Hello fellow readcash users. I have been here for a while now and i want to thank you all for your hardwork and persistant effort in writing quality articles. And making this platform a blast. In my article, I'm going to write about 'sharpening your knife' 🔪.
This is kind of rhetorical right? In order for you to cut evenly and well, your knife must be sharpened right? If a blunt knife is used, it would not cut that well and evenly. In every situation or problem, you must get yourself ready and equipped with the necessary skills to sort that problem. When you strike when the iron is hot, you must make it a 'history'. You have to strike well to get better results.
You must look into the future to get what you really want or desire. You must work hard to achieve it. Hardwork pays alot. Success does not come from being lazy. If laziness sets in, how will u achieve your dreams? You do not get success on a silver plater. Success comes with hardwork, prayer and determination. These tools of success( sharpened knife) can make you succeed in life. At the right opportunity, you must make hay. Time also speaks alot about success. The value and usefulness of the time you spend, will give you positive results. Therefore, you must 'sharpen your knife'.
If you plan and use quality resources and effective time, you will produce more. Productivity means output per man hour. This is when a person at a given time, produces more goods and services than the other. 'Time' is a resource which should be spent wisely so in every thing you do you must,'sharpen your knife',you must make the necessary effort and perseverance to make your aim or dream achievable. The goods an individual produces can be 'good' goods or 'bad' goods. Ineffectiveness makes an individual produce little or none at a given time(blunt knife). Lets take this scenario; you are asked to take a sharp knife and a blunt knife. You are then asked to cut an orange with it. Which one do you think will cut better?
The sharp one will cut very well as compared to the blunt one. In life,'your knife must be sharpened' to make your dream a reality.
To add up, giving is an act of showing gratitude or kindness or showing pity for someone. This brings in 'sharpen that knife' agenda. If you give for selfish intentions, you will not recieve the expected. The outcome will be not to your satisfaction at all. If you give for selfish intentions, there is something we call 'karma'.
For every action there is an opposite but "EQUAL" reaction. So as imdividuals we must give from our hearts and God will make the impossible,..possible for you, from a blunt knife to a sharpened knife.
There are four kinds of givers as said by the great prophet TB. Joshua in one of his sermons,
Those who add to your life.
Those who subtract from your life.
Those who divide from your life.
Those who multiply from your life.
Which one are you?
