Day 21
The BCH family was excited to meet the legend and most especially, to visit Amsterdam which is one of the dream places of many, that's my dream place too, lol. This day, everyone just chilled at the castle because all were still exhausted and sleepy because of the last night's party. Panky and Pandora left the castle in the afternoon to prepare the steel bird that will be used in flying to Amsterdam.
While the rest just roamed around the area, took photos in the woods, and others just enjoyed bathing and playing in the lake. At night, everyone packed their stuff because they will be leaving the next morning.
PV contacted sir Marc on TG prior to leaving and he gave an address where we'll be staying. But sir Marc doesn't have any idea of how many will go to the meet-up.
Day 22
At 8 in the morning, everyone was already in the private port of CryptoMax. He decided to go with the gang to meet the legend as well. The momshies prepared food for lunch because the flight would be more than seven hours. The plane took off at 9 in the morning and everyone was happy and excited and can't wait to step foot in Amsterdam.
It was almost 5 in the afternoon when we arrived in Amsterdam private landing owned by one of the BCH enthusiasts, Francis. He was also aware of the meet-up, in fact, sir Marc told him to guide us to go to the private hotel he bought just for this special event. I guess he sensed something huge in number so he bought a hotel instead, lol.
From the private land, huge buses picked us up and drove us to the luxurious hotel. On our way, we saw the "I Am Amsterdam" sign in front of a museum which they called Rijksmuseum.
We all got off the bus and took photos. @imanagrcltrst @Janz @Caroline17 and @Zhyne06 climbed on the huge letters while some stood and laid on the ground.
The sun was already setting so we decided to head straight to the hotel after taking photos. We have reached the hotel at 6:30 in the evening and we were all in awe when we saw the private hotel. It's a vast 4-story luxurious hotel located in an integral part of Amsterdam.
A broad living area welcomed us and it's even enough to gather everyone in the living area only. There were several couches with different designs and huge standing lamps on the sides. The kids and teens ran and were excited to sit on the couches.
And behind it was a beautiful river and bridge with boats and a plethora of bicycles. Later we found out that the name of the place is called the red-light district.
At night, a grand buffet was served at the hotel's restaurant for all of us. The staff informed us that sir Marc will be coming on the 24th day. So we were allowed to roam around the place on the 23rd day.
Day 23
Amsterdam is known for its artistic heritage, beautiful canals, and houses with gabled facades. But what's more interesting are the windmills. So we traveled to the suburb in the morning to witness and capture Amsterdam's picturesque.
After eating lunch, @AnonSunamun informed us that he will gonna pick up his son to meet the BCH family as well. We head back to the town square by tram to visit the famous Dam Square. On the west end is where the neoclassical Royal Palace and church were found and Madam Tussauds Wax Museum. After checking the famous landmarks, we headed to the carnival to try their popular rides.
The teens tried the rides by pair and I've seen @Leymar012201 holding @Sequoia's hand and both were screaming while they were orbiting in the air. (Eheem...another lovebirds 😅 sorry guys 🤣)
A vacation in Amsterdam isn't complete without cycling around the town square and by the river. I, with the youngsters did cycling around the river and the town square. And the oldies (🙈✌) had a boat ride on the canal.
At night, we stumbled upon this Bowl of Steamy Goodness restaurant and we're curious about their cuisines so we dined in and ordered some steam Amsterdam specialties. AnonSunamon arrived later with his cute son and we invited them to eat dinner.
Day 24 (The meet-up with the legend)
We woke up early to prepare for this big event. We wanted to surprise sir Marc and show our gratitude towards his generosity to random users and for sponsoring the BCH platforms, noise/read.cash.
We decorated the luxurious banquet hall of the hotel with Bitcoin Cash banners, a big BCH box for the raffle draws, and a huge BCH Christmas tree on the entranceway to indicate that the party is for Bitcoin Cash enthusiasts only.
The French food was personally cooked by our chef momshies and daddies. They all looked like made by professional French chefs.
Branded liquors and wines were personally chosen by our bartender @BSzandra with the help of @Peter-Molnar We chose different flavors and brands because we know that the legend loves alcohol.
The staff named @Kristofferquincy said that sir Marc will arrive at 6 in the evening so everyone positioned at the banquet hall to surprise the arrival of the legend. We ordered the staff to inform sir Marc to go directly to the hall once he arrived, but never tell about our surprise.
From inside the hall, we heard voices coming and so we remained silent. Sir Marc opened the door and we all shouted...
"Surprise!!"
Sir Marc was dumbfounded and puzzled by the huge group of people inside the hall. Everyone was wearing Bitcoin Cash shirts we ordered from Amazon shop. His happiness cannot be contained seeing the Bitcoin Cash family.
