The militarists play a very important role in determining the strength of a country, the military keeps the country safe from external attack. Many people wonder about which country is the strongest of all, this article aims to answer that question.
5. Japan
Japan has three hundred and nine thousand (309,000) military personnel which consist of two hundred and forty thousand (240,000) active military personnel, reserve military personnel of fifty-five thousand (55,000) and fourteen thousand (14 000) in paramilitary force the Japanese military has one thousand and four (1004), tanks, one thousand one hundred and forty-nine (1449) aircraft and five hundred and fifty-four (554) helicopters.

China has 3,134,000 military personnel which consists of 2,000,00o active military personnel, reserve military personnel of 510,000 and 624,000 in paramilitary force. The Chinese military has 5,250 tanks, 3,285 aircrafts and 912 helicopters.
Number of submarines in the Chinese navy is 79 and has two aircraft carriers. The budget of the Chinese military is $250 billion. China maintains its military power due to threats mainly from the USA and India and also a dispute in the south China sea.

Russia has 1,350.000 military personnel which consists of 850,000 active military personnel, reserve military personnel of 25,000and two 250, 000 in parliamentary force. The Russian military has 12,420 tanks which makes the Russian military the owner of the largest number of tanks in the world.
Also, Russia has 4173 aircraft and 1540 helicopters. Number of submarines in the Russian navy is 70 and has one aircraft carrier. The budget of the Russian military is $154 billion. Russia maintains its military power due to threats mainly from the USA and its race to become the superpower in the world.

USA has 1,832,000 military personnel which consists of 1,390,000 active military personnel, reserve personnel of 442,000. The us military has 6,612 tanks, 13,247 aircraft and 5,463 helicopters.
Number of submarines in the U.S navy is 68 and has 11 aircraft carriers. The budget of the US military is $770 billion. USA maintain its military power due to threats mainly from China and Russia and to maintain its number one position as the world's most powerful military.
