Starting With My BCH Journey
Everyone's talking nothing but about bitcoin cash. Honestly speaking, I knew less about digital money until I stumbled upon this platform about two months ago. I was able to learn its history and its adaptation of the true money for the mass people from the original coin, bitcoin.
**Indeed the true money for the people**
When I first came here I have learned that many are spreading bitcoin cash on social media especially facebook. It was to spread the awareness by doing advertisements. If one person is really interested with it, he will try to go on and check it out. And if wanted to learn he will go beyond reading in this platform to learn more about bitcoin cash.
More and more people are adapting bitcoin cash and it is gaining more supporters as well. One example of this as we can see is the pumping of our favorite coin to the moon. Now the price is at $800+.
**Way better than saving your money in the bank**
Bch does not only offer very low transaction fee. It is the hope for the people especially those who are below the middle line like me. Though I have not bought any bitcoin cash yet, I have observed that one's earning here will grow in no time when the price pumps. I only have $9.47 on my dashboard and as of this writing it went up to $12 point something, for example. So I have earned from the profit $2 point something. While a bank savings would grow a profit like that depending on the amount you saved or saving.
I have learned a little about buying low and selling high. With the profit to be used wisely, some convert it to usdt to avoid volatility of the price and when the price dumps they will buy some more bch with it. Others also use their profit in binance to buy other cryptos. Because, I am still a noob, I still can't discuss much.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I didn't think about earning when I came here because I knew nothing about writing. So I just wrote what I had observed when I signed in and made an introductory article about me. Thankfully, there are generous users who upvoted my write-ups. Since, we are being paid with bitcoin cash that's why there are lots of articles regarding it. I read silently and commented on them according to my understanding. And because I was just a newbie in this crypto world that some of my comments were a little bit off and again, grateful I am that the author corrected and explained further on the reply section.
I have seen that there were lots of people from all walks of life trying to spread the word about bch. Many were also aspiring to hold 1BCH or more before the year ends. It was because of the prediction of the greatest supporter of bch, sir Marc deMesel- bch hitting $30k.
I was even more amaze to have read articles which are mind blowing written by students, professionals, stay at home moms, and many others. Despite of who they are, still they strive to be goal oriented when it comes to spreading and earning bch. Kudos to them.
And because I have been offline for quite sometime that I just came back this past week. I tried to write and publish another article and it was tipped by the bot. It feels amazing.
I don't have any plan of withrawing it yet that's why I installed bitcoin.com as recomended by users. I planned to hold it there and try to reach 1Bch.
Is it late to do so? I think not. There's no such thing as late when we really want to achieve one thing.
I may not be good in writing most especially when it comes to crypto but I will surely try other niche. The bot may come and go but I hope that
**Ending thoughts**
Bitcoin cash is truly the coin for the people. It is not only trying to prove itself to the world what it really is but a life changing opportunity to have it.
As a noob, I have observed it is making its way to where it rightly belong. And with the help of platforms like this, we can make it possible.
Way to go bitcoin cash! Ahhhoooooh!
Syncing my read.cash wallet with Bitcoin.com
Most of us here might have done this already. I just did mine the other day. For those who haven't yet and still doesn't know how to, you can check this out.
*Anyway, I didn't know I was already here for two months already. Maybe it was just recently, too when I turned two months. The last time I checked it said, "user for 1 month" and after I published my article on attracting positive energy did I notice it changed to two months.*
*I wasn't able to fuse my read.cash wallet with my bitcoin.com wallet in the first place because I became too busy. After writing my past articles in my early days here and making some interactions with other users I went offline.*
*My article on* **attracting positive energy** *gained some decent tips which I am very grateful of. I also got tips from other generous users here on my past articles and on my comments. They shared what they can to appreciate the works of co-users. Likewise to support them because it serves as a motivation for a certain user like me who wasnt getting any tips from the little guy.* https://read.cash/@Togo_jan/attracting-positive-energy-3f72435e
So much of an introduction so let's do this now.
1. **Backup my wallet**
After successfully registering to this platform there was this "**seed phrase** " which the site told you to copy and save somewhere safe. This is very important as it is the access through your bitcoin cash earnings here.
