BCH for salary

Following the announcement of the MP of St. Maarten to convert his full pay to BCH, employees from various firms and enterprises are requesting that their salaries be paid in BCH in most Caribbean cities.

It is a known fact that BCH adoption in the Caribean nations is spreading like wildfire, thanks to @Roger.Ver who has been promoting the use of peer-to-peer electronic cash in his native country St. Kitts and Nevis. The St. Kitts Nevis Times reported on the 18 of March that the crypto investor and entrepreneur has been seeking government approval for the use of crypto automated machines (ATMs) in his residence country St. Kitts.

Ver influence would lead Roland Brison, the leader of the United People's Party and St. Maarten parliament member, to convert his government's entire pay with BCH. Brison, who is also minister of public administration in St. Kitts, has reportedly begun the process of converting his full pay to BCH. Following Brison's pronouncement, employees from several businesses in Saint Kitts and Nevis want to be paid in bitcoin cash. On the 23 of March, employees from Sark Promotions, Harmony, and a slew of other St. Kitts establishments held a meeting with the Prime Minister of St. Kitts to discuss the possible introduction of a bitcoin cash system as well as the effects it may have on their pay.

Employees from businesses such as Square Duty-Free, which has many outlets in Saint Kitts and Nevis, as well as shops owners such as Asian Voyage, RK Gems, Beauty Inside Out, and Frigate Bay's Buddha Bar, have asked to be paid in BCH. Some have also requested that employees who receive their earnings in bitcoin cash should spend in BCH to avoid foreign exchange (FX) loss. According to Roland Brison, BCH is already widely accepted on the island which will make it easier for employees who receive their salaries in BCH to do their groceries, pay rent, and pay for other daily expenses in BCH.

In St. Kitts and Nevis, the number of merchants accepting bitcoin cash is rising daily which has influenced the rest of the Caribbean nations to show great interest in the currency. The government of St. Kitts Nevis has already made it easier for citizens to get involved in bitcoin cash.

However, interest in BCH has also spread to neighboring island territories. Merchants accepting BCH can be found in St. Barths, Motserrat, Anguilla, puerto Ricco, and Guadeloupe. Also, merchants from India and United Arab Emirates (UAE) have started accepting BCH for goods and services.

The adoption of BCH is gaining momentum due to its cheap transaction cost and affordability compared to fiat currencies and that some employees are accepting bitcoin cash for their pay in those countries mentioned above is a testament to the power of Ver's advocacy.

The growing popularity of BCH is helping to level the playing field for the use of cryptocurrencies. It is only a matter of time before the BCH market becomes more mainstream and the cryptocurrency is adopted by more shops and establishments around the globe. As the race for the most popular cryptocurrency intensifies, merchants and businesses are adopting BCH faster than BTC is adopted.

With the countries of the Caribean setting the pace for the use of BCH as payment for salaries and other goods and services, it is only a matter of time before the other nations catch up. With so many island territories adopting BCH as a form of payment in their respective countries, Ver will be able to achieve his ultimate goal of bringing crypto to the mainstream.

This will not only increase interest in bitcoin cash but it will also serve to level the playing field for the use of crypto globally. All islands within the Caribean that have not adopted crypto will soon have to, if not now, then sometime later. This will significantly increase the adoption of BCH for international transactions. Once adopted by the government of the island and adopted by merchants, BCH will most likely be more widely accepted by other nations in the future. This will ultimately lead to increased interest in cryptocurrency and further drives Ver's advocacy.

Soon, all islands in the Caribean will be demanding BCH for their goods and services. The development of the bitcoin cash market will make it even easier for businesses in those countries to adapt to the new currency by accepting BCH as a form of payment. As the use of BCH becomes more popular, those from other countries will be gradually adopting the currency as a form of payment.

BCH remains the most user-friendly cryptocurrency in the world due to its low transaction costs and convenient access. However, in the near future, Bitcoin cash will be the next largest cryptocurrency and the rest of the cryptocurrency market will begin to gravitate towards it. It is only a matter of time.

Wow this is a great move to foster the development of BCH as legal tender. After using for the payment of salary I hope in the nearest future that it will be use to pay bills like electricity, house rent, transportation, taxation and others.
