I want to break free

Almost a decade already, but all those promises were dissolved in thin air. I expect so much, I waited so long and I trust enough but everything was just a broken word of promises, no chance of fulfilments. No more, I lost my confidence that my dreams will come true one time.

I struggled so much to hold on, I eat out almost all my pride. I listen and put all my hope into his words. I am happy when he dreams for us to be one. But now seems no more hope is coming. And all I want is to break free for a while.

There was a couple who decided to be with each other after the girl finished her contract as an Overseas worker. The guys promise to fulfill their dreams together. At first, the girl was skeptical about the proposal of the guy and ask her best friend for advice. She was half sure of her decision, she wants more to accomplish things on her own. She dreams of going to a European country or the United States. That is why she can't decide if she will come home after her contract and renew no more.

The guy seriously persuades her to come home. He even asks her to tell the girl's family and implore her parent about their plan to settle down. The guy also is very confident that he can give a good life to the girl even though she does not work anymore. To this, the girl finally decided and went home after her contract. She put all her trust and hope into the guy's promises.

Time goes by and the girl went home to the guy's apartment and there they stayed together as a couple. But before that, the guy's family was already implored to the girl's family about the two and the things that to be needed to accomplish in respect to the girl's family and relatives (this was a traditional culture of the girl's tribe. Everything was settled and the guy's family said they would prepare the things agreed upon.

Then, many months have passed by then turn into years. The two are already living in uncertainty since the guy lost his job and is unable to find another immediately. They also lost their investment to the guy's friend who betrays him eventually.

Their world was collapsed upon these trials. The girl has no other skill but to apply as a nanny and do house chores in the city. And she did just to save their living and for the guy to start all over again. Finally, the guy got another job and he decided for the girl to stop working though hesitant the girl agreed due to personal reasons. They started all over again, at first yes, everything was fine until the day that the girl finds out that she is betrayed. It was a third party but it's the other way round. She found out that the guy stayed with his kid which was happened to admit to a hospital in the city. ( girl knew that guy has a kid in his previous relationship but the guy's girlfriend has left him when she was pregnant and found another man to be with eventually.) The thing is, the guy never told the girl about his situation when seeing his kid. He just didn't go home for days and nights without even saying anything. This made the girl worried so much and decided to blotter him just in case something wrong was happen to the guy. She cried and prayed for the safety of the guy until the latter came back, he confessed everything to the girl though angry she has to accept the situation. Since then, the girl decided to find work suited for her skill, and good thing she can attend training at a certain facility for skilled workers and pass everything after a few couple of months.

After a few years of living together, the girl discovers the guy's side traits which she doesn't realize that he has. But because she loves him she just understands it and exerts more patience for their relationship to keep going. Although sometimes discouraged by the way her partner treats her she still keeps hoping for them to be better. One thing that affects their relationships was financial and this reason keep them from being at peace for some time.

The girl can't reverse what was done already, no matter how she regrets it now, no matter what she does she will never change the result thou. She might regret it but can't bring back the past anymore.
