Miracle 1: do you believe in miracles? (Shade, Dayo mama, and the village girl) Hello, dear viewers, subscribers, commenters, and sponsors. It is a beautiful Friday morning here today. And hope your day is been smooth? For a while, I've been thinking about how Miracles works. If you know me, I'm a kind of scientific and like to seek answers to things in scientific ways. But miracles seem to be out of any scientific rationale. They are mysterious or maybe not exactly mysterious but unexplainable occurrences that happen out of the ordinary. Since the early existence of man, miracles are things that are looked to when things have assumably gone beyond man's efforts. For the religionist, it is divine intervention. We can attest to having had miracles happen in our lives in one way or the other. Be it medically, financially, or success after so many failures. For those who believe in miracles, it appears to work for them. But, not all belief in getting to see a miracle come true. Shade had her miracle come true Growing up Shade has always fantasized about having a family with plenty of children. And as you will have it in the African culture children are gifts and it is always beautiful to have these many gifts. If a woman marries into a household, it is expected that she produces these many gifts as her womb could carry. And failure to do this would bring enmity between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. The relationship between the two would go frosty as pressure from the mother-in-law mounts if it takes forever to bear a child. It is not easy for Shade, even though she so desperately needs to have a child to call her's. It's been 10 years since she got married to her husband, Dayo, and they have done everything humanly possible to bear a child. But, Dayo's mum isn't helping matters. Like Shade is God who put babies in the womb, she has been scolded and called so many derogatory names for her inability to give Dayo, who is the only son mama had, a child. Dayo loves his wife so much but the pressure from his mum to get another wife due to her wife's barrenness as mama would say is starting to make him reconsider. But, each time he starts losing hope that they will make babies together (Shade and Dayo), he quickly shakes off his thinking and goes in kneeling to pray. The village girl It was Sunday morning and while everyone was busy with church activities for that day. Mama was restless as she was getting old and feared she would die without seeing her grandchild. She decided to take permission from Asade's parents, the village girl, that she want to take her to the city and her son would like to take her as a wife. After setting up, mama and Asade headed for the city. Although the city is only 3hrs from the village. Soon they arrived at Dayo's house. Dayo and his wife were at church when mama and Asade arrived. No one was home but the gateman opened the gates to admit them inside the yard. Mama sat on the short fence that was built on the balcony while Aside sat on her bag on the ground. Asade was looking around the compound with beaming smiles on her face as mama kept reassuring her it's her husband's home. Moments later, Dayo and Shade were back. Poom! Poom! The horn blasted and Audu the gateman rushed to open the gate. Vooom! The Lexus Jeep parked in front of the veranda. They reached to the knob and opened, holla! They saw mama sitted. Dayo rushed for mama's hug and as Shade tried to have a hug too, mama quickly withdrew. Mama looked into Shade's eyes in a very uncomfortable way and made gestures without saying a word. Then, shade reached for mama's bag to help get them inside and her hands were hit away. She politely said 'I'm sorry ma' perhaps she did a thing to offend mama she never knew. While the drama was going on, Asade walked from where she was seated and came in front of Dayo, knelt to greet him. Quickly, Dayo held her up and asked 'how are you my dear' she replied ' I'm fine Oko mi' meaning I'm fine my husband. Dayo was surprised and asked ' Mama, what's happening? Mama brushed him off and said let's go inside jare. Dayo helped mama carry her stuff inside while Asade get the rest of it inside too. At this point, Shade could not bear it anymore and left them in the parlor while she headed to the bedroom to change her clothes. On reaching the room, Shade burst into tears. Dayo and mama were discussing and soon his mood changed. He was angry but mama told him he will be fine. And he tried to tell mama that God is the giver of children. But mama shushed him. Asade was shown her room. She put down her bags and was guided to the bathroom. At first, everything was a new experience and she couldn't turn out the shower. Mama had to come to her aid. As soon as the shower turn open, she jumped out of the bathroom into the bedroom in shock. She was scared about what just happened. Mama smiled and told her it's fine. 'This is the way they bathe in the city' mama said. 'You just turn open, the water comes out and you have your bath' no need for the fetcher to pour water on the body ok? She nodded as she was still surprised. 'Oya bath quick, your husband must be hungry' she said again before leaving the room into her room which is adjacent to Asada's. Please meet my ever-supportive sponsors. They have beautiful hearts, Due to the length of the narrative, I've decided to break it into miracles 1 and 2. This is so as not to overwhelm my readers. Please look out for miracle 2 soon. Thank you for reading

It is funny how some people seem not to believe one can be so good to produce a top-notch piece for a post. I posted my article on: Share Your Talents (f01d) You replied that it is not my work. I challenge the admin of Share Your Talents (f01d) to bring his proof that it is not my work. And You have 48hrs, else shut up forever! Every piece of work on my profile is 101% original. If you won't approve so be it. But, don't try to insult my hard work.
