Boosting Your Productivity
In everything we do, we always want to see the results of our efforts. This is where we always struggle or fall short of. The consistency of producing results which we can replicate with most of the things we do, is what we really want. I for one struggle in producing consistent results and I only make changes when and where I need to, to compensate or adjust to produce the desired results.
Productivity by definition is the effectiveness of productive effort, especially in the industry, as measured in terms of the rate of output per unit of input. But, I will not get into the technicalities used in the industry, as I'm not an expert on that field 😅. I'll just be sharing with you my opinions and thoughts about productivity that I myself have learned through my own experiences.
Set daily goals for each day
By setting goals each day, you get to plan out how you are going to start your day and how you are going to end the day. This goes better than going in gung-ho with the tasks that you need to do. If you do, you'll end up wasting your precious time jumping from one task to another without ever completing one at the end of your day.
If you have things to do that would take a half day to a day, better to focus on it than having to insert other tasks in between that you can't complete within a 30 minute time period. The time can change, I just gave you an example, to give perspective. Because inserting other tasks that would take longer than your planned allotted time will also push back your main goal for the day. So, better to stick with what you have set for the day to complete.
Avoid multi-tasking
As much as possible, try to avoid multi-tasking, as it takes you to transition from one task to another longer instead of a steady flow of doing the processes for a single task. If you can't really avoid to be multi-tasking, you need to plan out also what you can do at the same time or in succession, relative to the other tasks that you want to multi-task to. There are things that you need to do in a certain location, why not group all those tasks together and do it one at a time have nce you go to that location. Instead of having to jump from one place to another, with time being wasted on getting to and from that location to another.
Work in short and controlled bursts
Doing the things that you need to do in short and controlled bursts will improve your productivity than having your time allocated to one task but have little to no progress in completing it in a day. There is a need to plan out your activities if you plan to work like this. Meaning everytime you execute a portion of that plan, there is a time frame of completion and then move to the next phase of the plan.
Take regular breaks
When you have finished a task, have a break before you start another task. When you have been working straight for 30 minutes without shying away from your computer's monitor, take a break. Stand up and walk away from your table and stretch out your body. Have your breaks in regular intervals, as not to have your work stress build up in your body. After a two-minute break, get back to your table and work again.
Listen to music that gets you in the zone
There has been studies conducted on the use of music or sounds to improve people's productivity. And I think they have truth to it, as I for one sometimes listed to mellow or RnB music in the background for me to effectively focus on what I need to do. This helps way better when your background has other noise generating distractions that will surely get your productivity down.
Also the music or sounds that can help you may not be focused on what is in the top 30 billboard charts. Let those music be reserved for your off work "me" time.
Manage your Inbox
As for work that is heavily dependent on emails, this one cannot be avoided. You must find a way to manage your inbox. Focus on reading those with the exclamation point emails, those are tagged important. Even if you are not the direct recepient of the email, the point that you were included means you at least need to know the contents of the email. Next is you should learn to skim through your emails with those that are urgent, priority and for your general information only.
Bring it outside
There are times when your work cannot be done on your comfy work area or home, and you need to change your surrounding by taking it outside. It may only be outside your home or the surrounding area of your community, the point here is to have a change of environment that would help you break your monotonous cycle seen by your working eyes.
Look After Yourself
The biggest asset is still yourself. Don't be neglecting your health, both physical and mental. If you do, your productivity will suffers, big time. So take a rest and have a short break or better yet, have a much needed sleep and shut your eyes with no lingering thoughts about what you need to do. Let your brain cells have a rest and your body to recover its strength. Having a good 6-8hours of uninterrupted sleep can make you work for a double shift or you can even burn the midnight oil and have an all-nigher.
CLOSING THOUGHTS
There are a lot of ways to increase or boost your own productivity. The tips I mentioned above may work for me, but not for you or can work for you with just a tweak here and there. As for how to know that you need to change things, that depends on the current situation you're in. The point here is to have a guide that later on can be your system to always have your productivity at a high level with minimal losses of your very precious time.
Thank you for reading up to this point. I hope that it gave you an idea that you can adopt for yourself to improve your own productivity. I would like to hear your thoughts or even your own tips on boosting your own productivity. I may learn from it as well. Remember, continue to learn something new everyday makes our brain boost its productivity too.

Spending Sundays...
According to the Bible, Sunday is the seventh day in which the Lord has taken His rest after completing His creation. For us, Sunday is the day we go to church and hear mass. To hear the word of the Lord delivered to us by the presiding priest. We intently listen to the Homily given by the priest, as this is where we are made to realize the readings in our daily lives.
Since the time of pandemic last year, going to church to hear mass has been put to a halt. Now, we have transitioned to hear mass over the television or by any other video sharing app available. Or, for the most of us, we just have our family together and keep ourselves in the presence of God and give our thanks for all the blessings we have received.
As for the rest of the day, we spend it by having to take care of the house chores that was not finished the day before. Or for some, are just starting to do it. If we have a good day, house chores would be done on the morning or early afternoon. After that, we dedicate our time in having some bonding time with our family.
Now we start with the fun part, the real opportunity for us to have to spend time with our family. We can go about it in numerous ways, so long as we have fun with the family. Typically we just want to unwind and feel the fresh air in our face so we go out and have a leisurely walk around the block with our fur pets in tow. Watching our fur pets get the fresh air and new environment to play around can bring a calmness to our being. Or if you don't have pets, no worries, just spending time with nature has its own soothing effect on us. Some may even plan their whole afternoon on the park, having a picnic and good time with friends and family.
Or, if you prefer to be just a home buddy with the family, a movie marathon never gets old. Any genre will do, or better yet, have a play list for the family to enjoy. As for me, we just search randomly and select by vote which movie we will watch. As I am writing this article, we have already finished a couple of movies. And if you're following me at noise.cash, you would know what movies I'm talking about. Or better yet, check out my posts below:
https://noise.cash/post/lq0z32p3
and
https://noise.cash/post/1w686qrn
Enjoying watching movies can get your family bond closer together. You can have discussions about the things that you have seen on the movie. This is also one way of having those Parental Guidance tagged movies to be watched with your children.
Closing Thoughts
Having to spend your Sunday the best way is always going to be challenge, as a day of rest is not enough for you to do all the things that you want to do. The important thing is to be able to spend it with your family and loved ones while regaining your strength and revitalizing your spirit.
Now, off to the next movie for me and my family. Thank you for reading until the end.

