If You're Feeling Left Behind, It's Not Over

At some point in our lives, we feel lost and the feeling of negativity is overwhelming. It's like you are living your life useless and everything does not make sense anymore.

Struggling is a good sign that your character is developing. It is where your composure and grit are being tested but if dark thoughts find a way into your mind, changing the way you perceive life and you are starting to have thoughts like: it's not worth it, I'm nothing, I'm alone, my life is over.

I tell you, my friend, your life is not over. Cliche as it may sound but there's so much more in life can offer. We can rewrite our thoughts and change our negative mindsets. Please follow me as I lead you towards hope and positivity.

Life isn't always happy.

Who wouldn't want to be happy in the first place? An ideal setup is that your life will be filled with happiness. However, we base our happiness according to how people have it. Material possessions, successful careers, and happy families. We look at others and idealize their lives.

We look at how other people are doing and we often compare our lives to them. They have so many friends and they seem to be so happy. Often times you would think life is unfair.

Well, we are not meant to live in a constant static of joy. Even the kings and queens have their dark thoughts too. Each of us has situations to deal with.

Imagine if we are all happy all the time, happiness comes out normal already. We wouldn't appreciate it anymore. It's not something you look forward to because it's given every day. With that, there will be no character growth as difficult situations are there to measure how you stay focused and determined amidst the challenges.

In fact, our brains are more active to entertain the negative ones than the positive ones. We often see the negative side of everything. Our brains work like this because it senses danger to a situation.

Acknowledge that life isn't always happy. As they say, it's okay to not be okay. Just like the animation film Inside Out, one of my favorites. Sadness took over and from then, the kid is on her way to recover. Recognizing that you're not okay is the first step of healing.

Everything in life is temporary.

You may think and feel that these feelings seem to stick with you and never go away, please do acknowledge that life is always changing. All things will pass.

Perhaps you have lost a job or mourning a death of a loved one, or you may be suffering from a mental illness. These extreme, heartbreaking situations are out there and gonna eat your thoughts or control your life, please know that life is always changing.

We are designed to grow and become better and better. So as situations and experiences. It's there to help us grow to become mature as we age.

Hope is out there. If you need time to rethink, reconsider things to heal, there comes a day when you wake up feeling good and light. That's when you know you have already moved on and are now ready for another adventure.

Acknowledge the good in your life.

As mentioned, we often see the negativity of every situation. However, there are so many things in our lives that we should be grateful for. Having a grateful heart and mind is the key to a contented and satisfying life.

Then again, we are not always good at acknowledging. Our brains are biased to negativity. But then, there's so much more in your life to be grateful for.

If you have achieved something in the past, you deserve to celebrate it. If you have overcome an extreme struggle, you must be proud to surpass it. If you have loving and kind parents, this is worth the gratitude.

Your mind can lie.

Our brains are so powerful that it controls our entire system. It has the power to convince yourself that you are no good, that you are not worth it, that you'll never get better. Whether we like it or not, our minds are our worst enemies.

Self-criticism is too harsh to the point that you are already betraying yourself. You have no other companion but yourself. You are supposed to work as a team so you help each other grow for the better.

Failures are not a reflection of your worth. In fact, you are winning. You are not meant to be in that situation because there's something you deserve more.

Someone out there loves you.

Sometimes we forget that there are people who truly care for us. We get blinded by the negativity and criticisms that we neglect their overwhelming support and love for us.

They could be right in front of you or just waiting in the corner. You just have to open your eyes and realize that you're not alone. It could be someone you'll build a life with, someone you can cherish for the rest of your life, or it could be yourself.

The best companion you have in your life is yourself. Yes, it can be our worst enemies as well but flip that coin and turn them into your best friends. Self-love is the foundation of having a successful and satisfying life.


These things mentioned are easier said than done but with practice, all of these will be more appreciated than ever.

Huhu nakaka-relate si selffff. Ang daming moments na I feel so dwon or magbe-breakdown na ako pero I always talk with myself na "sige, just let it out. But don't give up, ever." I also sometimes feel like nale-late na ako sa mga bagay-bagay. Ang dami kong napapalampas na chances to improve myself or to have glow up due to my priorities in life. But in the end of the day, eto pa din ako. Still continuing what I had started and was still willing and determined to keep going because I know that I'll harvest all of this one day. Soonest! Then I just realized that maybe I am late to some things and trends but what's important is I am improving and growing, within me. 💖💗

Yes ate, tama talaga. Naka relate po ako. Actually, bisan always ko late gud or lutang kag slow. Pero, galaban gihapon ko nga makabangon usab. Nalipay jud ko kay ang mga articles diria makatabang pud diay ug maka relate jud. Bag uhan raman ko diri nga plataporma pero, tanang articles nga nabasahan nako, maka relate jud kos akoang kinabuhi. This is encouraging, I believe that we look at life and handle things from different perspectives but holding unto hope and faith is really important.

Bigla kong narealize na life is not that bad, I've been suffering for mental illness again since magspotting ako. Feeling ko ung stress hormones Ko ang taas, ang blangko ng isipan ko at the same time sobrang bigat ng pakiramdam ko and diko maintindihan nararamdaman ko. That's when I find out na it was a emotional breakdown na pala kasi halos magcollapse ako and I found myself hard to breathe during that time.

Maybe the brain is powerful, and I'm praying for everyone's health to get better. Ang hieap maging exposed SA negative things na halos pati ikaw, di mo macontrolnsarili mo.

After reading this I just realized na everything is not too late. Lagi kong iniisip na nasahulihan nako at sumuko nalamg But no, I wajt this struggles to paid off. Thankyou, you remind me to keep fighting even though life is not that good.