Hey, it's my birthday guys! And how I almost died of electricution Hello, my beautiful readers, viewers, subscribers, and my esteemed sponsors ( @ErdoV **De_Jezzai and Abubakar450** ) You've all been a part of this journey of mine, and saying thank you can't be enough. I wish there are better words to express my appreciation. @Zain-Bhatti. That has become a very good friend to me in a couple of days. My appreciation can not end without saying thank you to my mentor on this platform @BilqeesBilqees you guys have been great in this roller coaster ride to success all along. I trust you're all sound and in good health today. It is the 5th day of January today. But, yesterday being the 4th, was my birthday. I skipped posting yesterday, given a couple of activities at hand. You probably think the activities involved celebrating by throwing a party. Nah! Nah! I'm not a party type. Well, I mean I don't usually like a party thing because they sound disturbing to my ears seeing a crowd of people gathering at a party. The activities were rather academic. And as you would know the holidays are over. Life is coming back as we use to know it. The hectic part of it all is jumping up in the morning and rushing for the 7 am lectures. So, I spent my birthday at school and in class. It may surprise you that not so many people knew about my day of birth. But I like it that way honestly because I don't get the "hey, birthday boy" and "happy birthday" at every turn you make. It may sound awkward but it is a great relief for me. I'm not an introvert but I like being reserved. It doesn't matter anyway whether it was celebrated in a party way or in a more conservative way. The most important thing is, I was born this day, 4th January many years ago. Things that happened to me: Electrocution, it is almost 6 years since I was rescued from the claws of death. I remember it was the day of the Muslim festival (eid). I came back home after having gone out with friends to see places and hang out. And I started hearing murmurings of children about shocking poles. Being curious, I paid closer attention to their discussion and it came clearer what they were talking about. They were talking about a dish pole planted right in front of my house, shocking. The adults sitted there were not concerned but carried away by their discussion. Suddenly, a little boy cried out that the pole held him. I seem to be the only one observing what was going on. Then I decided to confirm what these children were saying about the dish pole. At first holding, the pole did not react to me because I was insulated from the ground due to the shoes I was putting on. It would have been wiser to use an Amp or voltmeter to test if the current was flowing in it as the children complained. But this was just an afterthought. I went on to remove my shoe on the right foot and grapple the pole again. Boom! I was held fixed to the pole. Trying to pull out my hand, it won't let go. When trying to pull out it drags me back to it. I was not in control of my hands anymore. There were contractions and relaxation on my muscles resulting from the current flow. Moles of electricity were passing through me into the ground. I couldn't figure out anything quickly. I cried out for help. The first person that rushed to my aid was mum. I kept calling out, hit me! Hit me! She used every plastic insight to smash my arm fixed to the pole to no avail. Each time she strikes, it seems it would let go but it holds on to my arm again. More people came out this time and everyone moved frantically to do something. I'm spending too long there now. I started praying for the lord's forgiveness, thinking it would be my last. At a point, my mum was coming to hold me, but my brother quickly pushed her away. Everyone was looking where perhaps the source of the electricity was. It was taking too long and at every beat of the second, my heart was beating faster as it would explode. I was becoming dizzy, going unconscious. I don't know where the courage my brother had come from. He just jumped in with full force to hit me away. We both fell to the ground like logs of wood with thunderous sounds. He felt the shock too but was safe. Infra-glenoid dislocation After the miraculous rescue, I was still unconscious and never realized what had happened after I fell to the ground. Seconds later, I felt this heaviness on my left shoulder which was held fixed on the pole moments ago. I couldn't carry it. As I tried to pull myself up, my brother aided me up but I could not stand straight because the heavy arm was pulling me on my left side. They supported me inside the house. On pulling my shirt, I realized my shoulder blades shooting out but there was no puncture of the skin. I was feeling the head of my humerus under my armpit. I never knew it was big trouble for me. The local therapist We have known this therapist since I was very young. And each time I got my hands dislocated from a sport, he always get it fixed. But this case was ways beyond what he can handle. However, like he thought it was the other case, he started pulling and massaging the arm. 5days after there was hardly an improvement. Soon it is 2 weeks and no real change. We were introduced to another therapist and this time we were asked to go for an x-ray. Under the x-ray photographs, it was realized I had an infra-glenoid dislocation where my humerus is abducted inward and under the glenoid. I took the x-ray to the therapist and he began treatment. I couldn't bear the pains. It was out of this world. Again I didn't like how this therapist was tieing the shoulders. He does it in a way that cuts blood flow. So, I will untie it after I got home, always. The hospital There was no real improvement and now I went to the orthopedic hospital in kano where I was recommended for surgery. But we couldn't afford the amount needed. So, I kept on my therapy using knowledge from science I have acquired and learning more about dislocation. Today been 2022 and the 5th. I say Alhamdulilah, improvements have been wow. Six years along the line I'm much better than I was.