Just in case you haven't saved it or lost it, click the drop down menu on the upper most corner of your account then tap backup my wallet. Then on the article tap the **show my seed phase** on the gray box. Copy it.
2. **Install bitcoin.com app and import wallet**
After downloading and installing the app in googleplay you can now use it.
Tap **+add**
Tap ***import wallet ->input your seed phrase -> tap import wallet***.And, it is all set.
However to avoid confusion from other wallets you have, you can rename it. Just click the 3 dots beside that wallet then delete the wallet name in exchange with your preferred name.
After syncing the two wallets, you will notice that your read.cash fund is reflected on your bitcoin wallet. However, there are instances that this doesn't automatically happen. It doesn't require for you to fuss or worry. ***Just click the 3 dots again ->*** *****wallet information***** ***->*** *****scan for missing transaction********.***
It'll take a minute for the scanning, then you're all good.
This is also applicable everytime there are missing transactions even with your other wallets in the app, just do the process.
Do take note that your bch is neither on read.cash nor on bitcoin.com. It is in the bitcoin cash blockchain.
So if you want to withraw your earnings from read.cash, just simply send it to your other wallets in the app. Mainly on your main wallet. But if you wanted to monitor how much you have earned from readcash or hodl your earnings, you can make another wallet and send your earnings there.
There are certain advantages of syncing your wallets:
• Receive notifications everytime the bot or other users upvote your articles.
• You can access and send your earnings from readcash to your main wallet or other wallets without accessing readcash.
• Transactions made are very transparent.
Ending thoughts
Always save your seed phrase as it is your private key to get hold of your money. Even bitcoin.com has its own seedphrase so copy it and save it also. If ever your mobile phone gets lost or malfunctioning, you can still access your wallet with the help of your seed phrase.
No seed phrase, goodbye hard earned money.
Thank you for reading.
TJ once more
Greetings from me to you. How's everybody doing? Fine? Well, good.
Amidst this pandemic we seek other source of income to compensate for our other daily needs. It had been almost a month since I have signed up here and tried to interact with other users. It had been a busy month for me these past days as I maximize my time for other source of income. It was also the time when the season for farming is at its peak. This explains why I wasn't able to go online.
The exhaustion from the farm works were too draining to the bones. All you wanna do after a day's endeavor is to sleep like a snake. That you may regain strength for the following days hustle with the mud.
As for this platform,I have observed that this was a good platform because it allows anyone to do freewriting, so far.. And from it one can earn bitcoin cash from therandomrewarder or other generous users.
Actually, this is another introductory article of me because as a new user, I have been actively interacting here for just couple of week since I registered. For sure, those whom I have made conversation with have already forgotten the me. Is it even necessary to introduce myself again? It is. It establishes rapport from among users and a way of engagement for those who are also like me who shares the same interests.
My names not actually emghee. I decided to use my given names initial as my screen name in this platform to keep my privacy. Another privileged we have here. There is no need to use our true names if we don't feel like it.
According to the platform's rules, we can write anything under the sun but not to go against the rules. This rule is not to attact others may it be in writing articles, short posts or comments. Simple as it is but it is what keeps read.cash friendly and toxic free.
I can only write things which I can relate to and things which I have experienced. I don't have much knowledge on crypto, expect I won't be writing about it. But I do love to read crypto contents and this is a perfect site to learn about it especially bitcoin cash. I hope one day, I would also be able to write my crypto experiences when I have tried and learned it.
I hope to find friends here..
Have a good day and let's all sail away..!
***TJ***
Why Am I Here?
First of all I would like to thank those who have upvoted my articles and my comments as well. I don't see the need because it made me shy to comment again on their articles. But then I realized, it was their way of appreciating your comment which is in relation with the topic. And as for the article, it feels good that somehow you got to get one's attention that they read your article and they even left a tip.
Since I got here, I have read beautiful contents of authors who were and still are sharing anything under the sun. But no, most of the writers which bmjc98 recommended are all good authors and Ive got to follow them because who doesn't? They are writing informative contents especially the infamous bitcoin cash. Wherein a newbie who reads them will get the knowledge they need because it is very detailed.
