As of today February 14, 2022 is love month that all people really celebrate it. Not just for lovers only coz it could be celebrated by a bunch of friends and families. But for me is just a normal day and I'm always with my kids. Have a simple dinner and my partner will call via Facebook messenger, it's everyday.

It's been 8 years of being in an LDR relationship. That I never hide it since I begin my journey here. Although sometimes we have some difficulties but we're still with each other. He don't want to lose us, char! Nobody is perfect in this world. Theres an ups and downs in a relationship, right?

So adjustment is real! You will never get a person of your type in this world. You either have to adjust when someone wants to be with you and compromise when you want to be with someone. Adjustment is the key. Don't forget you're human. It's okay to have a meltdown. Just don't unpack and live there. Cry it out. Then refocus on where you're headed.

My partners message through via Facebook messenger

Around 7:35am, my partner send me a message in bisaya dialect,our language but I'll translate it to English. Happy Valentine's bhe...although were always quarelling I still love you so much.. God knows.

His always like that and he knows his mistakes but still I need to adjust all over again. I feel pity on him once I leave him coz he cant count on his siblings. The important thing for them is money. He knows me that I can take good care on him once he gets old.

7:30am... 10am....12:54noon...3pm....6pm and 8:30pm...

Do I look busy? Thats my everyday routine and sometimes I forgot the time then he scold me of not answering his calls. I just tell him I'm not busy taking care of baby kulot with some household chores that I'm the one doing so don't act that I'm not busy, okay? Sometimes he said sorry but more in silent answer only.

Even I'm too much tired with his attitude but still I keep myself calm and understand him. But how long? I always ask that to myself then I just let God what will be the his answer, soon. Learning patience can be a difficult experience but once conquered you will find life is easier.

Being in a relationship is not really easy as what others think. Not always happy moment but sadness always exist. Nothing is perfect. Life is messy. Relationships are complex. Outcomes are uncertain. Every couple needs to argue now and then. Just to prove that the relationship is stong enough to survive. It's really normal. Long term relationships the ones that matter.

Ang hirap ng LDR diba tagal din naming nagLDR ng asawa ko. Yung pasensya mo talaga at pangunawa ay talagang kailangan mong habaan ng habaan. That makes you stronger too and the relationship solid!

Hirap pero nasanay na din sis ksi everyday nmn tumatawag yan kahit nasa work sya. Di rin yan msydo gumagala sa SG lalo na nong nag covid. Strict country din yan.

Maintaining a relationship is not easy and if that relationship have to deal with long distance then it is more hard to maintain. Just as you said, adjustment and compromise are main keys of a good relationship.