Why does Nudity sell faster? Hello guys, it's so good to meet you today and I trust you are doing ok. I was thinking perhaps what topic to write about today. I closed my eyes to reminisce and I found something really important that is worth talking about. So, be sure to read till the end to find out what this topic is all about. And it will be kind of you to drop a comment. Don't forget to hit the subscribe button if you haven't done so already. Nudity is fast becoming a norm and sometimes, decency is talked down. For those who try to be a bit different from the new normal by trying to avoid nudity, they are tagged un-socialized or uncivilized or even as not knowing about trends. Countless shows in the media promote this nudity but hardly is any show sponsored to promote decency. If only you are concerned like I do. I fear for generations coming after. Would those young lads see this as something that should be promoted? But, with the libration of both men and women through knowledge, we should decern things that a negative and good to our society. I woke up today thinking about my conversation with a friend the previous day. We talked about so many things but something about our conversation pricked me and kept flashing into my thoughts. It was about nudity. Something is striking about our society today. Unlike in the past, parents, teachers, and even those not related in any way to you care about the way you appear. Not appearance as in having to dress in a classic way, but in a sense that your body parts are not hanging out. I began thinking in my head if parents care to see their daughters before they leave the house. But, that is not exactly what I'm concerned about. My concern is, how society has sunk that it celebrates and promotes nudity as against more progressive things. It is not surprising though that promoters see no big deal about sponsoring and promoting contests and programs that are 18+ on public media. For them, it is market and cash out. The more viewers they get, the more chances are to attract ads and collect ad revenue. I remember back in the days when programs like who wants to be a millionaire and Gulder's ultimate search were the real deal. But these programs are now in the shadows due to sponsorships. Although Gulder's ultimate search is trying to get back to its feet, to claim the spot in the eyes of the public like it once did. Although this season's performance started and finished without many people knowing it was even still existing. The only visible thing about the Gulder Ultimate search this year was the announcement of the winner. Whether or not it was bad marketing that led to the poor publicity or people simply don't find it interesting anymore, there is doubt if the once-favorite program that shakes homes at night will come back to what it used to be. This can not be said of BBNija. The craze about BBNija, each time you hear it been talked about, you wonder if it is some kind of Game of Thrones movie. But tunning to the channel, you will be shocked to see breeeest and hmmm, my brother, heavy nyash for Tv. The greater obscenity you display, the more fan base you have and the more sponsorship deals await you. Please, meet my warm sponsors Every year, the bbnija show grows bigger with more cash prizes to be won. Incredible sponsorship deals come from big brands. How about the airtel University challenge that brings brilliant minds from across Nigeria and African institutions? That program is dead too. But why does nudity sells so fast and big without fizzling out and others just go off without warning? Thanks for reading guys!