Everybody Loves The Weekend But...
I was thinking awhile back what to use as a topic to write about. And it's the weekend, why not write about it. So, this is my prompt for today's article. It's all about the weekend.
Most of us are always on the lookout for the weekend. Why? Primarily because we have that free time for ourselves to do the things that we want to do. Or even have that planned weekend getaway that has been planned for so long you can't wait to get it started. And for some, just want to have that lone time to contemplate and reminisce about the times that made a mark on their lives.
The expectation
Before the pandemic hit, most of us are always on the lookout for those weekend getaways that have been packaged and can cater to a small group of people typically eyeing for a 6-8 number of persons in a group. And these kinds of packages have been plastered all over social media especially travel blogs that would have reviews of a specific tourist attraction or an up and coming tourist destination. Such a time have been heavily hit since we had the pandemic and we can do nothing about it. Some have even been stranded on location due to the travel ban imposed at that time.
Others may have opted for a simple weekend over at the local mall, and go to watch the latest craze on the cinema that have brought out throngs of people to watch it. And after that, have a cozy dinner over at their favorite restaurant, eating their delicately selected food for the night. Then have a stroll around the mall and find their favorite spot to watch the night sky and talk about anything to pass the time.
While others, just choose to be at home and have their home entertainment at the ready and get their barbecue grill setup and all the food prepared as they're going to have a party with close friends and co-workers just to unwind. Spend their time talking about stuff they did over the week and their up and coming plans for the next week and so on. The important thing here is to relax and keep in touch with them after a week of getting work done and grinding day by day.
The reality
Fast forward to our present time, the things I mentioned above are still far from getting back on track, as we still have a high number of covid-19 cases here and there. And with that we are stuck on our own homes, left with our devices, to connect with the outside world.
Other than that, we also take time and get those house chores that has been piling up over the week and get it done. Be it doing the laundry, cleaning the kitchen, maintenance of the freezer, or trimming the grass outside the house. Some may even say, to take their time and do some gardening for those who are plantitos and plantitas.
And after doing all that, we find time to relax with watching those new shows or the latest craze over at Netflix or any other site that has that show on their list. Some would also opt for watching a complete series of a kdrama or cdrama that has been talked about in detail over social media or even just having their favorite actor in it.
Final Thoughts
Gone are the days when we can only grab our back pack with our daily essentials and needs and go on an adventure for the weekend. We need to plan for it carefully as there are now safety protocols and travel passes that needs to be acquired before you can go to your destination. And also, always prepare something on the side in case of emergency.
As for most of us, we can only spend the weekend at home with our family. But that is what's important, to be with family and have that family bond strengthened. This can be done by doing activities such as watching movies, educational games, or learning a new skill like cooking or making art. It's your choice how to spend this precious weekend time with your family.

Shuttle Service: The Perks
***The Covid-19 pandemic really have changed the landscape of our daily lives. Be it in our homes, our work and our society. One affected aspect in our daily life is also our way of transportation to and from our work. This is the topic I am sharing today.***
This time of pandemic, shuttle services nowadays have become more and more the norm of transportation. With employers giving consideration to the safety and welfare of their employees and their company's operations as a whole. They have opted to hire additional shuttle services for their workforce to comply with the circulating minimum safety protocols with regards to shuttle services.
Fortunately for my company, they have opted to hire additional shuttle services for thier employees. Also exchanging the type of transportation from buses to vans. This move made it easier for employees to be picked up from their homes or at least at the nearest accessible route available for the shuttle service. This in turn, lessen the exposure of employees from the outside world in consideration to the ongoing condition of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In effect, this also lessened the transportation expenses of employees, as they don't need to commute from their homes to the pickup point, and vice versa. At this point, employees who opted to be dropped off at town or any other location can do so, as long as it is within the driving route of the shuttle service is ok.
Another perk that can be derived from what I have said above is the preparation time of employees to be picked up. Meaning, instead of having to leave their homes and commute to the normal pickup point, they just have to worry about being in their designated new pickup points. Which means, longer sleep time or shorter preparation time to go to work is needed by the employees.
Furthermore, having to be picked up at the nearest designated pick up point during these rainy season has been an added benefit as you don't have to worry about getting soaking wet before you go to work when there is heavy downpour. You can wait at home for the shuttle service right before it comes to the pickup point, provided you are in communication with any of the passengers/co-workers in your shuttle service.
Most important perk of all is the lessened accessibility or opportunity of the Covid-19 virus to have a chance to affect the active workforce. Of course, we are taking our own personal and work precautionary measures against the spread of the Covid-19 virus serious. We still wear our face mask and face shield even inside the shuttle service.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Having been provided with a shuttle service have really been a great convenience to everyone (employees and employer alike) because of the perks that I have mentioned in detail above. It was well received by the employees when even the sitting capacity was reduced to accommodate the governing policies of having only 9 passengers instead of 18 passengers.
I do believe that even if we go back to normal or at least the new normal, our shuttle service will still continue with this arrangement. Unless, there will be amendments on the implementing safety protocols in our country or specifically for the working sector.