But we, the BCH family was more surprised by the people behind him. Along with him was SmartBCH developer Wang Kui, and Ethereum development Vitalik Buterin. Some BCH developers were also there like Ameury Sechet, Jonathan Toomim, Jonathan Silverblood, Jason Dreyzehner. And the famous BCH vlogger Gabriel of 1st.Mil called us...
"Hello, future millionaires."
And we all laughed and dreamed to become future millionaires like the VIPs.
The VIPs sat on the front tables and murmuring sounds were filled in the air.
@Eybyoung asked PV, "is Simon coming?"
After she said that, a man in a mask arrived and we were all shocked. Sheyms. He's hunk and handsome.
(He's not the real Simon okay 😅)
"Who is he?" @bheng620 asked but we don't know the answer as well.
"Is he lost? This isn't a masquerade ball." Answered @Glez.
"Shhh..he might hear you," @nheng1118 told her.
He became the talk of the hall because of his handsome look and his mask, lol. But then a woman's voice from the back called his name.
"Simon!"
It was Cindy Wang, one of the BCH enthusiasts, crypto writers, and founder of Satoshi's Angels.
"D*mn!" Uttered by him.
"Simon? The talking head?" @McAdeleye asked loudly.
So we identified that he was Simon. He's handsome, but with a strict face when he removed his mask. Sir Marc invited him to be our special guest and the teens, especially the single ladies were all giggling upon seeing him talking in front of the stage.
Simon's stern voice and look made the teens shut their mouths. But he threw some words.
"I don't bite."
Everyone heaved a sigh of relief on their seats.
"Let's start the party!" Sir Marc told everyone.
Then another voice entered the door.
"Am I late?"
It was sir Roger Ver 😱. Everyone was surprised and felt glad of his arrival.
"No sir you're not." Shouted @MarSou
"Okay, let's start the party!" Sir Roger Ver told the crowd.
A few minutes later, the onomatopoeia of the cutlery hitting the plates and tossing wine glasses filled the hall. After eating, some boys sang in front and some girls danced to entertain the visitors. Sir Marc approached us and thank us for organizing the amazing event.
There were guessing games, BCH treasure hunts, and raffle draws held by @Fexonice1 and @Jnavedan All prizes were sponsored by sir Marc. At the end of the games, everyone got new BCH in their wallets.
The most awaited event came when the clock hits 10 O'clock, the giving of gifts. After exchanging gifts, DJ morgie owned the stage again and played disco music. Everyone, even Simon hit the floor and showed us his dancing skills, haha. (I hope we won't read this 🤣) We were all waiting for the Christmas countdown to start.
At 11:59 in the evening, everyone held their wine glasses to prepare for a toss once the clock hits 12'Oclock.
Morgie starts the countdown as he's holding the microphone, followed by the rest.
"10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1....Merry Christmas Bitcoin Cash Family!"
Fin... 🤣
Everyone flew back to their respective countries on the 26th day through Panky's steel bird since they want to be at their homes before New Year. And since Filipinos were the biggest group, we were chosen to be the last passengers to be flown to the Philippines.
On the 30th night..
We were staying outside the cafe when someone called @Ruffa's phone. It was an unknown number. She slid the screen and turned on the speaker because she was curious who's on the other line.
"Hello!" A French accent was heard on the line.
Ruffa was muted and we were mouthing to answer the call but she's hesitant and already blushing.
"Ahm...who's this?" She gestured as if she's nosebleeding, haha.
"Is this Ruffa?" He asked.
Ruffa abruptly stood up and everyone was confused as well.
"How did you know my name?"
"Ahm..I got your letter and your name is here."
"What letter?" Ruffa asked in confusion.
"From the wall in Juliet's house."
We remembered our letters and we were all romantically excited.
"Oh,.." Ruffa was still processing everything and bewildered and her face turned bloody red, lol.
"Where you from?" The man asked.
"I'm from the Philippines but currently here in Amsterdam."
"Amsterdam? That's great because I'm also here with my friends."
The single ladies were excited and @Eirolfeam2 and @LykeLyca were mouthing Ruffa to ask if they're single, but she's too shy to ask, haha.
"I am with my single friends too, 🙈"
Ate@Pachuchay and @Yen and the rest of the takens suddenly wanted to become single too, lol.
"We're somewhere in the town square in a cafe's patio." The man said.
"Really? We are outside a cafe too." Ruffa said in excitement.
As they looked at their side, a handsome guy was already looking at them.
"I know it's you. I'm curious about how to win Parot's heart." The last words the guy said before he approached the group.
After the countdown to 2022, the single ladies aren't single anymore, 🤣🤣.