The Revolutionary coin. Okay, what raced through your mind when you saw the caption, 'The revolutionary coin'? Yes, coins have been in existence for a very long time. And we must be too familiar with the metal coin. But, even before metal coins as currency, there were coins in the form of fine stones, cowries, and beads. These coins are different physically. However, their similarities are in the power of purchase. They all serve a similar purpose at different times. The scope of this article is not exactly about the aforementioned coins. But of course, mentioning them will give us a better understanding of just how revolutionary the coin is that we are going to talk about. The Revolutionary coin is no other than the Bitcoin. As we delve deeper to see how revolutionary this coin is, I would appreciate it if you subscribe to my profile and please, let me know your thoughts in the comments about the revolutionary coin. Now, only a decade before 2009, scarcely anything was known about Bitcoin. Maybe it existed long before 2009, but it started to gain popularity that year. Whatever the philosophy was behind its creation, we must admit that thoughtfulness precedes the inventor or inventors. What I can pick from the creation of Bitcoin is, it was an answer to correct the too many anomalies with trade and financial tools. The financial tools that existed were not only too expensive to produce, but they are also tools of oppression in trade. If you are one who had read the book, "How Europe Underdeveloped Africa", you would agree with the author (Walter Rodney) about how the wealth of Africa is taken away from Africans by the Europeans. Since the end of the colonial period, the government of the European countries and America, have used currency bias to take away the wealth of the African people. How? To answer the how is to ask yourself 'How much does a unit of dollars, Euros, or Pounds exchange an African country's currencies? In Nigeria, a unit of dollars exchanges over 400 units of nairas, and one unit of Great Britain pounds exchanges for about 600-700 units of naira. That is to say, just a bottle of water in the USA or Europe will buy 4-5 barrels of Brent Crude oil in Nigeria. Tell me, man! 1bottle of water= 4-5 barrels of crude. It is funny and sad at the same time. Does it call to question on parameters where these exchanges agreed? Who called the shots in these parametric agreements? Now, you wonder why with so many resources in Africa, governments still have to borrow monies from none resources-rich countries like itself? Well, this is because most of its wealth is lost in the process of exchange. This is where the revolutionary coin comes in handy. With cryptos like Bitcoin and others, we don't need to pay exchange fees. Crypto is ideal for Africa to grow its wealth. And it is revolutionary because, unlike other coins that existed throughout man's civilizations, it exists not in physical but in virtual forms. The complex mathematics behind this revolutionary coin gives it security and power. Please, meet my generous sponsors. They are true Champions! Africa, go crypto because crypto is freedom. Crypto is wealth and crypto is a fair deal.

How would you contribute towards an Improved climate in 2022? The industrial revolutions have brought glory to man. All through the periods, from the first industrial revolution to what we have today, man has shown ingenuity in skills, administration, and knowledge in seeking better ways to deal with problems for our collective good. The by-product of all those are seen in the comfort we enjoy in all facets of our lives today. From the more comfortable and convenient ways of transportation to the electricity that power our homes and factories. Also, from the computer and microchips to mass production in goods, with more efficient services. But all these have come with a price upon our earth. The decades-long, merciless exploitation and exploration of the earth is taking a toll on humans' only home, ( planet Earth). New diseases are on the rise, sea levels are rising, wildfires, extreme weather, and unusual occurrences. But nothing strikes hard to the heart as the mysterious death of wildlife. Often, we hear in the news about birds falling dead from the sky or the mass death of animals at sea. All these are results of our actions and inactions upon mother earth. For too long we have been taking from the earth more than it can be replenished. And this has led to the crisis we have come to know as global warming. Some people are still in disbelief about global warming and have in many ways downplayed the consequences of it, even sponsoring campaigns against calls to action. Fortunately, those who downplay the consequences are rich and benefit enormously from the status quo. How about the poor nations whose sole means for survival are agriculture? What happens to their crop from the disasters of floods due to rises in sea levels caused by global warming? What happens to their income and means of livelihood? What happens to the animals they keep for protein? Although the Paris accord is the major step taken by world leaders to check our destructive actions against the earth. But like taking one step forward and five backward, there are still disagreements about ways to heal this planet. For me, in my little way, I have chosen to do my part to improve the earth in 2022. I hope to do these: reduce carbon emission by switching to the solar grid minimizing as much as possible the use of plastics Using bicycles more often to my destinations to cut CO emissions Planting more trees Going Organic. Now, tell us in your comment; how would you contribute towards an improved climate in 2022?