Having Fun With smartBCH
Honestly, I started out late with my adoption of smartBCH. And I really missed a lot. I missed by a lot! I missed the opportunity for EBEN and CATS, because these two smartBCH tokens were the first ones that I heard of during the launch of Benswap DEX (decentralized exchange).
I learned about smartBCH in noise.cash as a lot of veteran noisers have been posting about it last month, August. I was intrigued by it and started to read all information I can from those posts. I even went to youtube for information about smartBCH.
https://smartbch.org/
Metamask wallet
First thing I needed to learn was how to use or have it in my existing wallet. I was using then coins.ph and bitcoin.com as my main and secondary wallets for BCH. I also had Trustwallet but I rarely use it. The information I got was smartBCH is best with the Metamask wallet. So I downloaded the Metamask app from Google playstore. After that, I needed to manually include the network for smartBCH. When that was done. I needed to fund my Metamask wallet's smartBCH. And since I learned that smartBCH is in the SEP20 network, a bridge is needed to have the normal BCH be used in the smartBCH. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.metamask
CoinFLEX bridge
This is where CoinFLEX comes in, I accessed the site and linked my Metamask smartBCH wallet address. In this process, I needed to do it several times but was successful in linking my Metamask smartBCH wallet to CoinFLEX. Since it's my first time to use the bridge, I went to the deposit section and selected BCH, copied the BCH address of my CoinFLEX account and went to my bitcoin.com wallet to deposit a dollar first just to try out if it is successful. After waiting a minute, my deposit of a dollar BCH was credited. This time, I went to the withdraw section of CoinFLEX and selected the SEP20 tab, copied my Metamask smartBCH wallet address and pasted it on the SEP20 address input section and selected MAX amount (I saw my deposited dollar BCH amount in this withdraw tab). Clicked confirm and waited for at least three minutes before my withdrawal was completed. By this time, my Metamask smartBCH wallet has a dollar smartBCH already. Yay! I can start buying smartBCH tokens with my dollar smartBCH 😁. But before that, I added more BCH to my smartBCH. https://coinflex.com/user-console/login
Benswap DEX
To buy smartBCH tokens, I needed Benswap DEX. This is where you can do your exchange for your smartBCH to any smartBCH token you want. The first token that I bought was Bitcoin Cash Argentina or ARG. Why ARG? To show support at the time for the project. I'm still hodling my ARG tokens. https://dex.benswap.cash/#/swap
You can play around with the exchange tokens with BCH to see how much you can have with the amount you placed or have a set amount of smartBCH tokens to a value of smartBCH.
Although there are other available smartBCH DEX right now, that would be for another time. I need to explore them myself first.
marketcap.cash
You can have a clearer picture on the current prices of smartBCH tokens at marketcap.cash. You can also find the percent change in price in 1H, 24H and 7Days time period. You can also see the liquidity, marketcap and supply of the tokens. And most importantly the Contract Address of the token can be copied on the right side of the token entry. https://www.marketcap.cash/
This is where I usually hang out when I'm not on noise.cash and read.cash. Just exploring and clicking on the different tokens. You may see me posting screenshots of marketcap.cash on noise.cash just to share the current price of smartBCH tokens. And my thoughts or opinions about them.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Having explored the smartBCH sidechain, it opened another opportunity for BCH to flourish. There are more transactions on the blockchain that fosters a great ecosystem and truly made the user base larger. This also brought various projects that has a good use case. Although, there are projects that seemed to be a scam (or became a scam). Overall, the smartBCH sidechain's purpose is living up to its objective.
With smartBCH, users have another avenue to buy, sell, hodl tokens that they favor and in time make profit from them. Some have profited handsomely already, and continue to do so everyday. With new smartBCH tokens that are being adopted every week, smartBCH is here to stay.

NOISE.CASH Changed My Daily Life
***Hello there, I know a lot of users have already shared their stories here about noise cash. And I would like to share mine too. Also, sharing is caring and this would also be an appreciation entry for noise.cash too. I hope you enjoy reading it, as I did writing it. If you are done, don't forget to share your thoughts too in the comments.***
Before stumbling upon noise.cash back in late February of this year, I was just busy claiming faucets and trying out bitcoin games as a way to past the time. I even tried my luck with doing some trades using my wallet, coins.ph. But unfortunately, I was not lucky, well I'll just charge it to experience. Ignorance and ill-equipped with the things that I needed to know before doing things made me a better me.
When I heard about noise.cash, I was with a GC catering to a different social platform. Noise.cash was introduced as a social media platform where you got to be rewarded with BCH that can be automatically deposited to your coins.ph wallet. I was intrigued and on boarded immediately.
Start of my noise.cash journey
My journey with noise.cash was a bumpy one. Being an introvert myself, I was not very expressive or vocal about my opinions or even my thoughts. The first couple of weeks was a learning process for me. I started with posting inspirational or motivational quotes that inspired and motivated me as well. I have even included my personal thoughts about it. That got me to receive some hearts and it was a great feeling.
After about a month, the update at that time to the noise.cash platform algorithm made me part of the long list of users that were marked as spammers. During that time, I would be a hypocrite if I didn't say I was pissed! But, I still continued on with my journey. There were also varying opinions and tips that were circulating at that time to make another account, abandon the first one, and build the second one. But I didn't do that, I stayed with my original account.
Continued to post everyday, 5-6 times a day. Interact with other users. Build connections, know some of their personal tastes and interests. That get me going even if I didn't get any tips. How long was I out, it was probably a month and a half. Not sure about it, as I didn't really count. But definitely, more than a month. I was enjoying myself with the information that I was getting from the noise.cash community.
Then, another update on the noise cash platform algorithm happened. I think, this was around June. And in this update, I was able to receive some value from the hearts that was given on my posts. My patience and persistence paid off. I was elated and opted to post more. But that was not a good move as there are instances that I don't receive any value from the hearts that I got. So, I went back to the usual posting of every two hours.
Fast forward to now, I am thankful that I have gained so much support from old and new noisers alike. Posting for 3 or more hours in between have been beneficial so far. As well as, making more interaction with the community, and sharing useful and thoughtful information.
Start of my read.cash journey
I officially started my read.cash journey at the start of this month, October, to be one of my October goals. And I'm so glad that I have broken the wall of my procrastination. I was planning on doing an article a day as recommended by most users, especially @bmjc98, @Pachuchay, and @MrsPepper27 . Although it is not a strict rule but a good start. If ever I miss to make one entry a day, I could still catch up the next day. This is my tenth article as of now, meaning I already missed a day without an article. But playing catch up is hard for me to do for now. So I'll just make it up in the future. Yes, I said future as I would like to continue writing articles here in read.cash. And hopefully be recognized by other writers and readers alike, most especially by Rusty 😁.
FINAL THOUGHTS
My daily life has been changed by noise.cash as my other daily activities have been put on hold or already at the back seat. Noise.cash has been a positive change in my life, as it has become a source of positivity and inspiration to better myself. Interacting with the noise.cash community have brought a ton of good information for me to use to better myself and my future.
I have learned the great benefits of BCH, earning, trading and saving BCH. There is also the smartBCH sidechain with its growing number of tokens that can bring limitless opportunity to earn as well. I'll include also the option of owning NFTs, learning new opportunities with P2E games, cryptocurrency, smartBCH and others.
As much as I stayed patient and persistent with noise.cash before, I would do the same with read.cash. And I would only be successful with my goal, with your help, the read.cash and noise.cash communities. And for that, I'm thanking you in advance for your support.

