Here I am again with another update on the ongoing construction work. When the month started July, we could still see the ghost of June lurking around but with time we were able to fill the cracks and even went further in laying the remaining bricks to 1BCH goal and added more bricks above the lintel.

Just like Oliver twist I wanted more and felt the previous landmark was too low and decided to raise the bar. Duties and needs arose and I realised in my Quest to increase the square meter of the building, I was neglecting the structural requirements of the building, which in no way should be overlooked. I decide to follow the structural design, but spending and replacing. At the end of the day, it benefited me because so many needs were meant by spending and this also helped in promoting the foundation on which Bitcoincash was laid.

Were the set goal met?

At the beginning of the month, I made this list of goals I aimed for in July. Link

Get to 1 BCH

This was the ultimate goal. Getting to 1BCH has always been the dream since I read about hodling. I started the month with 0.62 BCH and needed 0.38 BCH to get to 1BCH. At first, it looked impossible given the constant expenses and the earning rate but finally was achieved. The Happiness knew no bound. It felt unreal and every little time I stare at my wallet and smile.

This is a result of 6 months on noisecash, 6 months of ups and downs, of getting flagged spam, of going inactive for weeks, of finding it hard to balance both Education, work and making noise together, of learning and meeting new people.

It is also a result of 2 months on readcash, 2 months of meeting new friends, of writing and waiting patiently for Rusty's first visit, of constant mistakes and corrections, of dedication and learning from others, of writing even when the inspiration isn't there.

I hope whosoever is reading this will look deeply and see the struggles and take this as an inspiration and not as a form of intimidation. I sincerely hope so.

Drop at least 15 Articles

I'm glad to tell you that this goal was met too. I set aspired to write at least 15 and had it in mind that at most it will be 18-20. But I was shocked when I counted and realised it was "29" in total. For this, I'm treating myself to a cold bottle of Pepsi. lol.

Balance my Education and writing...

At first, it was tough but various circumstances made it easier. The school went on another compulsory lockdown and we took a week break then commenced online lectures again. I will mark this as checked too.

Spend more BCH and at the same...

As I said earlier the Oliver twist in me wanted to more and felt 1BCH is a little low and wanted to do just one thing Hodl. But that will be bad of me. Moreover, I needed money for Various things so it was like killing two birds with a stone.

I saw the map to see if there's any BCH accepting merchant close by but I couldn't find any. This made me painfully convert to fiat before spending but I looked for a way to correct this by buying BCH with fiat. Also, I send BCH as a form of appreciation (no payment) to various people for the services or help they rendered to me.

Rebuilding the collapsing walls...

I set about this by my working on myself, I was getting distracted by the noise, happenings, appreciation and compliments. With time I started getting before and I always put it in mind that though I might get paid by the bot on my posts, the biggest gain is the Satisfaction felt on pleasing the readers.

I can't say I'm there already, in fact, I'm lots of yards away. But daily I'm moving one step closer to being a better person and a better writer than I was before. The Plagiarism cloud that has been hanging over the readcash sky over sometimes now also help, because amid the chaos are great lessons.

Got the Silver Diamond

One would expect me to be extremely happy when I got the badge because of the way I've been talking about it for a long time. But it wasn't to be when I got it. I know people that are earning less, yet they are on the list. I feel challenged to do more and to give out not only because of the Badge/Diamond but because I want to give. I got tired of using the Eiffel Tower and decided to ask @gianna96 on noisecash to help me design one. I'm grateful for her help and I pray for her constantly.

However, my Friend @anonymousone also on noisecash and readcash help me designed another with which I plan on using when I get to 1000 subscribers on noisecash or 200 here. Conclusion

As the saying goes "Man Proposes, God disposes", we can only try, we can only set goals. It is left to God to make us realise our goals. And keep us alive to fulfil the goals. For we are pencils in his hands.

July was great, though the various issues we had on the platform and so many users not getting visited by Rusty sometimes almost soiled it, above all, we all came out stronger, better and wiser.

July might have broken some hearts or bonds, but I believe August will mend hearts.

So I say "Thank you July for the lessons, but it's time you pave way for August"
