Choose your freedom that will lead you to a victorious life

Choose your freedom that will lead you to a victorious life. A freedom or liberty that will not cause you into frustration, desperation, great loss, failure, condemnation and even defeat.
Sometimes people misinterpreted the deep meaning of the word "freedom". Some were mistakenly defined this word while others were abusing it. This is very common in the different social media, their freedom to act or say something. They wanted to express their feelings and emotions but having no intention to hurt others. Being free, frank, open, or outspoken those are ways how others understood freedom. Some people think it is their power or right. But others may say it is a choice or previlege. Whatever it is, our freedom should be put in a right place.
However, our freedom has limitations. For example, when you say you have the freedom to wear any dress. Yes, it is your freedom but when you enter a place like school or church, that freedom will no longer take effect because those places have set policies to maintain formality, morality and decency. If you insist your freedom, you will only destruct or destroy its good images. Some will condemn you or even insult you if you will not abide their rules.
What does God say about freedom? God gives us freedom not to lead us into death but to everlasting life. Jesus came on earth to free us from death, sin and anything that enslaves us. He gives liberty to the captives.
If we keep on battling against sin, we will no longer slave to it. With the power of Spirit, we will be free from the bondage of pride, anger, gluttony, greed, vanity, selfishness, addiction, abusive behavior and other grievous sins.
Another, God gives us freedom to choose our own path. In the beginning, God did not make robots. He created humans. To those who choose and believe in Christ, they are not forced to praise and worship Him.
The freedom that God gave us is to walk on the right path and direction. We walk the way even that is full of trials and challenges. Our thoughts, our words and our deeds should be in accordance with God's will.
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another” (Galatians 5:13).
One time, I asked God why not to use His power to make all His people serve and love Him. But then I realized that God will not be happy with His people if they are forced to go to the church and worship Him. He wants us to heartily to choose Him. But the Bible warns us that hell is a real place where people end up when they rejected the truth and misguided by the freedom they were abusing.
Yes, it is your freedom not to go to church because you strongly believe that you can pray in your house. But did you know why God commanded or instructed His people to make a temple or church building?
Choose your freedom that will not lead you into hell but will lead you into salvation - a victorious life. Victory will only be ours if we could see the face of God after our death.
Closing Thoughts
Though freedom is our right but let's use it in accordance to the will of God that will not lead us into failures and dissatisfaction.
Freedom is a choice and not an opportunity. Real freedom is choosing a right thing over evil one. If we wrongly choose the bad things, learn to accept the consequences. May we choose the best things through making right decisions.
Lastly, freedom is a free gift 🎁 from God. It is an invitation that offers us eternal life. He wants all of us to be saved that we may inherit His kingdom in heaven. But again, it depends on how we choose the FREEDOM. A freedom that brings us to a victorious life or a freedom that leads us into endless death.
