Three most powerful countries in the world Lead image Power projection has become like an everyday affair now. Nations around the world are continuously ramping up their capabilities and to say in simple words they are doing this to protect themselves from each other. I know some of you may say this sounds stupid but agree or not that's how the world works. https://www.istockphoto.com/photo/capitol-dome-gm118829998-11809607 **1. USA** USA the most powerful country both numerically and technologically and it certainly spends more of its military budget than any other country. The U.S military is equipped with the most advanced tanks, aircrafts, submarines, and ships along with the advanced technology. The U.S military has a lot of experience in fighting wars in different parts of the world, so they have a good battle tested force but having the strongest military is not the only thing that makes them the most powerful nation. It is the alliances that makes the US more secure and stronger. After the end of World War II, U.S and Soviet Union were the only major superpowers, and that time Europe was in a weak position, and they were worried that the soviets might invade them and spread communism in Europe. So, to resist this possible invasion, the U.S formed a collective alliance with 11 other countries, and this was the north Atlantic treaty organization or NATO. This agreement was very simple an armed attack on one member would be regarded as an attack on all of them. Similarly, an agreement was signed with six countries in Asia. When North Korea and China turned communist, these alliances gave the U.S significant importance in world politics. Also, it has given them a significant amount of global military bases and first line of defence. This keeps the U.S homeland safer and all these things make the United States more powerful than anyone. **2. Russia** After the end of World War II, the Soviet Union was the only nation on earth that could go head-to-head with the US. In fact, in some categories they outmatched the US military. In the 80s, Soviet Union had more manpower tanks, tower artillery and submarines than the US but all of this came to a sudden end with the collapse of Soviet Union. Although after the formation of Russian federation in 1991, they acquired most of the soviet-made weapons, but they struggled to maintain them thousands of nuclear weapons tanks aircrafts and submarines began to suffer the effects of budget cuts and now most of them are beyond repair.  In 1988, defense spending of the soviet union was around $250 billion but by 1992 this spending came down to only 40 billion dollars and continued to fall for the rest of the 90s. Then by the start of 2000s, things started to change slowly. The russian economy was growing steadily and so was the defense budget.  In 2008, a massive military reform program was launched. The goal was to reach 70 modernization by the year 2020 and yes they have really achieved most of their goals in the past two decades. russia has modernized their military they created new weapon platforms such as the 5th gen fighter aircrafts air defense systems and advanced cyber warfare capabilities. Also, they have proven some of their weapons in Syria so even if russia is not strong as it was in the 80s, they have covered a great distance. **3. China** China's rise as a military power has become possible because of its rapid economic development The economic growth gave china resources for research and development of weapons. China's military spending has grown steadily since 2000 but in the last decade it took a five-fold shoot and reached nearly $200 billion dollars. Back in the late 70s, most of the chinese weapons were outdated but the story is completely different now. China's air and naval capabilities are catching up with the west. The country has successfully made 5th generation fghter aircrafts, aircraft carriers, nuclear power, submarines, and much more. Even though many experts question their actual capabilities, the technological gap of weapons between the west and china is rapidly getting smaller and today china is the most powerful nation in asia. College days Lead image https://unsplash.com/photos/lCOicPkguis My heart rejoiced at the mention of a democratic system of government. When I went through the various pamphlets of the three political parties, I saw one with a free education manifesto. I thought at least, if it could be put into reality the masses would benefit from it including myself on a mid-way education. My elder brother had refused to come home for a long time, though he was present and spent lavishly during our father's funeral. The money he should have spent to save our father's life, he had used instead