Get Ready To Be Swindled!
***Hello read.cash community! It's that time of the month again! What time you ask? It's one of the most trending events of every month. Today is the day to get your fingers ready on those check out buttons 😁.***
Have you catched on, on what I meant on the title? If you have not, let me share it with you about it. This is about the event sale of the two most popular online shops in Philippines, namely Lazada's and Shopee's monthly sale that corresponds to the number of the current month and its day counterpart. So, since today is **October 10**, we have the monthly sale as **10.10 October Sale.**
Importance of Online Shops
Having online shops at this time of pandemic has really help countless people, who cannot get access to badly needed items for their consumption or use. At the same time, there are those who really chose to do their shopping online. Some say, it is more economical and time saving which I also agree. But this depends on what item we are talking about. Which ever the reason is, online shops really has changed the way people do their shopping nowadays.
Be Smart, Not Impulsive
When it comes to doing your online shopping, you should be able to discern what are your requirements in choosing an item before you even open up your favorite app. Also, you have to make comparison of the same item with other online sellers or shops. Take into account of the origin of the item if it to ship from overseas ot locally available. The reviews of the seller can also boost your confidence level to purchase your item with them. As well as reviews of the item you are looking into if previous buyers are contented with their purchase of the item you are looking to purchase. Don't rush your purchase wherein you pick the first item you come across with and proceed to checkout.
There may be chances where you are offered with a large discount if it is bundled. But try to check the items if you buy them separately. You may be shocked that you are paying more in a bundle than getting a discount in price.
Also be meticulous, on the small details like size, color, no of items, or even the design of the item. It may be trivial to some but your expectations should be met, as you are the buyer.
Be Collected, Not All Over The Place
If your doing your shopping, try to do it on one online app, this would make it easier for you and not complicated. If you can't avoid doing it because your selected items are from different sellers and are not available on both apps, be collected on your purchases. Check in with the online chat service if it is available for that seller. Get the information you need before deciding your purchase.
Keep Details and Track Your Purchases
Its best if you keep all the details of your purchases and track your purchases in a timely manner. Get in touch with the seller if you need to and if it is available. Whichever online shops you chose to purchase from, they have their tracking services for all purchases. This is a great service to use as it avoids the need to communicate with the seller everytime, and all you need to do is track them online.
Once your purchase is delivered, its best to unpack and verify them immediately if you have got what you purchased. Hopefully, everything is as per your ordered details.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Having these sale events really has its own perks, but at the same time has its hidden traps. Buyers, like ourselves need to be ever so vigilant when we buy things on online stores. If we need to nitpick each and every detail that would affect our decision to buy the item, do so. Make comparisons on the same items on other online stores which would give you a better deal. In the end, what we want is what we should get.
HAPPY SHOPPING!
*If you have reached this part, thank you for giving your time to read my thoughts and I hope you have gained something beneficial for you.*

Parenting 101: From a Father's Perspective
***Hello everyone here at read.cash and visitors alike! I would like to share my thoughts about parenting our children at this current time that we are all in. These are solely based on my experiences and observations. Feel free to express your opinion and observations of your own in the comment section.***
Nobody really is prepared to know what parents should do when they are expecting a child. Yes, there are limitless videos and tutorials available in the internet. Not including those coming from print form like books or phamplets. Including of course those highly educated and trained professionals. Don't get me wrong, all of them are good and some are even great. But, when I was starting out to be a father, these were not available to me. The first hand information that I have is how I was brought up. The second is from those around me, my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law.
When you are living with your in-laws, there are bound to be struggles and misunderstandings along the way. I mean, no one is exempt from that kind of situation I think. But when it comes to parenting, you learn to listen to your elders, at least when your child is still a baby until the toddler years 😊. It's a different story when your child starts to attend school already.
From the first day until toddler years
From the day my daughter was born, me and my wife were heavily dependent on my mother-in-law in rearing our baby. As they say, mother's knows best. And where best to learn good parenting skills, none other than, from a mother who brought 12 children into the world. And also, there is my sister-in-law who have been invaluable in taking care of my child.
From when our daughter was old enough to attend school, she started attending day care at 4years old 😁. And even graduated as the best student of the batch. The decision to enroll her was ours (me and my wife) to make and we did so in good intentions, which paid of. As we also observed the curiousity of our daughter seeing her cousin attend the day care also.
From kinder to grade school
Moving to kinder and enrolling our daughter different from her cousin's school was also our decision, which made some issues with my in-laws, nothing major and was smoothen out with good open conversation 😁. Also by this time, we were already living separately from our in-laws, one of the reasons we opted for a different school.
In every passing year, me and my wife are very adamant in rearing our daughter. ***Although, we provide the liberties of what she likes and wants to do. This is for her to discover what works for her and for us also, to decide if we're ok with it.*** There are really times when we have to do trial and error, to see what's best for us, as a family.
***As a parent, you must be really observant of the behavioral patterns that your child makes, you can discover what type of personality that your child is nurturing.*** For me, it's a great thing that my daughter is the jolly type one, expresses her laughter and smile when she's happy. And she's not that hard to please. A simple candy or a chocolate bar as "pasalubong" is good enough for her.
***Also, be decisive on when to teach your child on the basics of doing house chores.*** It is one activity that you could share your bond with your child. Children are naturally against it, but this is the time that you can explain to them how a family works and bonds.
***Most importantly, don't let your child or children see you (parents) fighting in front of them.*** This scene can really be traumatic for them and can be a memory that may left them scared, resentful, fear and anxiety towards relationships.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Everyone of us started out with no clear idea on how to be a parent. Even those so called experts at parenting need to have done tons of research, actual observations, interviews, use cases before they would come up with a guide that can be made as a standard. But every family is unique in its own way and that includes your children.
We all want what is best for our children, there is no denying that. But, we should be able to know when to be overly protective and delicately caring for our children. We need to be observant and collective on the decisions that we make concerning our children. After everything that we have done and decided, in the end, we all want our children to be independent.

