Readcash is more than 1 year old now and with a total number of users of almost 54k. But as you can see from the chart, the active ones are less than 10k only. Some users abandoned their accounts and created new ones. Some are permanently banned and some really left the platform for some reason. And most users are just having the post and leave scheme, not interacting with other users.
The articles and comments per day also show a drastic drop. From more than 3,000 articles last August to September 2020, it started to go down to 1000 in October and less than 500 this year. From more than 40,000 comments, it goes down to less than 1,000 this year. This is due to the new tipping system which actually gives the platform more quality content articles and lesser spammers. The new system is much better in some way but yielded a lesser interactive environment.
And just two months ago, noisecash was created. In just a short period, it onboarded users doubled the number of users readcash has, and the interaction is, of course, more than the highest record of readcash. Things started to change, and readcash became like a dead zone area, while noisecash is so alive and deafening.
I am not against noisecash as I actually enjoyed interacting and giving free tips there. What bothers me are the changes of readcash. As much as I wanted to be active here, but the interaction is getting lesser and lesser each day, which led me to think, are they planning to ditch read someday? I hope not, because many users are relying on this platform to save Bitcoin Cash. And I'm still hoping that our #Club1BCH family will onboard more BCH believers and motivate more users to HODL Bitcoin Cash.
And just lately when they removed the fund banner, and putting @MarcDeMesel as the sole donor of the platform. The pledges of some users were refunded to them, which includes mine, and used Marc's sponsored money instead.
The removal of the fund banner created a commotion inside and outside the platform, just like how a million funds did. And seeing a single name on the sponsor's list made me think, what if @MarcDeMeselstops sponsoring readcash? Then it might be the end of read.
And we know that we can't just rely on Marc's sponsorship the whole time, how can readcash continue if that happens?
There are many possible ways to make this platform stay longer. But I guess the site itself is earning as well. Just like other sites, they earn money from their visitors and users. We are the users of this site, and many visitors eventually became users as well. I'm not sure about this though, it's just my perception.
But how to make this platform live for a longer time?
Get more sponsors
We can't just rely on sir MarcDeMesel as we know that he also has priorities in life. Though investors think about how to make their money grow, but having him as a sole sponsor won't give stability to this platform. We, users, can't help either, what we can only contribute to this platform is to make it more interactive and post quality content articles. By that, there might someone out there who might want to sponsor this platform.
Accept Paid Advertisements
Just like what other platforms are doing, accepting ads might help this platform live longer, and that is through the payments of the advertisements. I still remember last year when they implemented the ads bonus, many thought that readcash will be accepting ads already, only to find out that it was just an experiment to onboard more users from developing countries like the US, Canada, and Europe countries.
But looking at the pinned post of read.cash on Twitter, it seems like they are working on it. Let's just hope that many more site owners and crypto users will use readcash to advertise their products to get more clients. Only if readcash will accept payments, but if it's for free, then we don't know what will happen next.
You may want to help me spread this Twitter post on your social media accounts, so that many can read it and might want to visit and advertise here on readcash. π

We have seen some users here who are posting their own sites through their articles. And some sponsors on the sponsor's block linked their profiles to their sites.
Maybe that is how readcash helps them get more clients. But we are actually expecting something like ads somewhere here on readcash. They should I guess level up this platform and make space for advertisements. It might hook the attention of the visitors and might be interested to place their ads here.
And why not make noisecash and readcash into one platform?
That would be cooler and bigger. One platform for blogging and making noise, isn't it cool? But of course, it would be another job to do, a bigger one.
But a question that is still bothering me, are they going to ditch read? I hope not, and I hope they are only making something bigger and better. We don't know, but we really hope so.
But if readcash stops, will you stop pursuing your goals too? OF COURSE NOT.
There are many ways to continue your goals. And it is up to you whether you pursue it, or you quit. Readcash is only our stepping stone towards better opportunities and we have experienced and witnessed how readcash and Bitcoin Cash change the lives of many. It gives so many opportunities to us and motivates us to set and pursue our goals in life.
Moreover, the memories and experiences, and the people we have met through this platform, are something that will remain no matter what happens. And even if we grow older, we will still remember the once read.cash who helped us change our lives. And Rusty? I might gonna name my kid after him π .
Great and informative article since I am new in this platform. β€οΈ