for the burial. May God grant my father eternal rest. My brother followed the footsteps of his friends who cared little for their parents that shouldered the expenses of their career. Most of us at Orehi Local Government area rallied around Menyen who was to contest for our constituency on the platform of "The Peoples Party". The party promised a green revolution, free education, equality and ethical reshuffle. Menyen won the election but little did he remember the hands that fed him. I cast my votes for him all in the name of free education but his devotion was only to his household. Despite his refusal to help. God sent a help in the person of Gbadmani, a staunch member of the education department in our local government secretariat who visited our house. He was a distant friend of my father before the latter's death. He pitied my dejected condition and promised to help with my school expenses. He told me that it was hardship that later resulted in the untimely death of my father. My father was said to be the first person to ride on a bicycle in our area. Again, he was the youngest amongst the four people to build zinc-roofed houses in our village. After this, he started having problems which led to his downfall. All these problems came because they believed he was showing off his wealth; a young child prospering under their noses was an abomination, hence they sent him to permanent rest. Gbadmani paid my school fees for two years and later arranged for a scholarship for me. By then the boat of our local government's affairs was being paddled by Papa Abenem, Shaban, Azhuk and Koloman. Any brilliant student who could attain between first to third positions in the colleges were given scholarships. Their educational affairs then became the responsibility of the local government. Papa Abenem was a strict man and he fought for the rights of our teachers to make sure their salaries were paid without delay. He was an erudite person but very humble. He was the first person to acquire a University education in our local government area. Azhuk, on the other hand, was very notorious. He was hated by many people for his open segregation. He believed that the other two tribes, Ba'a and Gu'ri, were inferior and of low mentality compared to him. I fought hard to maintain my first position throughout my secondary school career. At school one day, I was accused of, and cursed for, having soiled and bastardised our culture. It was in form four during a Mathematics lesson that I had some arguments with the Ba'a girl who was sitting next to me. She worked out an equation which I told her was wrong, but she would not take to correction, and I teased her. She got furious and spat on me. I slapped her face immediately and she bit terribly. I was placated by some Ba'a girls around and I forgave her. The matter did not end there as my tribe mates were bent on taking vengeance. They saw no reason why a Ba'a girl should ever insult our tribe - Ibra. The boys told me to apply a duck's excreta on the spot where she bit me. This they believed would make her teeth rot away. When I refused to do that, they beat the girl ruthlessly. The case was reported to the principal and he invited us to his   office. We narrated what happened and we were cautioned and dismissed after four strokes of the cane. My tribe-mates who took part in beating the girl were caned six strokes each. They were then ordered to uproot a big tree in front of the school's dining hall. They refused to do it because the principal was a Gu'ri man, a minority in our area. His instruction was regarded as an insult. The case was reported to the district chief who settled the differences but only for a short while. We were later enrolled to sit for the final examination, the West African School Certificate Examination. Forty of us were registered, the highest number that would be registered since the inception of the school. Hardly could my people leave the waters to attend the strenuous strains of a school. They believed they were born to be fishermen. After the examination was over, we were sent on a holiday to await the result. I went to visit my maternal grandfather during this period and made a name for myself. It happened that my visit was during lake-fishing and he owned a lake known to be very rich in fish. Many people were invited to take part in the fishing contest and to everybody's surprise, I caught a big fish; it was said to be the biggest fish ever to come out of that lake. A special meal was thus prepared for me that evening.   **To be continued…** Special appreciation to @gertu13, @Belozoriana, @BCH_LOVER, @fashtioluwa, and so on for the encouragement and support. Special shout-out to @therandomrewarder for being by my side!

