I am so sorry Banji, forgive me for all I did to you. I didn't know this will be the outcome of all my wicked acts to you, I never knew tomorrow can be this big and promising.
This was the statement that Mr Akinsiku said to Banji while on his knees begging for forgiveness.
How are you all doing today, I have a fun-filled day and I am sure yours too was splendid. Let's dive into today's topic so we all can grab one or two things, let the story begins;
Banji was four years old when he lost his parent in a car accident, he was in the same car with his dad and mom but he wasn't injured that much. His parent died at that incident with his senior brother too but he only had bruises on his leg and arm. After the incident, the parent rally round to discuss on who will take Banji home to be taken care by them, after so much discussion it was decided that Mr Akinsiku should take him home because he is the richest among them all and they think he would have money to take care of him very well. Mr Akinsiku was Banji uncle, he was the senior brother of his dad.
Mr Akinsiku has three children, two female and one male with a beautiful wife. All of them are attending one of the best schools but Mr Akinsiku refused to send Banji to a private school, he sent him to a public school. While his children are being taught by a private teacher, Banji will be busy running errands for his wife, whereas they have a housemaid who can do that. They refuse to buy textbooks for Banji, anything relating to education about Banji is taken with a levity hand, they refuse to listen to him, they maltreat him, they turn him into their children slaves.
All this suffering was too much for Banji but he was determined and struggle to finish his senior secondary school while living with them. He endured all the pain till he finished and ran away from their house. Banji did well in his final exam and his result was one of the best in the whole of the school. The state government that year decided to give the best ten students with a good result a scholarship and Banji was fortunate to be among them. Mr Akinsiku and his wife never bothered about him since he was already of age and he is no longer a toddler, they don't know any progress about his education and they don't pretend to care. While Banji was in the university, he was also working, trying to do some tutoring jobs in the school to provide food for himself. Mr Akinsiku daughters and son was still struggling with their exam and could not pass, the parent was fed up and try to manoeuvre them into the university through their influence and money. When their children got into the school, they became something else, the male child joined cultism while the two daughters were into runs girls (prostitute work).
After some years, Banji graduated with a second class upper due to his struggles to provide for himself. He got a very great job where he was being paid highly, they love him at his working place because he was brilliant and diligent in his work, they promoted him to the post of the General Manager, things changed greatly for him and he became wealthy and popular. The son of Mr Akinsiku was killed when they are going for an operation to kill someone and the daughters were used for money rituals by the rich men they go about sleeping with.
Mr Akinsiku and his wife were crying bitterly when they heard the death news of their children, suddenly news showed up on the screen of their television, they saw that Banji has been made the prime minister of the country. On seeing this, their weeping multiplied and they couldn't console each other because they both knew what they did. They started thinking of the bad deed they had done to Banji, they regrets their action and thought of reaching out to him to seek his forgiveness. And this lead to the first statement that was written at the beginning of this article.
"I am so sorry Banji, forgive me for all I did to you. I didn't know this will be the outcome of all my wicked acts to you, I never knew tomorrow can be this big and promising".
Banji feel for them while they were begging and said he has forgiven them. He asked about his brothers and sisters, they told him they are dead, this makes him sad and told them that despite all their effort in pampering them, they couldn't live to bring forth result. He asked them hope they have learnt their lesson that no one knows tomorrow, no one knows what tomorrow will give birth to. He felt for them, he told them he has forgiven them and gave them some amount of money for them to use to care for themselves.
End of the story
Lesson learnt
Tomorrow is like a pregnant woman, no one knows what it will give birth to, no one knows tomorrow and because of this, we should know the kind of behaviour we show to people whether our relative, friends or neighbour. We should treat everyone fairly, we shouldn't act wicked and bad to people. The person we do bad to today might turn out to be our helper tomorrow, the person will treat badly today, we might end up asking for their help tomorrow.
Treat people nicely and love them. Be fair to everyone. Thanks for reading and God bless.
PS: it is a fictional story

I read this as if it's yoruba I'm reading. You get that sentence "ola lo yun". Great illustration and explanation bro.
