Bitter part of Raining Season.

What's going on everyone, how is the weather over there? Right here, it has been raining heavily with a thunderstorm since early afternoon. This is accompanied by the heavy wind and there's always fear of trees close to the house falling and causing damage to the environment and so many environmental hazards.I use to like raining season but there's always something else about it that changes my taste for it. I will be highlighting some of the causes and disadvantages of raining season in my town and village.

Everything that has advantage is believed to have a disadvantage no matter how little it may be. When there's no rain, the people cry out, wanting and needing rainfall but when the rain comes and keep falling to satisfy human desire, the people cry again that it enough and should stop. This is just a word if imbalance.

Have you ever been beaten by rain, how was the feeling and after maths, I bet you it not fun with my tips here I'll be sharing with you in this article. Here we go.

Rainfall caused blackout for almost a year back then in my village.

My little village had One of its blackout history few years ago during raining season. It was a heavy night rain fall. All were asleep and around midnight, the sky broke loose and it rained cat and dog. There use to be electric poles bought by the whole villagers and upon all it took to raise the money and how long it took too, that midnight heavy rainfall and strong wind brought all the electric pole to the ground. It happened as if it was done by humans and no one could ever imagine almost all the electric pole in a village fall at a time. The consequences of this incident was automatically a blackout and the worse part being that, it not a day task to raise the money again. There was no government to assist them, so they have to be patient and keep raising the money which they did in almost an entire year.

Destruction of property by heavy wind

This is probably the worse night mare ever to have been experienced by some people in my village. This happened at the same middle of the night heavy rainfall and strong wind. Roof tops were seen flying as if they grew wings, from the top of the building the nearest ground. That day was a savage. Imagine enjoying yourself sleeping on the bed comfortably, and it was raining outside. All of a sudden, you hear a huge noise and on waking up, it rained directly on you. Roof gone and resting on the ground, your clothes, makeups and food getting soaked in water. At first, it will seem unbelievable as if you were dreaming, but it actually a real life situation. Which of the property would you secure? the day if that savage night, it was so horrible for the victims. Some had to leave everything and took only their money looking for shelter at their neighbors house. It was a sight to see but never wanted to happen again.

Flooding

Drainage is a system created for water to make it ways after down pour. That same savage night, the drainage wasn't enough for the massive water flow, it was filled up and accidentally, found its way on people's compound, people's farm too were affected and all their growing crops washed away. Some people's room were turned into river that night as the massive flow found its way into their houses. Some who noticed early what was happening woke up and sought for solutions while some that were carried away by sleep was awaken by their wet foam. It was a terrible night, especially for those without cupboard for storing their food. Their were so many damages and the sight wasn't funny at all. For the farm, part if them were totally washed off and some parts were not affected.

Loss if life and property

For several occasions, people have lost their life accidentally and got drowned by the rain due to massive water flow along the roads. I could remember one night while coming back from a evening church service, it was about to rain when a strong wind broke and carried a young girl to the grocery shop. She was lucky enough to be hit by the walls of the building. She was crying because at that time, her life was in danger. There was once a news of a tree branch falling on a car die to heavy wind, it caused a serious accident that saw to the end of some People's life. There is this particular road in my city that is always drained by massive water flow, almost every year, there are news of water carrying people and their motorcycles. Some get lucky and are save, while some unlucky ones gets drowned.

Environment pollution

This environmental pollution is always as a result of wind and after rain fall. There are always deposits of water can, objects and dirt's around the city and villages. There might be a slippery ground and could fall someone who tries to walk on it. Leaves are scattered all over and the whole environment looks dirty. The water bodies are also filled with trashes and makes people lack clean water in the villages.

Sickness

During raining season, people like in cold weather and this kind of weather makes it easier for communicable diseases circulation. There are common sicknesses like cough and runny nose, malaria too is always high because it a perfect breeding time for mosquitoes. Some who are allergic to cold usually have pneumonia and related health issues.

All these and more are the consequences of rainfall in my town and village respectively. At least, two to three of them are likely to happen annually. Some if these challenges could be controlled, like the one of loss of life and property. People should remain wherever they are during heavy rainfall or heavy wind, avoid struggling to go home because anything can happen on the way. This raining season, I hope less of this happens to us as we take our necessary precautions and do the right things expected by us. Times like this leaves us and our animals in danger. What a nature!