Re-igniting my passion for writing on read.cash/ Saturday's ceremony 30th of April 2022 Lead Image https://unsplash.com/photos/TamMbr4okv4 Good evening to you my wonderful family on read.cash I never knew I was missing a lot until my friend introduced me to this platform since last year but I keep procrastinating until I joined September 2021. So I decided to join with the name @Do4love where I posted series of article but was unable to get the attention of @TheRandomRewarder in which I wasn't really happy. It was a very unfortunate and unpleasant experience. Then after some time, my account got spammed which made me lose interest because I already had a lot of subscribers on that account. Since then I didn't make any attempt to open another one, but I still use to open read.cash to read some interesting articles from the master of life lessons, the dose of Oluwalium himself- Mr @Olasquare, @Princessbusayo cos' she used to be my very good friend then that we even promise to pick a date so she can take me out for shopping and my sponsor @GarrethGrey07 before I got spammed on the previous account. No quite long I went to visit my very good friend @Kristofferquincy he was really mad at me that he introduced me to a great platform (read.cash) and I just gave up like that then he explain to me that he also wrote series of Article before he was able to get the attention of the random rewarder, that the random rewarder visited his 11th article and he never gave up and also sight an example of a good friend of his @FashTioluwa that he also wrote series of article that he was at the point of giving up before he could also get Rusty's attention, this is the article Link https://read.cash/@FashTioluwa/curse-or-badluck-which-one-is-it-random-rewarder-1e3bab00 Until I decided to join few days ago and I thank God for the wonderful people I meet, you are all awesome. I got encouraged by people like @Oikawa, @gertu13, @Belozoriana, @Ellen-he, @BCH_LOVER, and many others to mention a few. Their encouragement has allowed me to be able to come this far and I'm grateful to have them by my side. Fast forward to today Today being the last Saturday of the month, I woke up very early to observe the environmental sanitation as is normally observed in Nigeria which is every last Saturday of the months. Yesterday one of my friend invited me to his father final burial which is meant to hold today but I never wish to be there because the way the do burial here is really strenuous. It takes a lot of time. They would have to do night of songs for the deceased. That's if the deceased is a Christian and take such person to church the next day but it varies different church with different doctrine churches like Christ Apostolic church (C.A.C). Don't take corpse to church they only do the service at home while churches like Anglican do take corpse to church for service, immediately after the service they go straight to the cemetery 🪦 and bury the corpse before the children would now go for reception to party. A very stressful process which I do not appreciate. I prefer the Indian way, @Theblackdoll can relate, I guess since she's a woman of culture. Where they simply cremate the body and the ash is either thrown to the sea or kept depending on the decision by the family. I hope the information given to us in movies is correct. So I initially wanted to reject his invitation to the burial but he's a very good friend of mine hance I'm left with no other options than to follow him, which is why my post is coming late today. I'd like you all to know that I'm beginning to enjoy my stay on read.cash and it's becoming my new addiction- at least I'm not addicted to drugs lol! I'm addicted to BCH. In lieu of the burial, is like you peeps to share with me in the comment section how final burials are done in your respective countries according to your culture. Thanks for reading!

Five (5) most paid actors in the world 29th of April 2022 Lead Image https://unsplash.com/photos/p6rNTdAPbuk **5. Will smith** With a net worth of over $35 million, surely most of you know Will smith's road to fame began in the 90s. Acting in the still known show fresh prince of bel-air was enough breakthrough for him. He wanted more and he got more. In 1996, he made the true break from television to movies. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098800/ The fresh prince of bel air show made him as a big-name actor and led him to landing roles in Men in black, Enemy of the state, and Bad boys. I have to admit that these movies are one of my favourites of will smith. Throughout all of this, he earned a lot of money. Since the 1990s, his career has continued to grow. Most recently, he played the genie in Aladdin which earned him about 12 million dollars **4. Jackie Chan**  Jackie Chan is one of the oldest and perhaps one of the most well-known actors. His career began way back in the 1960s when he got small roles as a child. He struggled to get acting roles as an Asian actor against more well-known stars. In 1998, he acted the very popular Rush hour movies. Years passed and he became one of the world's biggest celebrities. He owns many luxurious properties in Beverly hills, Beijing, Miami and Hong Kong. His Beverly hills home is worth 6.7 million dollars, it's about 30,000 square feet with a massive wine cellar a recreation hall and a few spa areas. **3. Akshay Kumar** With a net worth of $65 million, Akshay Kumar proves that Hollywood is not the only place where you can make money from acting. Akshay Kumar is in Bollywood actor who earned 65 million dollars in 2019. He started many tv shows and played in many Bollywood movies since the 1990s. Since then he has taken part in over 150 films. In 2019, he started in the film kassari which earned him 28 million dollars. He owns an incredible seaside duplex in Mumbai. the home has a massive front garden floor-to-ceiling windows and indoor pool and a huge suite. **2. Robert Downey jr.** With 66 million dollars, Robert Downey jr popularly known as tony stark is a billionaire who earned 66 million dollars with his acting career. and I think everyone knows from where he earned this money from.  $55 million came from avengers endgame. He is the second highest paid actor with his films. He owns a 3.8 million home in malibu that has three bedrooms three baths and a swimming pool. **1. Dwayne Johnson** Also known as the rock has an incredible net worth of 86.4 million dollars. The highest paid actor of 2019 is none other than Dwayne the Rock Johnson who has earned over 86.4 million dollars.  Most people know the rock got his start as a professional wrestler in the 1990s and this was after he played football professionally in 2001. He started as the scorpion king in the mummy returns, he quickly became one of the most recognizable actors playing in one of my favorite movies the fast and the furious and many other blockbuster comedy films.  He owns a $5 million mansion in florida and up to  $9 million farm in Georgia. The 8 bedroom mansion has a pool, a cabana, a wood paneled library a 12 stalled horse barn and several pastures in riding areas.