I was just a highschool dropout who knew nothing about digital money and I am only relying on working out my skills as a laborer. But one time, as I was scrolling facebook when I saw this post about earning free bch which I never even heard of what it may be. I just clicked the link and it directed me here. https://read.cash/@Togo_jan/a-little-about-me-dc2cfc9d
Funny as it may be, but I was able to read about readcash. Am not interested in reading, really. However I was able to in this platform and even wrote an article about it Getting to know readcash and bch and part two. https://read.cash/@Togo_jan/getting-to-know-readcash-and-bch-efab609f%20https://read.cash/@Togo_jan/getting-to-know-readcash-and-bch-efab609f https://read.cash/@Togo_jan/getting-to-know-and-learning-readcash-and-bch-02-3a5ab42d
I was not also into writing because I don't even know how my sentences are put into paragraphs. I lack words or vocabulary that would make it into constructive lines. But when one is interested then he can create one simple paragraph.
Honestly, I don't have anything to write but when I was going through here on my spare time. Ideas are popping but I can't just put them to writing yet. It's because of the reason stated above and my time is also limited. As of this moment, I have lots of notifications which I was not able to check on due to the fact that I was not here for some days. I will be checking them and pick some berries among the bushes, I mean those important knowledge the articles have.
Last night, my mouth gaped open when I saw an article with a 5 digit amount of upvotes. Wow that's realy huge, man. I have seen others articles and they had $100 or $200. And it was all from the generous supporter of this platform, sir @MarcDeMesel . He really is indeed a great man who not only supports readcash and noisecash but the real bitcoin itself.
I thought to myself I can't write articles to get the attention of @TheRandomRewarder , how can I be noticed by such a great man. I don't really know anything about cryptos. Nevertheless, I will try to construct anything that will pop up my mind.
And hey, I noticed that some are writing about receiving or having no tips from the bot after writing some articles whether it may be here or on noisecash. It may be logical to feel disappointed but know that its a robot and it rewards randomly. But its not logical to post though. Little or none at all, be thankfull still and it should fuel you up all the more. Am not trying to be hypocritical but as I have said, go on.
So why I am really here is to read, be educated and interact with other users. Then write some if I have the time. Then maybe oneday when if I have some penny on my digital wallet then I will also be able to try those farming others are mentioning here which by this time, I can't understand what and how it really is done.
Thank you for dropping, TJ.
A Little About Me
@Togo_jan again or in short TJ. There's not much about me. Just a poor boy in a country seldom told. As much as I wanted to establish rapport among users here, my time to do so is being spent dominantly on my work and family. I am not expecting much from the platform but I foresee it as a place to gain friends. And as much as once privacy is unanimous, the better. At least, in this community it is a friendly one when everyone is living with its rules. One can publish anything except those that are against the site.
I have three kids. To become a father for the first time is something that makes a man complete. It is a wonderful feeling but a challenge at the same time. The thought of having to work harder and smarter is always on thoughts, it is not something that you can just pull out of you. In short responsibility.
Responsibility not only goes with providing for the table. The love and care for your wife and child should always be there. A husband's time is also very valuable to a family which he needs to give them.
I must admit am a *langgong* and brought so much pain and tears to my wife whom I just ignore sometimes.
One child became three. Realization struck when we had the youngest. The joy you saw in those little pair of eyes whenever you come home became 3 pairs. Their need to have you beside them is overwhelmingly wonderful.
One time, memries of my childhood struck. I am an orphan from infancy.
I grew up with relatives. And because life was very hard on our village before, one really has to stay under the scroching heat of the sun. We live mainly on farming. Men go out of the village to another village or to the city after the planting season for a per day wage. It is to provide monetary needs of his family.
It's my aunt who took care of me since I was orphaned of my mother. I don't know of my father. She used to go the fields as early as the first crow and comes home almost after dinner. Because I am a child, normally I cried. Until I am getting used to it. Sometimes I get jealous of my cousins who have parents. But these relatives of mine never treated me as an outsider. Whatever they have on the table is for everyone. Whenever they bring us along to the fields, we all work.
Growing up to a teen, I became the center of accusations. Was not able to finish highschool. Peer pressure, bad influences, and just like any other kid in town I want independence. My aunt whom I call mama cried one time and said, "was it because we are poor? Was it because you don't have a father to defend you from those wrong accusations that they treat us like this?"
