Weighed Down By The True Value Of Time
I have recently been thinking a lot about timing and money and literally this equation really started to connect with me "Time equals money". When you work for yourself or even when you're a hourly employee you are constantly reminded of your hourly rate and thatvis how much you could be making. And if you worked an extra hour you're always faced with an opportunity cost which is the next best option that you could have made with your time.
No matter what you're doing you still have an alternative option, should you watch another episode of a Netflix series and maybe some very new interesting movie or should you just stay on writing without getting distracted.
This way of thinking about it does have its advantages because if we value time against a hard monetary number then we may be more intentional with our time, we would spend it wisely and derive more value from it. But it also has its disadvantages, because again you're constantly being weighed down by the true value of time and what more can be achieved which can get really be depressing. You will always think about it this was "what else could I be doing, I'm just feeling bored and enjoying life after spending lots of hours working straight" .
Our perception of time is now much faster over our life time and because the existence of time as a percentage of our lives decreases over time. When we where kids our 24 hours is always 24hours and we will play and sleep all through the day that it become really slow. But when we grow and become occupied with life works and challenges it becomes a small fraction and 1 year takes significantly less time to pass than before, so basically time differs with age and responsiblity.
Have you ever experience this before? like when you write or maybe do something else and you feel like you're already in the zone, flowing and you feel really connected to whatever task you're doing. It happens that way when you don't get distracted. Unfortunately it's really rare to accomplish that, when we see a popped up notification or get distracted from house duties or work schedules.
What if our eyes are always glued to our screens and all other things that could come in our way are turned off and our focus is 100%, you will notice that you and I will be able to write 3 to 5 articles in a day and that would be worth doing. You will have enough time writing and feel really productive and at the same time much more focused as well.
Imagine if you could finish your work faster so that you have more time and more focus to do other things and when you focus deeper in those other things, then those task will also take less time thereby effectively giving you more time in your day. I am terrible at being mindful but if you can stick to those moments, you won't wonder around things that really doesn't make you productive.
Sometimes in life we feel that we are really against time and our brain tells us to rush our way through which makes us less productive, it will be much harder to complete our work during a short time. Therefore time will always pass by faster and the best thing to do is fill our days with new experiences and new knowledge which would trigger our brain to process more.... try out something that can help you stay focused.
I feel bad when I fall short of this and i can't say more than that. I still try to adapt to my own set out standards of timing. I hope we can stay on track each day to be more open in whatsoever we do.

Time is really our enemy here while sailing our journey but time can be our greatest ally if we know how to spend it wisely and surely.. Some people are just wastijg it sometimes in unnecessary things.and I'm guilty also about that.