A Newbie's goal on read.cash 28th of April 2022 Lead Image https://unsplash.com/photos/3EnlBPEgIxM Hello everyone, this is my second post on read.cash and I must say that it's been a wonderful experience so far. as mentioned in **my first post**, I'm not a very good writer and was initially sceptical about making my introductory article. I was able to gather the courage to write the first article thanks to encouragement from several people. https://read.cash/@QueenOlivia/first-post-on-readcash-51461367 Surprisingly, regardless of my flaws and grammatical errors. my first post was received with love from several people such as @gertu13. @bmjc98, @princessbusayo, @Amback_forgood, @Freedom007, @Garrethgrey07, dose of Oluwalium @Olasquare, @renren16, @Belozoriana, @Kuki17, @Belozoriana, @Oikawa, and so on. This encouragement has really given me more reasons to feel more confident in my writing as I’m still in the learning process. In lieu of this, I'm writing my second article with the hope that it will also be received with love and lots of encouragement from more users on this platform. As mentioned yesterday, I look forward to meeting new people, making more friends I'm having a lot of fun here on read.cash. I also intend to improve my writing skills. This can only be possibly via constant interaction and networking, and I’m willing to put in the necessary effort to make sure that I grow daily and earn some Bitcoin cash (BCH) while in a bid to build my finance. I have a lot of things I intend to achieve on this platform and I’m not willing to give up until I achieve them. They may not seem like a lot to a majority of people but it’s actually a lot to me considering that I’m just beginning my writing journey on this platform. **Interact with 10 or more users daily** This may seem like a piece of cake to a lot of people but since I’m just starting here, I intend to begin with reading and interacting with at least ten articles per day, after which I’d increase this number. I intend to do this as a means of getting more people to know that someone called ‘QueenOliver’ is now on read.cash and is here to stay. I’d be making a lot of meaningful comments on people’s posts and will be making a lot of friends in the process. **Improve my writing skills** The best and only way to improve my writing skills is by writing. In lieu of this, I intend to write one article per day. I know it may not be as easy as I make it sound, yet I’m going to push myself daily until my writing skills improve. I know some days are better than most- writing inspiration may vanish on some days, the zeal to get out of my comfort zone may be inexistent, but I’m telling myself I’d push through each obstacle until my goal is achieved. Today my writing skill may not be as good as that of people like @Tomi-Ajax, @Oikawa and the boss lady @Jane and crypto lord @Pantera, but with time I’d get better at it. **Get sponsored** I have no idea how this works for now, but I’ve been told to activate my sponsors block after which sponsors may come in. I’m doing this immediately after this article and I’d simply observe what’s gonna come out of it and how well it works. I’m still new and still in the process of learning what makes this platform tick, hence I’m simply doing certain things blindly for now without a know-how. My sponsors block will be activated shortly after and I’m hoping to get sponsorship requests from several users provided they find my content meaningful and interesting. **Write quality articles and Earn Bitcoin cash (BCH)** Quality is the major watchword of this platform; hence I intend to write original and quality articles that will attract a lot of readers. This can only be achieved by consistent writing, reading other people’s posts to see what makes them special, and doing a lot of research so I can provide my readers with informative content which will be appreciated, and will want to make them come back for more. Altogether, I hope to gather a lot of followers on this platform and earn some BCH while also improving myself daily. Maybe one day I’d be a Filipino millionaire like @bmjc98 and @Eirolfeam2 - who has over 10 BCH in their portfolio. I hope to reach that amount of BCH soon. I want to say a special shout out to @TheRandomRewarder for encouraging me during my first post. I also wanna say a thank you to everyone who encouraged me and provided me with the confidence to write daily. I wouldn’t let you down.