It played over my mind. Three children that made me whole. Three kids who completed my being. A wife who is ever loving yet I took for granted.
I won't let my children suffer the same fate. The world is more cruel today than when I was kid. People are too judgemental and too discriminating of others. When almost everyone has a degree that they are being respected and look upon the community, a man like me is just an ant they can easily trample.
With my family, I will stand to raise my kids and see what they become. To be their hero and fortress when the world is against them. To help them up when they stumble and guide them on their path.
Youth is not for me no more. But, to give these children the youth I wasn't able to have. You might get me wrong, but I did enjoyed my youthful days.
Thank you for reading.
Ps. Im also dropping in noise.cash from time to time. Username is Togojan.
Getting to Know and Learning read.cash and BCH (02)
Today marks my first week here in this platform. I can see there are lots of wonderful things happening here. From my spare time, I tried to read articles to learn more about this community and bitcoin cash which everyone is writing about.
After I have published the first part of getting to know read.cash, I thought of publishing a second part. Why not? I know there are lots of new users here but I doubt if they have read articles from read.cash that appeared on their notification. So I decided to make a summary
Boosting an article
As a newbie who just got in here from a random link on social media, one will be curius about things.
I have received this notif after publishing my first article of the Highland's exotic foods." Looking from the time of publishing, it was a year ago.
Boosted articles are seen all over read.cash. That's why we see two boosted articles as the 1st 2 articles on top of our homepage
And from my own understanding, the higher the price you used to boost an article for a particular duration of time, the higher is its potential to be seen and viewed by other users. Maybe the oldies here can explain to us what's the boosting system is for. Does it increases ones earnings when an article has more views in it?
In boosting just click the icon. For a better understanding click here. https://read.cash/@Read.Cash/boosting-articles-561402ea
Sponsorship
I wondered what are those boxes on someone's profile and articles saying sponsors of _. Some three days ago, I received another notif from read.cash again.
And there, it was explained clearly. To **activate your sponsors block**, Just click the **$** sign on any published article. (I will try it when I will post this.) https://read.cash/@Read.Cash/get-sponsors-a2b66c10
Again, I don't know what sponsors are for. Some sort of appreciation from your articles, maybe?
Self host
This actually can be seen on the last part of a page. This is the last notification I have received from read.cash.
It says, you can download your articles and images so that when something bad happened to the platform. (Knock on wood. The platform, as I can see it is going beyond better.)
I knew nothing from downloading files, so if you are an active writer and wanted to have a copy of your own articles and the images. Click the self host at the footer of your page.
**Reading through read.cash articles.**
It is Sunday,restday. I occupied myself skimming through the articles of read.cash and learned that this platform was created on October 18,2019. It only began with 500 members and a fund of $600. The date was unknown since the articles only said a published a year ago.
Wow!! This community had grown not only in the number of users but does the fund also. It was due to the generosity of donors most specifically sir Marc deMesel who believes in the potential and strongly supports bitcoin cash.
Learning more of bitcoin cash
Gladly, read.cash also supports bitcoin cash. I have read from Jane that it was Roger Ver, a strong supporter of bitcoin cash and the man behind bitcoin.com who applied the peer-to-peer proposal of Satoshi Nakamoto of bitcoin. That's why it was termed the true bitcoin of the people.
Aside from that, holding bch is something very beneficial with the buy low, sell high system. Your crypto has the potential to grow by the dollars once it pump (which is not possible in banks) wherein one can sell his gained profits then buy bch again when the price dumps. This way your bch will grow. Another thing, it is very safe on your hands than money on banks. You know what I mean?
During those first days, I have learned from eybyoung's that bitcoin cash's rank by market cap went to the 11th place while it used to be at top5. I asked her some question which my guess was very wrong from the true reason why it went down. Sadly, I don't know how to use market cap or how to look for the ranking that's why I am not updated of the ranking this moment.
Eybyoung mentioned in her comment that to be able to rank higher, it needs massive adoption and lots of transactions. And perhaps through this, sir Marc's prediction of bch's value of $30,000 before the year ends will come true.
