Coffee or Tea?
Coffee and tea are one of the most popular drinks in the world, and there are a lot of people who can't tell the difference between them. While they both come from the same plant, coffee and tea are processed differently and have different flavors.
Coffee is made from the cherry of the coffee plant. The cherry is roasted, ground, and brewed with hot water. Tea is made from the leaves of the tea plant. The leaves are dried, crushed, and brewed with hot water.
Growing up, my preference between the two have always been changing. For as young as I can remember, I loved taking tea a lot. Probably due the fact that coffee isn’t always introduced at a younger age for kids. Then, when I started pulling up late nighters in high school, I grew to prefer coffee to tea. As a matter of fact, I do get packets of instant coffee and take them like I would have taken tea. After a while, I grew tired of taking coffee then opted back to tea. But then, something happened. I suddenly became intolerant to milk. I started having serious stomach upsets whenever I take milk and milt related products like yoghurts. So I stopped taking coffee and tea all together. Back to the topic.Â
Coffee is typically stronger and more bitter than tea. Tea is typically smoother and less bitter than coffee. Coffee is usually served with milk and sugar, while tea is usually served with honey or lemon. Although some kinds of tea synthesizes well with milk and sugar.Â
There is a big difference between coffee and tea, and it’s not just the flavor. For one, coffee is a stimulant and tea is a relaxant. Coffee is also higher in caffeine than tea. Tea also has antioxidants that can improve your health, while coffee doesn’t have any major health benefits.
There are a lot of debates between coffee and tea drinkers, but which one is the best? In my opinion and speaking from the standpoint of someone who have had both as favourites at some point in his life, it's a close tie. However, we think that coffee and tea have different benefits that make them both the best choice for different times. Coffee is a great choice for when you need a quick burst of energy. The caffeine in coffee helps to stimulate the brain and give you a boost. Tea, on the other hand, is a great choice for when you want to relax and unwind. The soothing properties of tea can help to calm the mind and relax the body.
So, when should you drink coffee and when should you drink tea? It all depends on what you need at the time. If you need a quick pick-me-up, go for coffee. If you want to relax and de-stress, drink tea.
For coffee, the main benefit is that it's a great way to get a quick energy boost. This is thanks to the caffeine content, which can help you feel more alert and awake. Tea also has caffeine, but it's not as concentrated as in coffee. So, if you're looking for a drink that will give you an immediate burst of energy, coffee is the better choice.
Tea also has other benefits that coffee doesn't. For example, it's a rich source of antioxidants, which can help fight off free radicals, and protect your cells from damage. Tea also has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce inflammation in the body. So, if you're looking for a drink that can provide long-term health benefits, tea is a better choice.
There are pros and cons to both coffee and tea, but ultimately it comes down to personal preference. Here are the key points to consider when deciding which is best for you:
Coffee:
-Brews quickly and easily
-Can be enjoyed with a variety of additives, such as cream, sugar, and syrups
-Provides a caffeine boost
Tea:
-Is a natural detoxifier
-Is available in a variety of flavors and varieties
-Can be enjoyed hot or cold
At the end of the day, it really comes down to what you prefer. If you’re looking for a quick caffeine fix, coffee is the way to go. But if you’re looking for a healthier drink that offers a variety of flavors and benefits, tea is the better choice.
Were on the same page I sometimes get tired of having coffee so I will take tea instead and after I felt like I had so much tea I'll go back on having a coffee haha. It's sad that you aren't now able to drink/take dairy-related products hoping you get well soon.
