Reasoning verse love: Siblings

What you're about to read is a very complicated story of siblings in a family, sibling who love each other so much, sometimes love can't solve all problem encounter by siblings. Enjoy the story.

There is a family of 5members without a father, 3girls, 1boy and a mother, this family grew up together with a strong bond of love amongst themselves, the siblings hardly fight themselves because they well understood each other. The mother did all she could to bring them up, taught them the proper way of life and the trade she was into, they were able to send the only son in the family to school so he could be different among them, after he got in the university, they were all happy and it brought hope to the family.

Everything was going well in the family until an unforeseeable situation before them, It got to a time that the eldest sister in the family got sick and she was diagnosed with kidney cancer, this really put the family in a tough place, the only solution was to get a new kidney for her, you can't get a kidney in the market just like that, the hospital gave them a high bill of 5million in Naira, the price itself was a heartbreak to them and since she doesn't want to lose any other family member, she had no choice but to sell the last piece of land left to her by her husband, which was able to sort the hospital bill

All effort to find a kidney donor was proofing bad, this really put the family in a tight spot, they were very sad, they don't want to lose another family member, the death of their dad was enough to break them, the money was available but the kidney wasn't. The siblings continue to visit their sister at the hospital, that was when the doctor ask if he could run some test on the family members to see if he could get a donor from one of them. They were all happy to do the test, after the test, only one of them come out to be a match, she was the last child of the family, the one that was always scared. After she had the news, she became worried, the thought of them removing one of her organ gave her the chill, she knows everyone expected her to do the operation and save their big sis but she didn't want to do it.

She ran away from home after 3days of pestering from her mom and her siblings. Words like " Do you want your sister to die, don't you love her, aren't we family" and many more, she went to meet her sick sister in the hospital

She explained everything to her, she was scared the operation won't be successful and her mom would loss to child, she was scared she was doing the wrong thing, she felt bad for being scared because she love her big sister, she wept so bad at the side of her sister sick bed, her big sister could hear her, she then called out to her and stretch her hand towards her, she stood up and held her hands, it was so warm and she felt comforted.

The sick girl just smile at her and said," I wouldn't even want you to do an operation you're scared of, I wish I was strong enough to watch you grow and wipe away all your tears, I'm sorry I have to put you through all this stress because of my sickness, I love you, and I won't force you to do what you don't want to do" hearing this, she ran out of the room to the corridor and started crying again

A young man after seeing her ran out of the room in tears walk up to her, place his hand on her shoulder and said "Don't cry again" she looked up and saw a handsome young man, she turned her face away, he knew she was in pain, he then offer to help, at first she was confused because she didn't know him from anywhere, he told her the doctor told him about their problem because he was a close relative with doctor and he had done the test and would like to donate his kidney for her sister. At that moment she felt numb, surprise, scared, all kind of emotion were just rushing through her brain, that was when her mother called out her name, she stood there unable to move with a swollen eye, her mom ran towards her and hugged her, apologized for what she had said and her siblings did the same, the doctor came around and the discussion about the donation started. After a week, the operation was done and successful, the both patient started getting better and everyone was happy.

In conclusion

Can I say the girl didn't love her sister enough to perform the operation. There are times when love would never be enough to solve a problem, critical thinking is needed. What is your say on this matter.