11 ways to make money online in 2022 There are over 4billion active internet users as of January 2021. The internet holds enormous opportunities for everyone. Unlike what it used to be in times past, you don't need the whole bourgeoisie qualifications like an MBA or Ph.D. to land yourself a job that you will earn fantastic pay today. But, of course, you need to learn and perfect that skill on which you want to offer services to those who need them. Giving clients satisfaction and value to boost your rating among other competitors. Honestly, if you are not making money online, you miss out big time. It is never too late to start. The good side of it is; you can keep your regular job and still make an incredible amount of money online. If you're having doubts about what to do online to make money, don't worry because we will be showing you the ten ways to make money online in 2022. Now, let's see the 10ways on how you can make money online in 2022. **11. Having an online store;** with about half the world's population using the internet, it offers an opportunity for these vast markets to be exploited at your fingertip. A good side of it is, a chunk of this population is youthful with limitless wants. And if you have a business that offers any value or you're selling anything, be it fashion, books, or having a business that offers services. It is time to bring it online to tap from the vast market. Imagine placing merchandise in the front of a market square where thousands of people pass every day. The chances of your goods being patronized are high. The same analogy goes for the internet, only that you don't only have thousands of Passer-by, but billions. **10. Having an online class;** education today has become so democratized that it is fast shifting from the traditional ways knowledge is passed. Even our traditional institutions are joining these trends. The covid19 brought a valuable lesson to all that we can sit in our bedrooms to receive lectures without going into any physical classroom. This trend was on even before the covid19, but it became more pronounced. And it will continue until maybe there will be no physical classroom soon. Hahaha, I'm exaggerating. But you can't tell exactly how fast things change in the 21st century. And suppose you're so passionate about teaching or guiding people. In that case, it is time to start building an online class if you don't have one already. **9. Managing people's blogs or online stores;** many people are fast-moving their businesses online. But few have the time to manage the contents, reply to comments, and attend to customers' requests. For their businesses to succeed, these needs have to be met. That is why blogs or websites owners are often on the lookouts for reliable individuals to trust these responsibilities. And pay them in return for investing their time and experience to make their businesses grow. If you like interacting with people and helping them with valuable replies to their requests, then it is time to look for online jobs that need people like you to help them out. **8. Building social media followership;** yes, you heard me right; followership! Perhaps, you're wondering how you can make money on just building followership on your social media page. Well, this is what most celebrities don't tell you. They earn handsomely not just for being celebrities but also for their page ad-views, most likely seen by their followers. You don't have to be a Cardi-B to earn from the army of followership you have. Indeed, people will follow you due to the content or activities on your page, which may be of interest to them. Whatever you're doing, have a class of people it will attract. Those classes of people are a market for certain products that businesses would like to show what they have. Your page can be the link between that business and people who may need them. Note; businesses are always on the lookout for the market for their product. When you have the demography of the market that they want, you will be contacted to seal a deal for an Ad placement on your page. Just make sure you have the correct contact details and can be reached easily. And hey, the Ad revenue is yours. But not only through that, if you have a direct link generated from Adsterra, which guides viewers to an ad, then you will be paid for each user who click on that link. **7. Blogging**; the most popular way to earn online today is blogging. You can have a blog for that idea or passion that people would like to read about. Every individual has their uniqueness, and it doesn't matter if two people or 200hundreds of them talk about the same thing on their blog. The same story can be told in different ways, and it is up to the audience to choose what they prefer. You can start earning from your blog by applying for Google Adsense to monetize the blog. And when the Adsense is approved, you can start earning from the views on your blog. However, Adsense is not the only way to earn from your blog. You can also earn from Adsterra, like Adsense, or by running other Ads on the blog. You can sell products to earn money from the blog too. **6. Buying and selling of domain;** before hosting your blog on any hosting plan, you first need to have a domain name. Domain names are like your signature, differentiating blogger A from B. they are the .coms, .net, .co.UK and so on. Domain names can cost from $12 and above to register. How then can you make money off selling domain? Okay, some people go out there, create unique names, and then register them. Let's say you want your domain name to be health.com. And when you try to register that particular name, it tells you, "it's not available." Maybe you need such a unique name so severely, and then you have an option to buy from one who has already registered Health.com. Now, if you happen to be the owner of Health.com and have a willing buyer of your already registered domain, how much would you sell It? It would have appreciated, and you can sell from $60 to $200 or more. This way, you can make a crazy profit from buying and selling domain names. You can do the selling on platforms like Goddady.com and a host