Adult Problems We Are Not Ready For AUTHOR: OMOJUWA FREEDOM DATE:19 JANUARY 2022 `Kindly check out my awesome sponsors` Adulthood is a phase in which we progressively begin to decline in a variety of ways as time passes, and while you may think you're preparing for adulthood, it has already begun. The following are some grownup issues that I believe we are not prepared to deal with: **1. LACK OF FRIENDS** We will have to make some difficult decisions on our journey to adulthood, including the necessity of unfriending some people due to their detrimental impact on us, even if it will take time to recover. As a result, we'll have fewer pals as adults, which I'm sure we're not ready for. You'll constantly wonder, "Where have all my buddies gone?" Meanwhile, they are all residing around us, but they are no longer our friends due to the circumstances we have found ourselves in. Sometimes it's caused by a move to find a better career or a more conducive living situation, and you have no choice but to leave where you grew up because it's the only way to live a better quality of life, and you'll lose some friends along the way due to the distance. The most typical is death; unfortunately, some friends may not live to see adulthood, and this is the normal way for friends to drift apart. Making friends as an adult is one thing, but maintaining them is quite another. **2. LACK OF PURPOSE** When we were younger, we had goals that we wanted to achieve, such as getting into college and passing tests and exams, but after all of that, we are left to our own devices to find meaning in our lives, which can be extremely difficult. That is why most people lack purpose in adulthood, and the minority people who do have purpose do so because they have had one since childhood and have maintained it till adulthood. We gain more understanding in maturity only on rare occasions. I have some companions who were good in sports as children and are now almost adults who have lost interest in sports because they have been left alone with no one to sponsor or encourage them because they believe that once you reach adulthood, you are capable of taking care of yourself and that is sufficient. **3. HEALTH ISSUES** You can't avoid health issues as you get older, though some people may be fortunate enough to avoid them. Let's start with weak bones and gums, which can lead to tooth loss, diabetes, hair loss, and sagging skin. You'll begin to take things slowly because you no longer have that youthful vigor, and everything appears to be a source of stress to you. Every day also appears to be getting fairly close to your death date, and it grows scarier by the day. Meanwhile, as you try to deal with your health concerns, your parents' health deteriorates, and your children face a variety of challenges, making life increasingly difficult. ***Adulthood is like looking sideways before Crossing and then getting hit my an aeroplane ๐๐*** Thanks for reading ๐

Yeah, we are probably not always ready for these problems and they isn't anything we can do to prevent them except rolling with the tide
Sometimes we think we are prepared meanwhile we are not
Just caught arthritis last week.. I'm sad, luckily I found a medicine huhu... I'm not prepared for that pain.. Thats for 40+ im onlu 21
Thank God you're alright
What scares me most is the burden of responsibilities we are taking of our loved ones.
Responsibility keeps increasing as we get older
We discuss those with my friends last night and indeed they are one of our worries as another year would be added to our life. But let's not overthink it maybe inevitable but let's not forget to still enjoy life.
They are inevitable and it will surely occur and the solution is just to experience
Adulthood is a bit scary as you have to take care yourself and your family the way they took care of you when you're still child/young, the difficult part is the pressure and fear that you may not be able to do better.
The pressure keeps increasing each day and we can't escape that
When I reached adulthood, I've lost a lot of friends. It's not because they are toxic but because we have to take different paths. Hihi maybe we will meet again soon.
I can understand because I have also been there
Adulting scares me the most. I think I can't let go some things in my childhood that I'm so used to have and do. But life isn't just like that we need to explore and do thing for us to grow, to matured and to became an adult. Adulting is full or risks and challenges and we just need to deal with it.
I lost some friends while growing up and I have taken so many risk just to be a better person
Things of adulthood! Its hard to adjust at this stage. It was a bit scary by accepting the changes because in reality there were instances that we need to adjust especially the thing and the people that we used to be.
I agree but as a kid we always wanted to be an adult so we can enjoy freedom ๐ but now we want to become a child
Hahaha truth slap.
When I was a kid I wanted to enjoy adulthood as soon as possible but now when I'm standing in the threshold of adulthood I can't really take this responsibilities, toxicity anymore. We can't do anything except accepting everything. May Almighty give us more power, more courage to us.
Adulthood was interesting when we were kids but when we are now older we don't love it anymore
Truth is we spend a lot of our adulthood worrying about our life and how to make it better. Not really easy being an adult with all the responsibilities
Responsibilities are getting much each day and all we can do is to accept the responsibility
Adulthood is so stressful. Like, why didn't they let me continue as a child or at least come as a potato rather than deal with all these lol. These are actually true things we face though and we'll keep facing them as we get older
๐๐๐ I just want to play football and play video games when I was a kid because I don't like having more challenges each day
Exactly ๐
I loved that last line! You are absolutely 100% right, and none of us read the fine print before entering into adulthood, we are just so thrilled that the fun stuff is finally happening and the it hits you: the hob, the house, the bills, the groceries, doctors appointments, the car, the bf/gf, kids, and the list goes on and on and on. But it has its perks, after all, nobody can escape it so we do our best to find it meaning and purpose.
That's the key, we should have a purpose and meaning to our lives
