I'm more into Japanese songs lately. It's been my jam for a couple of weeks already, and I find it relaxing to listen to these songs. We all know that Japanese songs have this cool, lovely rhythm and tunes that give off a relaxing vibe, but the majority of those songs have depressing lyrics if we read them in their English translation. And because we're not Japanese, we usually don't mind what the lyrics and meaning of the song are all about because we are hooked by its vibing beat and tune.
So, for this day's article, I will be sharing with you guys the Japanese songs that I've been listening to and vibing into these days. I hope you'll like some of these songs, LOL. I guess I won't be including some loud anime songs since only a few of you guys watched anime here and I bet you don't prefer loud songs. Or maybe I'll include a few only.
SUKI DAKARA - YUIKA
I've been listening to this for a while and only recently discovered it when I was looking for a song on my instagram storey that I was supposed to attach. I saw this one and I didn't regret choosing it because it really is so cute. The voice of the singer is cute, and so are the lyrics of the song. The song was all about the two people having the same feelings about each other. The song was supposed to be sung by a girl and a boy. It would even be more cuter and lovely if the ones singing this song were a couple.
MAJIKO - 心做し (Kokoronashi)
This song really has a very deep meaning. I really like this song because I somehow relate to the lyrics and what the song is all about. The original singer of this song is "Gumi," and according to her, this song was about not letting others love you. Keeping yourself hidden and refusing to let people be friends or even get close to you. This is because the singer is afraid that she will hurt those people. I kind of relate to it, honestly, because I myself am an introverted person, and I don't usually socialise or go out and talk to other people, except those that I know. I don't want to get attached to someone because I know, at the end, I will be the one hurting myself and will be left behind and forgotten. That is why I mostly kick people out of my life before I get attached to them.
RACING INTO THE NIGHT - YOASOBI
When you first hear the song, I'm sure you'll vibe with it without knowing what the meaning behind it is. Well. I myself am guilty of that, because when I first heard this one, I even head banged and vibbed to the song. I even saw lots of tiktok videos with this song, people doing some dance covers, and it did look catchy and vibing. But, little did we know, there was a darker meaning hidden behind this awesome and uplifting song. The meaning of this song was actually about a couple who were trying to end their lives. In short, it is a suciadal song, and the funny thing is that we're all vibing into it.
WASTED NIGHTS - ONE OK ROCK
Yeah, the song isn't a hundred percent Japanese, but it is sung by a Japanese rock band, so it is still a Japanese song. hahaha. They have lots of cool and awesome songs. You can check them out if you like this song. Maybe you will find other songs by them that suit your mood. The majority of their songs are in English or mostly Japanese in English, which makes them even cooler to listen to. If you have some spare time, then maybe you can check them out. You're not going to regret it, I promise you.
STAY WITH ME - MIKI MATSUBARA
If you prefer a chill and relaxing song, then this one is perfect for you. This is old music, and I consider myself lucky that I was able to discover this one way before I died. LOL. Just kidding. But yeah, I really like listening to this one, especially when I'm in a good mood. It makes me feel even more relaxed, especially with the voice of Mika singing this one.
And those are the songs I most listen to these days. I hope that you'll listen to some of them because they're pretty good songs. It'll help you relax. Admit it, when we're depressed, we prefer to listen to a song that is even more depressive because it makes us feel relaxed. In that way, we get to let out emotions that we've been hiding all by ourselves.

Japanese songs are the best; ever since I started watching Anime, I fell in love with the intros and Ost. I would recommend EVE channel on youtube; they have great music.
