit back and think about it, we see a solution to it

We can't fix something we can't see, the good news is that God can see it and know more than what we can. The soul needs transformation by the help of the Holy Spirit. We all feel stress or depress sometimes but life must go on.

Exactly, with God all things are possible and only Him can fix something we can't see.

Recovering from stressed, pain or depresion is no dem hard. Maybe I can say aside from those you mentioned one thing that can heal it is time. Sometimes as the time goea by the pain we feel became lesser till to the point we could no linger feel it

Time heals all pain, be it physical or emotional, we can heal from them as time goes on but the scar will always be there to remind us of what happened