of other platforms. **5. Affiliate marketing;** this marketing system is as old as you can imagine, even before the advent of computers. It is a system that brings shared value to all parties involved. How it works is; you have an original owner of a product, a middle person who drives sales or traffic to the owner’s product, and a buyer. The primary aim of any business is to make sales and realize a profit. As a person interested in affiliate marketing, you can partner with the product owner, persuade potential customers and convince them to buy the product. When a deal is made, you can earn in two ways. Firstly, if you sell directly to the buyer, you can earn the profits after the sale. The second way to earn is through commission paid to you by the original owner of the product sold. Affiliate marketing is a double-edged sword where you are paid by both the product owner and the buyer. All you need to start your affiliate marketing journey is a phone or pc and the internet. Then, register on Amazon, eBay, or even your social media pages to advertise other businesses ' products and direct sales. The potential to earn handsomely without owning a single product or operating any physical store in affiliate marketing is enormous. **4. Selling photos or designs online:** if you don't have a blog or want a faster way to convert your photos or designs to money, you can sell them on online platforms like stock photos and a host of other photo site. Designers browse every day to see ideas about designs they may want to make. They reach out to these platforms to get designs and photos, even premium ones. That is, these platforms need your designs to give searchers varieties of choices to choose from. So, if you're so good at designs and have incredible photography skills, then hop on it, do some of them and sell to make money. **3. Building Apps;** apps have become commonplace in our mobile phones and all sorts of computerized devices. Apps are gateways to access different services on computers. They are of different purposes, and developers keep looking for problems to solve using Apps. The knowledge of building apps are becoming simplified every day to allow everyone to get a chance to build one. If And when you have the proper knowledge and tools to build an app, you can make money off it by placing them on the app store, and Google will do the rest for you while you earn from them. However, apps built must be helpful to people if you care to make a lot of money. **2. Freelancing**: Many talents abound worldwide and lots more of buyers need them to get their stuff done. Be it a quick holiday card that needs to be designed especially for a loved one or getting some content writing done on a blog, or building a website. Platforms like Fiver.com, Upwork.com, and a host of other freelancing sites have allowed so many freelancers to make millions off their talents by showing them to possible buyers of their skills and helping to make the payment process seamless. Suppose you have a talent that people would need, be it writing, singing, or you have an excellent voice for voice-over and are not yet on these platforms. In that case, I think you should sign up after reading this to start earning and build the future of your dream. It brings us to our number one way of making money online in 2022, and it is; **Read.cash**; here you are on read.cash cracking your brains every single moment to write unique articles that will earn you some Bitcoin equivalent. You are a testimony of making money on this platform. So, keep writing and keep making more money. Making money online is a way to earn passively, and it is advantageous.

The Politics against Crypto. It is difficult sometimes to tell the reasons why most governments are against cryptocurrencies. After the government of China banned crypto, my government (the Nigerian government) followed suit. Never for once did I take crypto seriously until I start seeing the ban on it more frequently. It pushed me to know more about crypto. Since its introduction, it may surprise you that I've never dealt with it before. Yes, I mean I haven't used it for any transaction, neither do I care to have some while others are keeping them. Until recently that I start reading @MarcDeMesel posts on BCH. It started occurring to me that crypto should be looked at as an asset, although volatile, I just have to understand its trends and how market forces cause its fluctuation. Not very different from fiat currency in that sense only that fiat is a bit less volatile. https://read.cash/@MarcDeMesel A question has always crossed my mind as to why governments that ban crypto do so, even with its vast opportunities to help equalize payments and remove unfair exchange rates where nations' wealth are feltered away through it. Then, I realized the fears in the hearts of these governments. It is not because it will crash economies but will rival authority-ship. Governments abhor anything that tends to put their control to question. No doubt, crypto's decentralized system is a dagger to the heart of government control. The EndSARs protest showed the world the power of crypto. Where young men and women who came out in protest against police brutality were able to finance this campaign even with the frozen of accounts of individuals who could be sources to finance it. For days the protest lingered and people slept in the streets and ate there too. There was a constant supply of food and clean water, even ambulance services to attend to emergencies. All these were financed outside the fiat currency. And this is the point where the government of Nigeria was gripped with fear. Immediately after the heat of the protest died, comes the pronouncements that it is prohibited to use or transact with crypto of any form within Nigeria or its banks. And accounts with cryptos were frozen. The actions against crypto are out of fear. Whether for good of the people of a nation or just for the good of government, stopping crypto in this age and time may be impossible. Maybe temporarily but it will rival the government's fiat currency and that may mean seizure of control from the government.