***Hello read.cash community! I'm here for my 7th article for my 7th day on read.cash. And for today, I would be answering random questions that was generated from when I clicked the "Generate Random Questions" button on this*** ***link******. You can even change the quantity of questions you want generated for you.*** https://randomwordgenerator.com/questions.php
Doing this with a complete stranger will really get you on edge. But if you do this through a random questions generator or listing takes your guard down big time. It gets you to be more honest with yourself and at ease when answering the questions thrown at you.
Asking questions is the only way that you get to know first hand about a person aside from looking at their actions, mannerisms and quirks.
What's the best way you've found to calm yourself when you get stressed?
I always find myself being released from my stress if I could have a breath of fresh cool air. Just being outside with a nice atmosphere and a gentle breeze brushing through your face have a calming effect on me. Stress becomes lighter if there's a great view that comes with it.
Have you ever had a terrible house guest? If so, what happened?
I did, and it was troublesome to get him out of the house. There were times that he would be outrageously obnoxious. As if he was to be pampered. There were times where he would not even respect your personal space. Doing things that he wants and not even thinking about what I want. Well, it was really burdensome to have this kind of a house guest.
What one thing would significantly make your life better?
I would be a hypocrite if I didn't say money right now. Well, if you have the abundance of money at your disposal, possibilities of making your life better is endless. There's some truth to the saying that money makes the world go round. But of course, it is not solely the thing that makes the world go round.
Are there any words that you simply can't stand?
Swear words, that's it! It's not really nice to hear swear words. You can deliver your message without the use of swear words. Proper conversation is key to conveying your message across, and using swear words diminishes that big time.
What's one thing you think you should be doing more often?
Exercise, exercise and exercise. As you go older, having exercise continuously in a scheduled manner is quite hard to do. Although some may take it easy doing this everyday, but it is a struggle for me. I may have an exercise today and plan to do it tomorrow the same time, but other things occupy my time and exercise takes a back seat, indefinitely.
What is something that someone does that will immediately turn you off?
If someone will make a poker face when you are trying to make a point. It seems to me that you're not in the same location as me. You may be physically present but your mind is miles apart from you, do you get my point. I hope I did answer the question in the right context.
What do you love most about where you grew up?
I grew up in Baguio City, so everything in Baguio City is what I love. The environment there is really great. It won't be called the summer capital of the Philippines if it doesn't have a great ambience and atmosphere that tourists, local and foreign, are looking for.
What do you consider to be the smartest thing you've ever done in your life so far?
The smartest thing I would definitely done right now is joining read.cash. I know I'm just starting out here, but the community is bustling with like minded people and are certainly a source of positivity in this pandemic time that we have.
What is the last encounter you had with a random stranger?
When I was at the mall, going down completely oblivious of the surroundings when I was being asked a question why many people are converging on a certain section of the mall while we're supposed to be observing proper safety protocols. It was quite funny as the person was quite surprised when I wasn't her companion to begin with and I answered her back.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Answering the questions was quite thrilling as you'll never know what you end up with. But it turned out to be relaxing as well. You try it out too and see the different questions you may encounter. Just enjoy it and not be offended by it.
Thank you very much if you have reached this part of this article. Until the next time.