First post on read.cash 27th of April 2022 Lead Image https://unsplash.com/photos/1_CMoFsPfso This is my first article here on read.cash as a new user. I’ve been sceptical about writing my introductory post as I didn’t know where to begin. Procrastination has also been a major problem since I’m not a very good writer and the fear of writing is existent in me. I simply gathered the courage to write this article thanks to @kristofferquincy who encouraged me with the words “it doesn’t have to be perfect, just get started”. Here I am making an attempt at a first article, and I sincerely hope I’d be received with a lot of love regardless of my mistakes. I’d like to introduce myself- I’m Queen Oliver, username @QueenOliver. I’d like to say I’m a writer but I’m still in the process of learning, hence I’d simply say that I’m an aspiring writer, a gamer, and a crypto enthusiast. I’m not very knowledgeable about the crypto space but I’m still learning and will continue to learn. There’s not much to say about me apart from the fact that I love meeting new people, making friends and having a lot of fun. I believe this platform will provide me with a lot of fun as I’d like to meet a lot of people all over the world. Since I’m not a good writer, I’ve taken time to study the way a lot of people on this platform write and I’m looking to create my own style based on what I’ve observed in the past few weeks. I know @Bmjc98 writes about her Pegaxy gameplay and Axie infinity under the AxieBCH server which I’ve always been interested in. @kristofferquincy told me a lot about her and how wonderful a person she is. @Justmyrambles01 is a wonderful fur mom in South Africa, I see her dog in almost all of her posts which I find wonderful. I sometimes wish I had my own dog too. I’ve come across wonderful people like @Jane, @Olasquare and his dose of Oluwalium, @Prncessbusayo, @Belozoriana, @King_gozie, @Oikawa, @Tomi-Ajax, and many more. I’ve read through their articles and I’m learning a lot from them in terms of everyday life, cryptocurrency BCH and improving my writing skills. My Hobbies I have only a few hobbies which are- playing games, travelling, meeting new people, making friends, seeing movies, reading comic books, making money which is the boss of it all especially BCH since I’m now in the crypto-space, reading and enjoying myself altogether in my own little way, and many more. As I can’t possibly mention them all. My interests I’m interested in meeting people from all around the world, learning about new cultures, languages and beliefs, and interested in understanding what makes people who and what they are, what makes them tick and what motivates them to push forward. Long story short- I’m interested in learning about human nature and why we do what we do. It’s not much of an interest but it’s something worth considering. What I intend to achieve on read.cash Although I intend to improve my writing skills, I’m majorly looking forward to earning some Bitcoin cash (BCH) because I believe that Bitcoin is cash, and nothing can be compared to it based on the advantage of faster transaction and lower transaction fees. I believe in BCH and I intend to earn a lot of it through consistency in writing and interaction so I can be among those that will reap the benefit of its eventual general acceptance as a legal tender (a means of exchange). I’m looking forward to improving my finance via the BCH earned and also looking forward to beginning a $1 to $2 a day savings plans similar to what people like @Tengolotodo, @Ellehcim and many more are doing. Conclusion This is my first post on read.cash and I’m looking forward to writing a lot more as long as @therandomrewarder is by my side. I’d be doing a lot of interaction in a bid to be recognised by a lot of people on this platform and will be writing high quality articles that will attract more readers to my articles. Special shout out to @Pachuchay, @gertu13 and @Theblackdoll. I love you all.
