Hello ladies and gentlemen of readcash, how are you all today? Easter is around the corner but I didn't even know it's in less than 6 days from now until someone mentioned it to me yesterday, I had to cross-check my calendar just to make sure 😆
I am still in the university up till now despite the strike but I am going back home to my parents later in the week to celebrate Easter and I will probably go back to the university after some weeks. There are lots of benefits attached to going back home and the most beneficial is that I don't have to worry about cooking my food! 😀 And that brings us to the topic for today: foods!
Pizza or Pasta
This isn't a very fair comparison, pizza should have gone up against shawarma while pasta will be pitted against noodles 😆 but be that as it may, I will have to pick pizza. I have eaten a lot of portions of pasta to last me a lifetime and I am getting tired of it, but I recently started eating pizza and I am loving the experience so far.
Ice Cream or Cake
Definitely ice cream, I get tired of cake quite easily. I ate a lot of ice cream and cake when I was a kid, so I have a really strong reason as to why I prefer ice cream. I don't like taking cake without something to go with it (like yogurt or some other drink), and I can't eat a large amount of it because I get full easily 😆 but Ice cream on the other hand doesn't tire me out.
Waffles or Pancakes
Definitely Pancakes. I have eaten both only a handful of times and I will always pick pancakes anytime, any day. When it comes to buying chocolate biscuits, I tend to avoid those that include waffles and will rather pick those with nuts.
Rice or Noodles
This is a tough one, I love both of them a lot! I have been eating rice for as long as I can remember and it's probably my favorite food right now, but I got introduced to noodles later on in life and I have fallen in love with it, especially when I learned the different ways of preparing it. I always go with a carton of noodles when I am going back to the university because it's very fast food that can be prepared within 30 minutes. But for this question, I will have to stick with rice 😁 I can do without noodles, but rice? Hell no
Vanilla or Chocolate
Definitely vanilla! I only go for chocolate when vanilla isn't available. In any type of food (cakes, flavored biscuits, ice creams, yogurts), I always go for the vanilla flavor first and if it's not available, then I look into chocolates. And if chocolate isn't available? Then strawberry it is 😉
Vegetables or Fruits
Fruits for me. I love fruits a lot and my favorites are pineapple and banana. There was a particular semester in the university when I never failed to buy pineapple while returning from class every day. Sometimes I pair it up with watermelon; cut both of them together into a bowl and eat, the taste is just amazing! 🤩
Burger or Tacos
I haven't had Tacos before, and neither have I ever seen them around me but I am definitely going to have a taste any day I come across it. I love burgers since the very first day I had them, and that was back in 2016. I am starting to crave it again, I think I will go out later this week to look for it
Spicy or Sweet
Definitely spicy, I love spicy foods 😁 Right now I am trying to reduce my sugar intake, so sweet foods will have to take a chill pill for now. I have always loved spicy foods and I think it's because my mom loves them as well, but there's a limit to how spicy my food should be, I don't want the one that will make tears start running down my eyes 😂.
The end
And that's it. I saw this prompt last week in @Aimure article and I bookmarked it for a rainy day, and it has just saved me today from writer's block 😆 It was fun writing about this prompt because it is talking about one of our favorite things: Food. Feel free to also take part in this and let me know what you prefer from the choice of foods in the picture above.
Thanks for reading 💖💖💖
