They call him a monster: The largest truck in the world weighs as much as 60 African elephants-Yes, you read that right, 60 African elephants
Hello friends, today I want to bring you closer to what is not seen every day.I live in a small mining town. Every day I can see a surface mine from my window. At that mine, a large number of trucks transport ore every day,but not any truck, but the largest in the world-BELAZ.
BelAZ is a Belarusian automobile plant and one of the world's largest manufacturers of large and especially large dump trucks, as well as other heavy transport equipment for the mining and construction industries.
The well-known truck tipper manufacturer has made a vehicle with a record carrying capacity of as much as 450 tons! So far, the largest truck of the Belarusian factory could transport 360 tons, and machines of this capacity are produced by only five companies in the world. It is intended for use in large mining mines, and is almost ten meters high.
BelAZ 75710 weighs 810 tons, which weighs about 60 African elephants, and on its wheels are "tubeless" Michelin tires, each of which weighs eight tons. Its maximum speed is 64 km / h, while under full load it can develop about 40 kilometers per hour.
This "monster" is powered by an engine with a volume of 174,300 cubic meters, with 2300 horsepower, and the tank has a volume of 1800 liters! Such a tank is very necessary because it consumes 965 liters per 100 kilometers (in operational condition), while in the place it consumes 30 liters per hour.
It is as long as two double-decker buses parked next to each other, six times more powerful than today's Formula 1 race cars.If you stood next to him, you would struggle to reach half of his one of eight tires - unless you are at least 2 meters tall.
This machine is driven by people who are undergoing special training,on very bad terrain. Mostly men, but we also have one wife

Driving a strong "Belaz 4" with a carrying capacity of 220 tons, for the first time alone in the cabin of a monster weighing about 120-130 tons, in the first shift at a time ideal for driving, she finished her working day with a manly, responsible and hard job.