BCH Funded My Daughter's Education
Providing education for our children is one responsibility that every parent must take seriously. This is one of the legacy that we can give to our children, providing a means for them to have a bright future. Even now, in this pandemic era that we are in, education is still vital for our young generation. And parents are adamant to give their children quality education. Also, teachers are eager to teach in school, but are now faced to do alternative teaching methods. Methods adopted at present are modular, online and hybrid.
Whatever the educational method chosen by parents and the school, the focus is on the children. How would the children adopt and how fast would they be able to adjust to the new learning system. At present, this is now the second school year in which children in my country are left with no choice but to adopt alternative teaching methods I mentioned above. For public schools, option is modular wherein students are provided with the materials they need to answer the activities included in thier modules. Usually done in a monthly basis, which depends on the location and graphical situation of the school. As for private schools, option is online and hybrid methods. Online classes, are done with live classes but not in a classroom setting. As for the hybrid, it is a combination of both modular and online class.
Me and my wife have agreed to continue with the previous school where our daughter attended school last school year. It is a private Christian school where it is managed by Nuns. Moreover, they have been actively communicating with us, parents, if we would continue to have our daughter attend school with them. We gladly did, as there are more uncertainties when transferring to other schools, both for private and public alike.
Next we move on to the main topic, the coverage of the expenses for our daughter's education. This year has been tougher than last year, as I saw a decline with my working hours due to the effects of the pandemic. And it was one of the reasons that I came upon noise.cash (more on this on a later article). Who isn't familiar with noise.cash that is presently a user of read.cash? I hope there are none.
Anyway, I started out with noise.cash with little to no information how it works. It was with constant effort to be connected with the users and learn how it works. Little by little, I was starting to earn BCH. And with each passing month right before the time of my daughter's enrollment, I was able to come up with an ample amount to be used for the enrollment of my daughter in school. It was a great achievement on its own, and one such possible use case for the use of BCH on real life.
The snapshot below shows the time of my transactions using my coins.ph account to make bank transfers of the BCH fund that I swapped to our fiat currency. But, wouldn't it be better if we could pay with our BCH fund directly to the school (it would completely eliminate the gas fee needed in the conversion from BCH to fiat). The amount shown below, in total, was the first payment made for the education of my daughter. It was withdrawn in installments as it was based on my earnings at that time. The succeeding months until the end of the school year, monthly installments for tuition fees would be coming from my NC earnings. Hoping that my earnings would still suffice, of course.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Funding the education of my daughter is only one use of my BCH earnings. When we encounter a little hick up in our daily expenses, I can use my BCH for a quick transaction. My choice to show that BCH funded the education of my daughter for this school year seemed to give more weight to the benefit of having BCH in our daily lives.
Noise.cash has become a part of my daily life since I joined February of this year. I have learned a lot from the use of BCH as a peer to peer electronic cash payment system. And its possible use in our daily lives as a mode of payment for services and products is attainable, adoption of the general public is key to this. So let's go and continue to support and advocate BCH whenever and wherever possible.

Happy Teacher's Day
***Honestly, I already forgot about the day we celebrate Teacher's Day here in the Philippines. I was just reminded yesterday when our Parents group chat over at Messenger for my daughter keep on buzzing and dropping gifs about it 😅.***
Ever since I was a child, I was told about things not to do by my parents. It was a good thing because it made me explore my world, I was only reprimanded when I got hurt or I hurt somebody. I made amends and said sorry if I hurt somebody, and made a promise not to do it again. That is the case, when we are kids, we are told to never do it again. And most of the time, we never do it again.
I shared my memory of my parents when I was a child above to give thanks to them and for me to remember them, as they are my first teachers. Everyone should also be thanking their parents, as they really are teachers for us during our toddler years.
When we enter school (preschool) for the first time, there may be cases that we don't want to be separated from our parents, usually our mothers. There are cases that parents themselves don't want to be separated from their children at school. But, at some point, parent-child bond when it comes to school should be with defined boundary. So as to give the child, the ample freedom and space to grow emotionally. To interact with other children their age. And teachers who are handling these children really are the best when it comes to patience. They have unlimited patience in handling different kinds of children clustered to a room. I really commend them for that.
When children go through the different levels of education, teachers also have different specialties to cater to them. And with each different level, there are also irreplaceable memories that children go through. And in these stages, when children are in school, they are the second parents of our children.
*Since I forgot about the events that are being celebrated for Teacher's Day, I googled it for more information.*
Here in the Philippines, National Teachers' Month is from September 5 to October 5. And usually, the celebration ends with a special program for teachers coordinated by students of all levels. But, in the situation we're in right now, this would not be possible.
As for the rest of the world, there are different days of the year that they celebrate Teacher's Day. It may be different but the important thing to remember is, the recognition we give to our educators and their rights to have also a quality life befitting for them as an important part of our educational system.
This day, October 5, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) had proclaimed it as World's Teachers' Day back in 1994. It was in recognition of the rights and responsibilities of teachers that focuses on assessing, improving and appreciating the educators of the world.
Here in the Philippines, October 5 is also recognized as the National Teachers' Day to commemorate the service and rights of teachers. It is made to be a non-working holiday for teachers.
**To ALL TEACHERS who:**
Goes above and beyond their duties.
Selflessly extend their helping hand to children that need their support.
Continue to improve their craft for their students.
Gives their rest day to prepare materials for the lessons of their students.
Travel to-from school for hours, crossing rivers and hiking mountains for their students.
Does house visits to check on the actual condition of their students
This is your special day! Happy Teacher's Day! Thank you very much for your unyielding service!
FINAL THOUGHTS
Teachers are not only restricted to those who are in our educational system. I give recognition also to others that have imparted their knowledge, skills and wisdom to us. They are your mentors, coaches, tutors or even your training buddy during those hard times when you were having your On-The-Job training.