10 years of relentlessness I left high school in 2011 with hopes and dreams of gaining admission to study medicine at the university. My SSCE results were what can be described as perfect because I had the prerequisite for med school. In the same year, I took the JAMB exam but fell short of the required score to get admitted for the course I choose. Well, that never dashed my hopes of becoming a doctor. Even with the score, I still took the post-utme but for a new course of study, I choose and this time, biochemistry. I did well in the putme, at least I was able to hit above average. It is now time to wait for the admission list. Hours turned to day and nights became too long. Holla! The admission list is out but I couldn't find my name. What could be wrong? I asked myself. Well, I guess it will appear in the second list. I waited until the supplementary list and my name never appeared. Could this be a waste of an admission year? I asked myself again. Well, that's what it seemed I thought. The joy of finally getting into the university slowly die away and im faced with the reality of seating at home for another year. Spending a whole year in the house not being in school was just not funny. With the pressure from my thoughts and having to deal with my parent's demands of the home front in terms of chores and also managing the family business without paying for your efforts. You don't even have money of your own to do stuff for yourself and you dare not picking from the sales purse. Everything became frustrating and all I was thinking was to just leave the house for good. But I need a valid reason to do that. Browsing the Internet I came across an advert about schooling in Ukraine. And my head started thinking about ways to exploit this opportunity. I applied for admission and was offered to study medicine at Kharkiv medical university in Kharkov Ukraine. My parents were excited when I told them about the admission and they showed their willingness to support this dream and opportunity. However, we were not exactly sure how to go about sending money to retrieve the admission later. At long last, it was decided that using an agent will douse our fears, which we obliged. The admission letter came to me at my residence after paying $120 which was equivalent to #120k as of 2012. We did the payment through the said agent than through DHL. For once, it looks all was genuine, and it was until we came to the process of securing a visa for my travel, scheduled in September 2012. I followed all processes from documentation to authentication of my documents at the ministry of education, Abuja. After all that, I proceeded to translate my documents to the Ukrainian language because it was a requirement too. My parents were not sure about the visa wahala so they decided to go with the advice of a family's friend brother who became a spanner in the wheels. Although the agent has already applied for my visa interview. Two days after the application for a visa interview, I received a message in my email from the Ukrainian embassy at kparakoo Cresent Abuja. But I checked my email late and realized the moment I saw the email was just the time for my interview. I stood motionless for a while thinking about what to do. Finally, I broke the news to my agent what happened, and then he re-applied. It was taking too long already and we were growing tired of our patience. So, we decide to use the help of the so-called family friend brother who claims to be a student in Ukraine and knows some prominent persons in the embassy to quickly get the visa, as he claims. #400k naira was demanded to get this done by him. And the money was paid. After sending my documents to him in Benin, I received another email from the embassy for an interview again after the rescheduling. Unfortunately, this time my documents were not with me but in Benin. We begged the one in whose possession the documents were in Benin but for the money he received, he refused to send them and insisted he was going to get it done. The invitation expired and all hopes were on Jefter. Yes, Jefter is the guy's name whom we gave the money, that promised he will secure my visa. My departure date edged closer and no real update from jefter other than the same excuse over and over again. Then, weeks to my departure yet no visa, and I already secured my flight tickets. It all happened that I was not going to make it. I couldn't secure the visa and my admission got expired in September 2012. So, we started collecting what was left. We received the refunds on the flight ticket but after paying penalties. The #400k with jefter was forever gone. Although I promised myself, however long it takes jefter will pay back every dime. With the anger and disappointment, the reality of spending another year at home hits me. Quickly, I took the next available jamb form. It is my third year already and my second jamb. Still, I couldn't secure admission with it. This time I took the IJMB form spent one year to conclude my A-level and applied for direct entry to ABU Zaria in 2014/15 admission year. Yet, it was dead luck. My passion to study in the university pushed me on. I took jamb again for the fifth time and couldn't secure an admission. Although, I have always hit the cut-offs. My parents started giving up on me. My dad especially, completely turn deaf ears to my schooling. He just won't care anymore. And I became responsible for financing every other cost that had to do with education. My mum will cry every night in her prayers for me and kept giving me that assurance that I will succeed. Others were thinking my case has become hopeless and maybe na