However, I must conclude that bitcoin cash is doing great as its value is now more or less $700+. With read.cash and noise.cash as the main medium, and due to advertisements on social media that more and more people are coming to these platforms, that is called mass adoption. With the rise of users,thus, the transactions are also in demand to give tips. Through this, many are already using these tips to hold, hodl, and use bch for online puschase transactions.
Getting to Know read.cash and BCH
Hi! It's me again @Togo_jan .I don't know how to start this article so let me just go directly how I was able to get in here. Like any others, I just click a link on facebook with a post saying earn free BCH. And it directed me to this. Unfortunately, I didn't save the link.
At first, I was hesitant to sign up not until I saw the number of users and the flags of nations which the platform covers. Without signing up, i began to go over the articles on the feed and saw some that have different amount of dollars in them and some don't. Some even have over $100 in it. So I was really amazed at the same time not confident of writing something in the internet. I only love writing during high school when adolescent stage was spurting (laughs). So I was thinking what can I write when everyone's writing about crypto and bitcoin cash? I have less knowledge about such thing plus I don't have a very good writing skill. I still continued to go on scrolling and saw that there are also articles that talk of random topics. Scrolled up and clicked register.
Before that I tapped the question mark beside the number of users and this appeared. However, I came to learn that comments were no longer paid. Its just a means of interacting with the other users. And that authors are solely paid by the articles they published.
Regarding BCH, I don't have much knowledge about it. All I know is it's an online money you can use to transact on the internet with an equivalent value in our local currency. Maybe I can learn more about this crypto because the platform supports it and like what I have said, BCH articles were all over it so I only need time to read. Register is done after agreeing with the rules. The rules were simple as it is. So another woow.. It is not a toxic community after all I guessed.
A welcome message. This is what appeared on my screen after registering. I was a little bit inexperienced with things like this so I better obey what the site's saying. I, then took a pen and a notepad and wrote the seed phrase.
All done and this is how it looks like. The first thing that caught my attention is the fund. Woow! That's really a big big amount of money. And it's what exactly where those amount of money in an article. I feel like I was a child who's anticipating for his price to be handed over after being obedient of doing a task.
I tapped the pledge and as I can understand is a place for donors. Correct me if am wrong.
I didn't stop there. So I also tapped the dropdown menu to explore more. I tapped everything one by one and as expected I don't understand yet some of it. I came across stats and was able to learn where the fund had come from and I was not wrong. The pledge is for donors and I was amazed to see a very generous man whose donations is dominating most of the funds. I bet everyone knew about him and that's sir @marcdemesel. Same with tippers. Aside from him were a number of lists of donors and tippers also. I was left thinking what it feels like to at least give some back to the platform after being tipped. It's a matter of support to the community, I guess.
I learned while going on through some articles and clicking those amounts on them that @TheRandomRewarder is responsible for it. If not him then he's an it because it's a bot then there are other users also tipping.
Going over, I again came across articles with more than $100 dollars in them with sir Marc's upvote ranging $100. It made me doubt myself again because authors writings are really good and most of them are speaking of crypto and bitcoin cash topics.
Nevertheless, I told myself that am already here. What's the harm in trying out this wonderful platform. And it's a way of learning through reading related articles.
What's the red bell for? Ohh! Notification. This is all there is for the meantime. I tapped and read articles where it led me. Then I came across articles of read.cash about a year ago.
As you can see on the screenshots, the time was around 1am when I was browsing so I was not able to read every article but reading the "Welcome to Read.cash" made me learn more about the platform.
After a day of reading and due to slow net connection in my area, I wasn't able to comment on articles I am interested with. However, I still tried to make an article regarding our **Exotic foods** our ancestors live with. I was happy to see a congratulatory notif for having 10 views on it which I consider an achievement already. https://read.cash/@Togo_jan/the-highlands-exotic-food-bontoc-125452f1
I also got a $0.01 amount of upvote from sir @Telesfor who tipped my comment on his article. So I told myself, it's not a bad start but a good sign rather. I would be even happier if the bot noticed me or some of who by just commenting..
Happy read.cashing...
Thanks for the 11 views.. more to go. You might like to check this newbie's first article.
It seems I have a very bad network connection. I tried to look for the link of my article and it's nowhere to be found at the top of my article. I would like to share it but just couldn't. Am a newbie here and hoping to meet friends..