How Easy It Is To Maintain Your Freezer
*Since I'm always doing the maintenance of our refrigerator (I'll be using the term freezer for ease of use), I decided to make it my topic today.*
If you have a freezer in your home, you MUST know how to take good care of it, by performing good maintenance on it. Doing maintenance with your other home appliances in your home is also a MUST. I say this because it is more economical to perform maintenance on your home appliances and reap the benefits of having them to last longer, way beyond its covered warranty than having to buy a new one everytime or send it for repair. And in effect, you get the best return on your investment from your purchase of these home appliances and also to prevent you from buying a replacement two or three years in the future.
To do this, you must have the following:
An all-purpose cleaner (choose what works for you)
A cleaning rag/s (choose one that doesn't leave lint)
A vacuum (this helps on those hard to reach places)
A broom (alternative, if you don't have a vacuum)
Before you start your maintenance on your freezer, be sure to unplug your freezer from the power outlet. And give it ample time to defrost if you have a thick ice build up on the freezer compartment itself. As a practice, I usually do it when there is ice build up of a half inch in the freezer itself. Adjust the freezer's position into an area where you can have ample space all around the freezer. Now, if you have the things needed above at your disposal, you are now ready to do maintenance on your freezer.
**Here's What You Do:**
1. Using your vacuum (or broom), vacuum the condenser coils. Usually you can find dust build up, cobwebs or even animal fur (if you have pets) on the condenser coils of the freezer which makes the condenser work a lot harder in maintaining the proper temperature. In effect, this would cause you to pay higher electric bills, as well as, shorten your freezer's life. So to avoid such problems, perform this maintenance in a 2-week cycle.
2. Now, if you have given your freezer ample time to defrost. It is time to clean the drain hole and drain pan. You may have to perform multiple draining of the pan if you have a thick ice build up that needed to be defrosted from your freezer. But, if you have a self-defrosting freezer, which performs a daily defrost cycle, you dont have to do this chore. All you need to do is keep the drain hole clear of any obstruction and gunk build up. To do this use your cleaning rag with an all-purpose cleaner to wipe of such deposits on the drain hole and drain pan.
3. Next is to perform checking and cleaning on the sealing door. This is important to do as having a tight sealing door helps your freezer to maintain the proper temperature without overworking itself. To do this, perform a paper bill checking on the sealing door. Insert a paper bill between the sealing door and try to pull it out, if you can pull it easily, its time to replace the rubber gasket of your freezer. Repeat this action on the entirety of the sealing door. If the rubber gasket of the sealing door is still good, it is time to clean by wiping off the gunk in between the rubber gasket, do this carefully as not to damage the rubber gasket.
4. Lastly, is to perform an overall clean and wipe of the exterior of the freezer. Check for any cracks on the paint that can become a source of rusting of your freezer. Performing a wipe and clean would maintain the polished apperance of your freezer and in turn you the protection of the paint to your freezer.
After performing the above procedure and giving a last inspection of the maintenance done on your freezer, you can now plug back your freezer to the power outlet. Take note of having an adequate distance from the adjacent wall or other things to avoid overheating of the condenser coils.
Also, it helps to prolong the life of your freezer if you keep it full with your food and essentials. And avoid frequent opening and closing of the sealing door, as this action adds to ice build up in your freezer due to the air coming into the freezer that is hotter than the inside of the freezer causing your freezer to work harder than usual to maintain the proper temperature.
Final Thoughts
Like any investment you made, you want to have a return of your investment. Ensuring that your freezer works in its optimum will have its life expectancy longer and you benefit longer from its service, making your investment in buying the freezer a great one. And if you do maintenance also for your other home appliances, you reap the benefits of longer service from them.

Spending Your Money For Personal Goals
Everyone of us surely have their own personal goals they want to reach. These goals may be out of reach for now but you can make them attainable by looking into the list I personally want to follow. Also, spending money for your personal goals will not be a waste, but an investment that will be in the long run, favorable to you. Well, besides having your own portfolio on crypto, smartBCH and NFTs, these are the things that you should consider spending your money on.
1. Your Education/Training
Investing your money by getting the necessary education or training can help you boost your money earning potential. This can make you take a step upward the corporate ladder in your current work or potentially open opportunities for you outside of work. With the basic education requirement on most jobs these days, you cannot let this one take a back seat. As for trainings, these can help you have that additional edge over your counterparts to move ahead of the pack. Or even venturing on your own, you can utilize your applicable education/training to have your on side hustle and expand it once you see that possibility for growth.
2. Children's Education
If you have no children yet, but are planning to have one, better to start with the basic necessities to have a child first. You can never really be fully ready when that time comes. But it helps if you have something to fall back on when the time comes.
If you have children, this will become necessary as providing quality education for your children will not only be their achievement but also your own. As this would reflect on you, as a parent, taking care of your children's future. And it is also the responsibility of a parent to take care of the necessities of their children.
3. Buying Your Own House
Honestly, who doesn't want to have their own house. Every individual wants to have their own house, as this is one way of having their personal freedom. And buying a house should be planned, and not to be decided on a whim. There are a lot of factors to take into consideration when buying a house, and money is the most important factor to consider.
**4. Emergency Fund**
You will never know when you would need cash out of the blue. These are expenses that you would not expect to come chasing you. So, it is better to be prepared in times like these. A decent amount of money, say 10%, from your income source can be accumulated to build your emergency fund.
**5. Retirement Savings**
I know this is hard to do these days, but I included it here, for it is not to be taken for granted. Although we have government mandated institutions that require an employee/employer to contribute a portion of their wage to a fund. Having your own way of saving for your retirement is a necessity.
If you have a family, the time will come when your children are all grown up and have a family of their own, you can't be expecting them to take care of you. It is better to have your own retirement fund, for you and your partner in life, of course. But, if you have children that would take care of you when you're retired, that would be great! You'll have that extra stash to spoil your grandchildren then.
**In summary, we have the following in the list:**
1. Your Education/Training
2. Children's Education
3. Buying Your Own House
4. Emergency Fund
5. Retirement Savings
Final thoughts
There are a lot of ways you can go about having to spend your money for your personal goals. The important thing that I want to share is; have a list, write it on paper, notepad, stick pad, anything as long as it may serve as your guide to not lose focus on what is important to you. Your list may be different from mine, but if you have your list and have it somewhere visible or accessible everyday, every week or every month, you can gauge yourself as to where you are at that point in time with those personal goals that you have set.