village matter. Though I'm not a believer of this black magic of a thing and my mum will always shush me by yelling at me each time I express the impossibility of dark magic. I spent the 9year sitting for a jamb and even so no admission was secured. Never for once did I take it as a fate not to go to the university. I became so used to jamb that I don't study before going to write the exam anymore and my worst score is always 240 since the 5th year of writing jamb exams. I call myself Wole Soyinka, the literary icon rumored to have written waec 9times. Jamb transited with me from the pencil and paper to the dual based (pencil and paper and CBT) and then completely CBT. My younger sister was in primary 6 when I left high school. She graduated and we both wrote together. That was how bad my situation was. It got to the point I told myself, " enough is enough." I decided to take my destiny into my own hands. Even though my level was ways beyond remedial, I still took remedial in the university of Maiduguri although I applied for remedial in two universities. The first was the newly established Nigeria army University Biu and the second is Unimaid. The remedial offer came at the same time and I had my name on both. I decided to go to unimaid because I had a chance to study anything in the medical line. I concluded my remedial with 4.5gp and took jamb again for the 10th year and scored 255. Yes, I applied for medicine again. But this time I was called by the school admission office that, I have met all requirements for admission into unimaid college of medicine because as a remedial student 4.0gp is all that was needed but I gave 4.5, plus my jamb score of 255 which only 220 was required. I remembered what professor Guti, the man in charge of admission, told me, that "I'm sorry MBBS admission is completed but you have the options to choose Radiography, MLS, food science tech, geology, or physiotherapy." Well, I couldn't say anything at that moment but went home to think. I finally chose physiotherapy. Here I'm today in my second year in the faculty of medicine, department of medical rehabilitation (physiotherapy). Guess what? for the first time in my life, I hated applying for MBBS when Physiotherapy was available all along. I love this course like the love of a mother to a child. And I'm so glad I chose physiotherapy.
How to stay motivated to achieve your goals Whatever we do, staying motivated will help us bring the best of it. However, there are certain situations we find ourselves in that would make us think it is all over, or think less about our capabilities to go for that which we aspire. But keeping to the tips we shall be seeing will help your weather any storm. Now, let’s see some basics that you need to keep you motivated, as you aspire to achieve the goal you have set for yourself. **Do things you have passion for**; always do things that you love so much. Sometimes one may get stuck along the way to achieving that which they aspire to. And if you happen to be a person who just does things because they are compelled to do so, or you simply took on an adventure simply because you saw others doing it, then you might easily get frustrated to abandon that course as the going gets tough. You will abandon it because there is no real driving force that propels you beyond the surface of that adventure. But it will be an entirely different ball game if you have a passion for that thing because nothing can really shove you off such an idea or purpose you hope to achieve. Love for a thing you do comes from the most sincere of desire and helps you stay true to yourself, not even the naySayers can talk you off it with their negativity. **Do things early enough**; the right time to do anything is different for everyone. But generally, the best time for it is when you are most convenient to get it done. However, nature may not be too patient for all to be convenient before what should be done is done and that is why we need to learn proper time management. We must learn how to manage our time to make the best use of every tick of the clock and make every beat of the second count. **Self-discipline**; understandably, we want all the best things life would offer. Exotic cars, holidaying in the most expensive places in cities or Island. Having big and beautiful houses and the latest fashion. But we cannot have all these at a time. We must be disciplined enough to know what we should have at a given time even though as much as we would want some stuff that may improve our comfort. Letting go some certain things however much we so wanted them is a sign of maturity that stems from our discipline. They said; “there is always time for everything “, a time to sow and a time to reap, and patience due to self-discipline is always the difference. **Knowledge**; it is very important to be well informed about that goal that is before you. Knowledge is the compass that will help you navigate the most challenging aspect, as you are on the path to achieving your goals. When I say knowledge, I don’t necessarily mean acquiring a degree from a certified institution. Thanks to the internet, just everything you may need has been talked about. However, knowledge can come in different forms; it could be from our past experiences or from the experiences we learn from other people. It could even be from our experimentations. Whichever avenue we choose to acquire knowledge or our knowledge may come from, we must pursue with great interest and aim to fetch that which is beneficial to us, our dreams, and our goals. With these few tips, you are sure to stay motivated to achieve your goals. Thanks for reading.
