And so we begin...

It's a brand new year, month and day, are you still pumped with energy to tackle 2022? I woke up at about 9am today, that's pretty much late for someone that usually wakes at about 7am, but I slept very late the previous night.

I am glad to say that I spent my last minutes of 2021 in church and then I started 2022 in church as well 😊 it's a normal practice for people in my country to attend the crossover service at various churches all over the country, as most people will like to start the new year in the presence of God, and thereafter some of them end up in nightclubs 😆

The mass at my church was scheduled for 10pm but I went around 9pm to take part in the benediction. When the mass started, the church was still scanty and I know when most people will turn up; at about 11:30pm.

Most people come to church just to shout "happy new year", take a few photos, and record themselves to post online for clout, and then they bounce out immediately, and that was exactly what happened.

At about 11pm, I noticed more and more people kept pouring into the church and at one point there was no space for people to sit, well at least most of them will leave after screaming happy new year and taking pictures.

Shortly before 12am, we started singing and dancing before proceeding to light up candles all around the church, then at exactly 12am, everyone shouted happy new year and the singing and dancing gained even more momentum. While everyone was busy ushering in the new year, I quickly took out my phone and headed over to readcash to publish my first article for the year 😆

As I said before, as soon as it's 12am and everyone has screamed happy new year, most people start leaving and patronize the nightclubs and bars all around. The mass ended about 30 minutes later, then my brother and I went off to carry out what we planned out which is to buy noodles, barbecued meat (suya), bread and egg, and some chilled bottles of coke.

We took our food home and shared it with our other siblings. We stayed up until about 4am, I was watching a movie (Nikita) while my brother was chatting with friends online, and that is why I woke up late at about 9am.

I didn't do much for today except help my mom with the cooking and then take a very long nap, my body needed it to make up for the lost sleep last night. I also watched some episodes of Nikita, and then I bought my very first NFT 🤩.

I will be talking about my experience in buying cattos in another article as well as explaining how to buy it for those new to NFTs like me.

At the very least, I started the new year by investing in crypto and I will like to keep it that way throughout this year, as I lost a lot of opportunities last year because I was too scared to take a risk. I have a very good feeling that this year will be a great one for me in the cryptoverse 😊