**Each Question you pick will be graded.**
Ok, let's move on to answering ten questions from the list of a hundred questions. Without further much ado, here I go.
**Question 1:**
**8. If you had two hours left on earth what would you do?**
I would spend it with my most precious family and extended family. We would have a big party, everything you can eat. We'll talk about the past, the present, and the future. I would like to know that I would be leaving my family with a good future. I think everyone would be thinking like that.
**Question 2:**
**14. Best gift you ever received?**
I would say, when I was blessed to become a father to my daughter on the day she was born. There haven't been a day that I wasn't thankful to have a beautiful loving daughter. And I'm proud of my wife for enduring an almost a day of labour before she gave birth to our daughter.
**Question 3:**
**22. What time of the day do you feel the most energetic and what do you usually do in those moments?**
I would say, the early hours of the morning, just before the sunrise. I usually wake up before my alarm goes buzzing and I feel refreshed most of the time when I had a good night's sleep. I usually do my preparations once I'm done with my morning prayer to say my thanks to God. It is always a good energy boost when you perk yourself up in positive vibes to have a great day ahead.
**Question 4:**
**23. What’s something you never leave home without?**
There's no doubt about having to carry my cellphone once I'm out of the house for longer than 10 minutes. Well, in our world today, information really is key about everything and having access to it, through the use of your cellphone. And in the off chance that I do forget to carry it with me, I wouldn't be having a good day as my connection to everything would put to a halt.
**Question 5:**
**41. What superpower would you most like to have?**
I would say, I'd like to have the power of telepathy, the power to read minds. I pick this power simply for the reason that you want to know what's true or not, nothing sinister or diabolical thoughts intended in choosing it. Just like any person, one would want to know the real thoughts going on in the mind of the one they are interacting with.
**Question 6:**
**45. What's the best sound in the world?**
I would say, the chirping of cicadas in a bright sunny day. If you can hear them, you must be located in the province where there are a lot of trees. Unfortunately, you can't experience this in an urbanized setting. Something about the chirping cicadas gives a peaceful and calming vibe for me.
**Question 7:**
**63. What weapon would you carry during the Zombie Apocalypse?**
I would choose a katana partnered with a wakizashi. I'm thinking of Michone (from The Walking Dead) or even Kingdom. Having to wield one would be more practical than having guns, guns make a lot of load noise which usually attract zombies. Compared to a katana that you can use more covertly, dealing with zombies silently.
**Question 8:**
**66. What do you cook better than anyone?**
I'm proud of my spaghetti! I learned cooking it from my mom in my formative years. And my wife compliments me whenever I cook it. So everytime we have spaghetti, for occasions or just to have one, she let's me cook it.
**Question 9:**
**76. What’s your first thought when you wake up?**
What time is it? Then reach my cellphone and look at the time. If it's still too early, I continue to sleep. If it's close to my alarm, which os usually the case. I close my eyes and give thanks to God for waking me up for another day to be with my family.
**Question 10:**
**81. What type of person angers you the most?**
A person who is all talk but no bite. There are people who loves to talk, and talk loud at that, but they can't back up what they are saying. A person who are usually condescending and always portray themselves to be the victim in any situation to the point of lying to your face and others of what they perceive as their truth.
There you have it. I just skipped on the questions that I can't answer readily at the moment I read it. And just counted if I have reached ten answered questions. I hope that with the questions that I answered, you have got a glimpse of my personality and got to know me in a way.
I had fun answering them. If you find it interesting to do it yourself, go for it. I'd like to know the questions you have answered too.
If you have reached this part, I want to thank you for giving your time to read my thoughts. If you have some comments for me, please feel free to drop a comment below. Thank you very much!

(#02 Article | October 02, 2021)

My Journey Into The Crypto World
I'm just a regular working guy who ventured to the world of crypto by trying out collecting BTC satoshis from faucets just late last year. I think it was about this time last year too, month of October 2020. From there, I learned about the different cryptocurrencies available. The first website that I used as a wallet was FaucetPay, as this was usually the crypto microwallet recommended by the faucets that I have stumbled upon. Collecting satoshis from faucets was a tedious chore and the time spent is not really profitable, I mean it would not replace your regular day job. But, it would at least sum up to be used for buying cellphone load.
From collecting satoshis and depositing them to Faucetpay, I needed a way to have them useable for me. This is where I discovered about coins.ph. This is an application that can be installed into your mobile phone which you can be used as your mobile wallet. Most Filipinos use this mobile wallet to handle their cryptos. Although this mobile wallet only supports BTC, ETH, BCH, XRP, USDC, LINK and KYC at this time.
For me, I'm using it now for my BCH earnings. From my FaucetPay account, I swap everything I have there to BCH and then I withdraw it to my coins.ph BCH wallet. I have them swapped to BCH due to ease of doing so with minimal gas fee, of course.
The next thing that really boosted me into the world of crypto was joining noise.cash. This was where I was exposed to the virtual community of like-minded people, not only for BCH, but for cryptocurrency in general.
At first, I didn't know how to interact with the community as I was a noob on the inner workings of the crypto world. Honestly, I was not into social media platforms as I know that it can become toxic with people who are keyboard warriors. But that didn't stop me and started posting away. I started posting inspirational quotes which I found personally inspiring and shared my thoughts about it too. And a small portion of the community started to take notice and gave me some hearts which inspired me to push on.
Then, came the time of the updates on the platform, where one of the updates obliterated my chance to receive from the fund. But, that didn't stop me from continuing with the platform, as I was continuously learning and interacting with the community. Eventually, the hearts that I received slowly started to have value again which really gave me an added boost continue growing with the community. Noise.cash was where I gained knowledge not only of BCH, but about crypto in general.
I learned to use another wallet which was easier to use and had the seed phrases given to you, which is the key to your wallet. This is the bitcoin.com wallet where you can have BCH, BTC and ETH stored there and you can access it anytime.
Also, I learned some of the different wallets that are offering interest if you hodl your crypto with them. One such wallet is the Nexo wallet which I am using to hodl my BCH, while earning interest.
This is also where I learned about the BCH sidechain, smartBCH. SmartBCH is running on top of BCH that enables tokenization, DeFi, and NFTs while being compatible with the likes of Metamask wallet.
I have several smartBCH tokens over at my Metamask wallet, and I plan to hodl them for now. It's not that much, but at least it is my way of showing support to the projects that are using this BCH sidechain.
Final Thoughts
Since I have learned about the world of cryptocurrencies and also its practical use and capability to be an alternative to our fiat currency. I can say that I will use and continue to learn more about it. There are a lot of possible projects and smart contracts out there which I haven't learned about yet. But this platform and noise.cash will surely be of use to, not only its user community, but also to others that want to know about cryptocurrencies.
