Anti-stress food
Strange stomach pain... Breathing with barriers... Irritability...
Stress
Stress as a psychological phenomenon that affects our physical health is an inevitable part of our lives. It is always present, like a burden we carry on our backs. Sometimes in greater, sometimes in lesser intensity. Although it sometimes has positive effects, in order not to become chronic and seriously affect us, we must release it from time to time.
It is not easy but there is something we can do and it doesn't require too much effort.
But first, we need to know how stress arises. Stress has become so common that we often do not have time to think about how to reduce it and accept its symptoms as something normal. We have become beings who have accepted life under stress as a condition that cannot be changed. If you have any responsibility, stress will be your companion, but that companion must also take a break and give up the constant influence.
What is cortisol?
Cortisol is the most important stress hormone in the body. This hormone is useful as long as it is active as needed. It helps us wake up in the morning and react in dangerous situations. The increase in cortisol leads to a large amount of energy that the body is not ready to deal with at all times, which creates stress and discomfort. Unfortunately, most people experience this several times a day. One of the ways to regulate cortisol, in addition to not getting nervous, resting, exercising, is to eat food that soothes and will please and calm your body.
Many foods are recommended to relieve stress, but here are the ones I tried and am convinced of their effect so I will be happy to share with you now.
Let's eat and relieve stress!
Banana
It is perfect for everyone who suffers from insomnia because it is rich in amino acids and magnesium.
Dark chocolate
This is not hard to eat, at least for me. It reduces cortisol and leads to balance in the body.
Oranges
They are rich in vitamin C and vitamin C lowers cortisol levels.
Cucumber
It cools the body and thus creates a positive feeling.
Milk
A cup of warm milk before bed for a peaceful sleep is not a myth. Milk is rich in calcium which helps reduce anxiety and allows us to fall asleep easier.
Asparagus
I love them. I feel like a new person when I eat them. They have many benefits and one of them is an increase in sexual desire which can also contribute to reducing stress.
Ice cream
I donβt know if there is any evidence that ice cream helps relieve stress but I classify it as one of the top foods that help me relax. Ice cream cools the body and encourages a positive mood.
Coconut
The effects of coconut are a discovery for me and I am very happy to have discovered its great effects which are the most effective of all the above. Coconut provides a feeling of relaxation, peaceful sleep and its pleasant taste evokes pleasure.
Have you had any experiences with some soothing foods that I didn't mention? Let me know.
